Felix said it was most likely that the relay board was malfunctioning. He had a new relay board that he could install for about $1280. We decided to go ahead and have Felix replace the relay board which would be under warranty for 90 days. Ten days after Felix installed the new relay board, the oven started blinking on and off again. Felix came again and said that the control board was now malfunctioning. Felix said that new control boards were not being manufactured and he was not able to obtain a new or refurbished control board. He said that with the warranty, I could use the $1280 towards the purchase of a new range from their company. Felix also said that new ranges typically lasts 5-7 years. My husband and I did not want a new range. We wanted to have our old Dacor fixed as we felt it was a waste of resources to buy a new range every 5-7 years. Fortunately, my daughter''s friend also had a similar problem with their old Dacor oven's control/relay board. They sent their boards to a repair service and repaired their oven for a fraction of the cost. So we sent our control and relay boards to Circuit Board Medics. For a total of $320 we were able to fix both the control board and our old relay board (shipping varies depending on how fast you want the boards to be shipped). My husband was handy enough to remove and reinstall the control board. Note, there are plastic parts that are old and fragile so perhaps paying a local repair service to remove/reinstall boards would be best for some people who are not that handy. The oven is working now without any issues (I will update this review if any problems arise in the next few months). I regret spending the money on the new relay board but I am extremely happy with Circuit Board Medics as they did an excellent job on fixing the boards for a reasonable cost.

After a quick online search, I was happy to find Don Jones Custom Stereo here in town. They wanted some money up front to do the diagnostic, which is fine. They let me know over the phone what parts it needed, the prices, and I okayed it. The whole process was completed in just a month, though I expected it to be longer. I got it home, and it played like brand new. They did a terrific job. They're personable, they communicate well, telling you what's needed and what's being done along the way, and they're honest about their prices. They even gave me the broken parts they replaced in a bag for me to see what they did, like my old auto mechanic used to do. All told, I was charged a few hundred dollars for the parts and repairs, and it was worth every penny to me. We get attached to old stereo equipment like family pets. They bring joy into our lives, and you don't want to lose them if you don't have to. The business is located in a tiny strip mall on Laurens Rd. with very few parking spots. It's a little hard to get in and out of, but it's doable. In addition to repairs, they also sell lots of vintage stereo equipment of different brands, stereo speakers, turn tables, etc., so if you're looking for something vintage or special as an accent piece, this is the place. They don't take credit cards: just cash and personal checks. I don't have any complaints. Maybe I'd say the store is a little musty, but that's all. If you need your beloved "pet" repaired, bring it to Don Jones.

Turns out to be handy for replacement of this iPhone SE 2nd Gen for $75 deductible. We thought it was just a dead battery, so I was advised by the Asurion representative to take it to this location for evaluation, it was Monday. I was next in line. It took about 15 minutes for them to diagnose my phone and recommend the replacement option instead of a simple battery replacement. I contacted Asurion and received a phone in the mail on Tuesday. The box included materials to send the old phone back in a very simple process. It could not have been easier. Four stars only because their lobby had no seating area and had a video and audio commercial advertising their whole home insurance for every kind of device for only $25 per month. I also had to listen to the well crafted sales pitch each time I contacted them on the phone (twice). They ask what happened with the phone and ask leading questions about other devices in proximity and then try to sell you an insurance product on everything. They also make a big deal about prosecuting fraud, which makes one think that they could possibly be difficult to work with if your case is not just a straight up, straight forward, easy case. A 30 second looping advertisement, loudly broadcast, gets really old if you are waiting, even if it was only 15 minutes.
