Tried 4 more of their wing flavours. Eric linsauce just tasted like medium. You can see the spice speckles but the flavour is overwhelmed by the medium. It's still decent, though. Smoky garpar was good. It was as it says on the label. The garpar was subtle (a good decision), so the smoky edge was apparent. Aurora's Finest was excellent. It had a great tandoori taste which was not just skin deep: the flavour really penetrate. I couldn't taste the dill, though. Peace in Ukraine was a creamy Buffalo offset by sweet chili. It was a great Buffalo variant. French onion soup was decent. read more

Came here on a Tuesday for take out, was super excited to try the wings here Cus I heard such great reviews!! It was good, however I feel like it's lacking flavour a little bit. I got the maple bacon, because it's a dry rub I definitely felt they could've put more seasoning in it. I used to work for a wing place for many years and we usually indulge the sauce especially if it's dry rub. Anyways other that that the wings were good, they were huge. I like how you can choose how many to get(at least 8 for wing nights) I got 10. Haha I think I would've been ok with 8! This is also a small family run restaurant! Great local joint. Wings and flavors on point. Beers on tap covers your essentials. The owners (at least I think they're the owners) make you feel welcome right away, like you been there for years. Decor has old school hockey memorabilia, like Ron Hextall. Reminds me back in the days. read more

First time trying this place after hearing from different neighborhood posts that the wings is great etc. poutine was decent not 4-5 star but atleast not disappointed. Prime rib sandwich was not worth $18, husband ate the sandwich but I tried it the beef in my opinion was too well done not sure if there was any option to choose but it didn't taste like prime rib sandwich. Also ordered 2lb wings if you want sauce type maybe because it was hot in the take out containers within 20 min or so latest going home they were quite soggy. I also mentioned not too spicy and didn't know which flavor to try but they were both too spicy and I like spicy food. Flavors tried was a jerk sauce snd the cajun/hot combo called Cattahart Coots. May give the wings a try another time but not with sauce as the size were decent snd if not the sogginess flavors would be what the orders supposed to be. read more

Heard from a friend that Tina's Grill offers wings special Tuesday and Thursday so we ordered 2 lbs for takeout. We got the Dry Cajun and the Maple Bacon. They also have other flavours such as Mild, Medium, Spicy, Honey Garlic, and Thai Chili. The shop is very small and is mainly operated by 1 person at the front and 1 person in the kitchen, so service can be very slow. For getting our takeouts, we literally had to call multiple times for someone to pick up and take our order, and the wait was roughly 30mins to get our food. The portion size was good, it was 8 wings per lb. The flavour decent, I think I liked the Dry Cajun more. For the Maple Bacon, at first I thought it was going to be saucy but it turned out just be powdered spices, much like the Dry Cajun. However, they clearly didn't put enough Maple Bacon spices on the wings and the little spices that were there weren't spread out evenly either. PS. the smell of the Maple Bacon was really pungent that it lingered in the house even through the next day. read more

This place is kind of a neighbourhood secret! Located right in the Aurora Highlands neighbouhood in a nondescript plaza, lives this little gem. Walking in, you're welcomed with a smile. The two times I've visited Tina's, we were sat immediately, but I can see the small restaurant getting busy at peak hours since it's really tiny. There are only about 4-5 tables and the bar for seating. The restaurant, although small, is welcoming. I think they could probably fit a couple more tables in there if they used the space better, but perhaps they did it this way on purpose. It has a classic bar/pub feel and decor, very casual and down-to-earth. Their regular menu is definitely pub-style, burgers, wings and sandwiches. The main attraction is their specials menu though. It seems that every day they have a fantastic special on the go. The two times we've visited, we've had the burger special and the wing special. The burger special was a burger and fries for $7 or $8, which was a crazy deal. The burgers are homemade and they come with a pile of fries. You can't even get a meal at McDonald's for that price. The burger was flavourful and grilled really nicely. The wing special is $0.69 wings which is also amazing. We ordered 30 wings, but realized we messed up when the wings arrived and were huge! 20 wings for 2 people would easily suffice, especially since this is a dine-in special only, no takeaways! I appreciated that you could pick as many sauces as you wanted, not a lot restrictions on substitutions and things like that. It made for a really relaxing, down-to-earth experience. We also ordered a poutine, which I would maybe skip next time, just because we had so much food and I didn't find it to be a standout. The wings were really worth it though, they were massive, juicy and sauced well. Service was really friendly and kind, I think Tina herself served us, and despite us not being regulars (yet), we were treated very well. It does seem like there are tons of regulars, which, I think, is a good sign! Can't wait to have more wing nights here and check out their other specials. read more

Nice small spot in aurora, family run. Hands down the best wings in York region. Way better than the big over priced guys (wild wing/Allstars/duffs/Buffalo wild wings) this place actually puts care and love into their food especially the wings. Super crispy and juicy inside. During the Covid-19 pandemic, life was no longer normal, and can't go out to eat anymore. Not our our favourite local places remained open. However through their daily social media updates, I discovered this little gem on the other side of town I rarely go by. I've hear a lot about their wings, and tried a couple flavours on their wing night, and wow! These are jumbo wings that totally hit the spot. I was also able to order a bottle of wine with my dinner. I've ordered takeout three times now. When the coronavirus lockdown is all over, I'm looking forward to bringing in my family to dine in once it's allowed. read more

We dined here for the first time and it would definitely be our last. We ordered the beer battered onion rings for an app. You can tell they are the frozen kind they just throw in the deep fryer to heat up. Our mains were a Greek salad and an order of wings. The Greek salad was less than desirable. Who puts egg on Greek salad. Needs a few more toppings as it was almost all lettuce. The wings were good. I really don't think a lot of their food is homemade like their shirts say. read more

love this little hidden gem in Aurora! We've been 3 times in the past 5 months and like everything we've tried.

The atmosphere is very friendly. It was my first time in there. I ordered the burger because I think a burger is a good barometer of how good the rest of the menu items will be. The menu stated the patty was specially seasoned. I was starting to think I found my new favorite spot. Then the burger came. The patty looked like it was very generic and previously frozen. It was too small for the oversized bun. They really skimped on the condiments. One very small tomato slice, onions, and a little bit of lettuce. That was it. It took four bites to finally hit the tomato. On my first bite I knew I was in for disappointment. The patty was very dry and tasteless. The bun was also very dry and gave me the distinct feeling it was four or five days old. I can't remember the last time I had to take sips of a drink just to get a burger down. The fries had the same taste and texture as McCain's frozen fries. It was a pretty disappointing food experience. I felt it was overpriced for what I had. Soft drink and the burger came to almost $14. It felt like more of a $7 meal. However, I think I would go back if I was looking to have a beer with a friend somewhere close to home. read more
