My experience with these guys was absolutely fantastic. I brought in a brand new backrest cover that I had bought from the dealer, the absolute last one in stock in the country, but these stitches were the wrong color. I learned after that I could have had them build me a completely new one, but I was more interested in just making this one work by having it rebuilt and stitched to match. They handled it easily, it looks like a brand new OEM cover, and I now know that if I ever need another one I can just have them make one. Well, Tim's Auto Upholstery not only did an outstanding repair job to my Jeep's interior headliner but the main reason for this review is the fact that I was not aware that I left so much valuables in my vehicle and upon picking up my Jeep, I saw my stuff was all there, everything I purchased from my long drive from Seattle, gifts (LV Raiders hat, etc) that were given to me by relatives, money (over one hundred dollars) in my pant's pocket, lots of quarters in the ashtray bin were all there..! Tim's did a great job replacing the torn armrest on the center console in my 4Runner. They replaced the torn leather cover but not the padding underneath, so there was still a worn out spot where my elbow sits. I called Tim the next day and he apologized for the old padding not being replaced and said to bring it back to him. he replaced the old padding and recovered the arm rest for free and now it's good as new. plus they are really nice people that I enjoyed talking to while I was there. Really happy with the way the leather and the craftsmanship on our driver car seat that was redone today! When we first purchased, the car seat was overused and the seat was ripped up so we contacted Jody and Tim and they helped us with everything we needed. I went there as my Chevy Volt seats are pretty uncomfortable, but all Tim's could do was replace the seat with the same seat as provided by Chevrolet. I'm not blaming them, but no business resulted. I talked with them for a while, and they were all pretty pleasant and knowledgeable. If at some time I need upholstery work I will definitely visit them first. read more

My repair was out of the ordinary. I had to replace two seatbelts that the harness on my dog had cut through. I called several auto body repair shops and dealer service centers with no luck until someone mentioned that I might be best served by an auto upholsterer. Tim's Auto Upholstery should be added to everyone's go to list for car interior finishes and convertible tops. Tim is an authorized installer for all of the better after market and independent OEM manufactures of convertible tops. I got mine from Tops Direct installed and Tim did a great job. I have a 2004 Porsche 996. Three years later, when the top failed, Tim repaired it quickly and helped me make my warranty claim for a new top. Also at the same Tim was installing my top, I had him re-cover my two front leather seats, shifter hood and a few other parts in the front of the car. With the very warm summers, I had Tim do perforated center pieces on the seats. Tim did a masterful job, pure high-end craftsmanship. My seats matched the rest of the car perfectly and they are 100% more comfortable than the originals. Really! For about the same money as the custom-made seats, I could have bought either the OEM replacement leather that fit over the seats or some cheaper option. I am really pleased that I chose Tim to remake the seats and had Tim's craftsmen build new ones. He completely re-cushioned and rebuilt the interior padding of the seats. When you own an older Porsche or older car, your fear is always that you can't trust the professionals that work on it. It took me years and a lot of money to find a mechanic who knew what was what, honest and reasonable. Tim is my guy for all auto interiors. I have absolute faith and trust in his suggestions, work product and after sales service. If you need leather or vinyl interior work done, whether its seats or re-covering a center console, look no further for your man. read more

Tim replaced the seat insert on my 2016 Mercedes c300, and did a fantastic job- it really makes the interior look great because the repair is undetectable - they removed the seat, removed the bottom upholstery, cut out the damaged panel, and stitched in a replacement panel that is a perfect match to the original upholstery read more

I needed new foam pads in the seat of a 12 year old mazda. They ordered the cushion and called me to schedule when ready. In my case it was a quick job so they did it while I waited. This is the second of two reviews. I had both front seats completely redone. After two trips back to the shop, I am still not happy The seats simply put do not look like they should. They are full of wrinkles where there should be none. I was told this would "tighten up" after some time in the sun. Simply not true. Its been a couple of months and it is still just as wrinkled as it was the day I picked it up. I spent a ton of money on these seats so I am really disappointed. read more

I cannot imagine a better experience. Tim and Jody are incredibly friendly and professional. I had them reupholster a 20 year old custom motorcycle seat. It was a unique and difficult job that other upholsterers gave me huge quotes for. Tim did it for nearly half of the lowest quote I got elsewhere. They had a fast turnaround and the finished product was exactly what I wanted. About 6 weeks after, I noticed a seem starting to split. I brought the seat back and Tim had the seat completely redone with a higher-quality material at no cost to me. Way above my wildest expectations! I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe Z71 with a two-tone leather interior. The center console is leather-wrapped and developed a tear and had some obvious wear. The dealer wanted more than $500 to replace just the console lid. HOLY @$#%! Tim's re-wrapped mine with new leather that was better than the original, matched the color perfectly, and did it for a fraction of what the dealer wanted to charge me to fix it. It is very hard to get a hold of Tim and when I do get to talk to him he puts me off to a two months later to do a job. I have used him three times and will no longer use him again. The last job he did for me was not done correctly and I have talked to him twice since he did the job 4 months ago to fix the problem and he just puts me off and now he wont answer my phone calls.
