The cuff on the bottom gives them a nice refined look. There are some nice collared button ups that would pair nicely with linens pants or summer shorts. I love the Citizen and DL jeans that they have hanging in the back by the fitting room. They look long and lean will be perfect for winter. Even if you like to dress to the 10s most of the time, the clothing in here is perfect for your not so fancy fashion days. *Also, there is a random collection of candles at the top of the clothes hanging racks. Actually, all of the jersey items are hits for me. If you can stomach paying around the $1000 mark for a simple top, you won't regret the purchase. I wear mine time and time again and never have to worry about them bobbling in the wash or those oh so annoying holes that mysteriously appear under the arm! If you're on their mailing list, Tiara will invite you to sample sales which are perfect if you are of average size. You can snap up items for a fraction of the cost but be warned, stock goes FAST. They are famous for their handmade tailored Chinese dresses and suits. I made one a while back, and the tailor has excellent craftsmanship. This is the second time I return to this store and order more dresses. The tailor gave me a lot of recommendations in terms of materials and styles. I am looking for a Chinese dress in short version with elegant and modern style. Since I am living in the United States and will only stay in Hong Kong for a few days, the tailor agreed to prioritize my order. I am looking forward to see it in 2 days, and try on for a final fitting. The tailor also offer to ship the dresses to me when they are done. Customer will have to pay for shipping cost, which could be a little pricy.

Seems to be reasonable price and you further identify where you want cut-outs and more specifics with fittings. Fewer fittings means it's cheaper, but you also don't get it as fitted. You can show them pictures of dresses and they can also create. One of the cons is that you don't get to see how the style would look on you. Best if you have tried something similar elsewhere and knows it looks good on you and then have them make it here. Good service and friendly. They also indicated that they have people email them pictures of their orders from abroad and they then ship the dress. For dresses it takes about 3 months for it to be completed, including the fittings.

The prices are reasonable too; HK$399-499 for wrap dresses (I bought 10!). A super bargain for pieces for work and travel. The ladies at this store usually recognize me and ask why I don't come more often. I say I only make a yearly pilgrimage to Hong Kong because if I visited more often my closet would explode. I decided to make my decision after I reached Hong Kong and visiting Charms vs Empire, and I just liked Charms more. Empire has a large following online and is ranked highly in Trip Advisor, but I enjoyed the larger space, atmosphere, and salesman in Charms and decided to go with Charms. I am extremely happy with my choice. I arrived fri am and had my first measurements done on fri at noon. I then came back 6 hrs later for a fitting where more measurements were taken. And then, i came back saturday for final fittings. By sun, i was able to pick up 2 suits and 3 shirts and easily catch my 3pm flight. I had also ordered an overcoat and it wasn't ready, but I just received it in the mail a week later. Now, back in the US, i've come to really appreciate the quality of a Bespoke hand made suite. My wife exclaimed that "it doesn't look like a sack" which i guess my other Armani suits looked like to her. It really does make a big difference when a suit is tailored to your body. It's also divided by type- you won't find the racks with mixed clothing, which makes shopping even easier. I got here once and bought a few shirts, got loads of compliments and went back to buy more. The last in the store is very nice and there's so much to chose from I really get lost - so I only went for shirts :) The store is pretty packed and hard to move in... During rush hours there are a few people inside too, a fun time indeed! This is a place I'll definitely go back to during my next visit. So cool!

It's funny how it's located right there, and the heart of Central, next to all those overpriced high-end brands. That is some 5,000 words worthy of study of Hong Kong, but I'll save it for later. You can't miss Mee & Gee if you walk through Li Yuen Street West. Minimal design or anything fancy, but you will be greeted by huge amount of clothes. Like tons. Closest to the entrance are the $5 (HKD) clothes. People constantly walking in and out, so squeeze through if you have to. The men's clothing was mostly on the second floor, so I walked up there and took a quick look. To be fair, the design of a lot of clothes there are considered out of fashion. But then, isn't fashion something just being recycled every decade? And at least, the way you carry it is all it matters. Brad Pitt and I could wear the same cloth, but being interpreted and criticized very differently... Clothes are fairly clearly categorized, all in good bargains and good conditions. I'd still recommend you to wash it before you wear it, obviously. Also, I'd pick clothes with a darker tones than a lighter ones, as some of the clothes here tend to have this old, yellowish, wash-out tones. Unless of course, that tone is exactly what you are looking for. I didn't end up buying the cloth I had in mind, mainly because I keep a minimal amount of clothes at home, and I wouldn't buy new ones unless I'm 100% certain. But yeah, at least I know the cheap option is always there.

But I ended up getting a very nice, 'break the bank' coat hehehe. I hope it lasts for at least 10years or so to maximize the value of the coat hahaha. I was very happy with my purchase cause I knew I had a chance to try them out and compare various outfits to see which ones worked for my pear-shaped figure ;) I can see that their clothing line is very distinct. And the quality of the work is exquisite. I walked out of that shop buying more than what I should be spending on a coat, dress, and 2 tops. But I felt that I got freat value for my money. Make sure you have enough. Why I would buy one off the rack -'s: - After my first fitting, I had to return within a week. I could not do a final fitting so the item had to be shipped. The sleeves ended up being too tight. - It costs over USD 700 to get one made. - You need more than a week go see everything from beginning to end. - It costs USD 30 to get the item shipped to you if you cannot finish the fitting before you leave. After spending USD 700 I thought paying for shipping too was tacky. Overall I would consider Linva if I had time to see the product to the end. Since I could not lengthen my trip, I had to pay for the outcome.
