She booked me for the cheapest accommodation on Norwegian and did not explain any options for upgrading my cruise. When I saw options on the cruise website afterwards, I tried to call and email the agent, but she was unresponsive. That's when I learned, the hard way, that once you book a cruise through an agent, it becomes a contract, and the cruise company will no longer work with you directly. Reluctantly, I made a second appointment to see the agent, because I wanted to upgrade my booking. She was not in the office when I arrived, and I was told she had just stepped out and would be back shortly. I waited 20 minutes. When she finally did return, she was carrying take-out lunch for her and her husband, and kept me waiting another 15 minutes while they ate in his office. She denied this, but I could clearly see them in the reflection of a glass window/door. I told her I didn't feel we were a good match and asked her if she would voluntarily release my booking with Norwegian, but she refused. Highly unprofessional. I have myself to blame for not doing my research ahead of time. Next time I will seek reviews or asked friends for recommendations.

If you do, then you will stay away from dealing with her. Here is what happened: We made connection with Sandy for one of our clients (Mr.D) during December 2015 for his trip to US. We found Sandy on her Virtuoso website, and worked with her to design Mr.D's travel plans. She did take care of our client, and she made a profit of close to $1000. At the time of closing the sale, early December, she agreed and she gave in writing that she would part with our 10% commission as a finder's fee. I kept in regular touch with her, and during mid-May, I confronted her as to why it's taking so long. And, then she exploded. She went into a crazy email rant about her business ethics and how the measly 10% commission doesn't matter to her because she is doing a great volume of business. Well, I thought, may be, there is a method behind the 'Sandy craziness', and she would keep her word. But, no, not in Sandy's case, because Sandy is all about skirting, and avoiding the issue as best as she can. Till date, we have reminded her multiple times, invoiced her, and even given our legal counsel address for mailing the check. A 10% commission on her profits equals $100 - is not a huge difference in the grand scheme of things. What matters is how Sandy treats her business clients/partners. As I stated earlier, princess Sandy feels written words don't make a difference as long as she has her way. I know Virtuoso agents are top notch, because we do work with a few of them. Having worked with other Virtuoso agents, none of them come close to Sandy, in terms of delivering the most disgusting and horrible experience that you can imagine. Just another "All Talk No Action" Star, no respect for other people's time, and values commitment like a toilet paper. ====== Response to her comment on 7/15: -------------------------------------------- As if --- Sandy would do the right thing! I saw her response, and .... YAWN!!!! She claims the address provided to her is incorrect, and bounced. Well, that's our legal counsel and as far as I can tell they are still there. What I like about this Inn. Location Location, Location…read more There are 10 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel in the Historic Folsom District. You wouldn't have to worry where to park as you would park in the hotel parking lot which is super close to the restaurants. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel. the bar summer hours are limited. See pics section. I liked that this hotel is a partner location for my airline miles which was the main reasons I chose the location. The room has a simple coffee maker and microwave. Parking is included with stay and you need a dash pass for your car to not get towed, you receive this at check in. This Inn has been around for a long time and has some great features like it has been used for conferences and weddings. A separate Wedding office is on site. It has a small pool and a hot tub. On the other hand there some aspects of this hotel that are less than appealing. The bed could use a refresher, the A/C in my room was blocked by the couch at least 25%. The faucet in the bathroom worked poorly. I heard the adjacent bathroom shower in my room which was a little unnerving. The carpet felt "squishy" which made me hesitant to walk barefoot. The child proof outlets led to being adult proof outlets which was very frustrating especially when plugging in phone chargers, etc.
