We decided to stop by here and check this Cigar shop out. It was pretty empty and not a lot of selection and the Humidor was pretty empty it was just okay. Ended up getting 4 cigars while looking around. They have a smoking area in the back with nice chairs but it just looks so empty. read more

Ok...so I'm from out of town looking to enjoy a cigar...so I call because it has a lounge where I could smoke. Upon answering after at least 30 rings a gentleman answered. I stated I was from out of town and inquired about their smoking lounge...he stated that they have a lounge but that it was temporarily closed...it was obvious based upon his tone that I wasn't welcome to sit in their lounge but would be open to sell me a cigar. It's South Bend in late November and I'm from out of town...where would I smoke other than at the establishment I bought a cigar from! If this was the owner...wow...and if not...they need to wonder how much business are they losing by such horrible hospitality and service! Hands down the best selection of pipe tobacco and cigars in the area! I went in today to pick up a tin of Dunhill Nightcap and an ounce of Wilshire and I ended up walking out with a new pipe too. The gentleman that works there is always uber friendly and he can provide many suggestions based on your tastes. If you enjoy smoking I highly recommend stopping by and checking the place out. read more

Tinder Box - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Mishawaka, Indiana

Based on all the reviews I had read previously, I was so disappointed when I actually went to the Tinder Box. Overpriced and small selection of cigars. There's no signs in front of the store that actually tell you this is the Tinder Box, just the leftover "Heff's" signage. When I walked into the store two employees were sitting down smoking cigars (no surprise), but neither acknowledged me or asked if they could help find something. As I stated in the beginning, their stogies are overpriced, and that's an understatement! Their prices are not competitive with any other cigar establishments I've visited in the U.S. Based on everything I saw at the Tinder Box (poor selection, inflated prices, poor customer service, etc...), I'd say this place will be out of business shortly. Would be nice if there was a description with each brand on smoothness and flavor , as I explained why I was looking to provide a nice cigar for a fellow co- worker . Asked for a smooth good flavored cigar, but got harsh no flavor bunk . I rarely seek a cigar and when I do I would like to be respected and not just sold something. Today reminded me why i do not go here. I was really looking forward to hooking up a fellow co worker , but I woulda done better buying black and mild from Gas station . At least it would have been enjoyable and less money. read more
