A friend told me that they always use Jameson Shoe Repairs of Louth, so I thought I would make a special trip to Louth to see if they could do the repair. They were very helpful and knowledgable and soled and heeled my boots within the 3 hours I stayed in town for. I also had my door key cut which was half the price of elsewhere too and worked spot on. I have been using this shop for years, my parents and grandparents also did, its not like the…read morenormal shoe repair shops that you see on high streets, this is a traditional shoe repair shop with new an old methods being used, over the years i have taken everything from old boots to a horse saddle for repair and each time i'm shocked how new everything is made to look. They also sell new footwear, bags, accessories, key cutting, engraving etc. The owner Peter is now 70 ish i think and still serves you with the same passion he did when i was 9 years old (40 years ago). If you need footwear or leather goods repairing or just need a key cut then i recommend you pop in to Littles.

They sell boots, shoes, slippers and various accessories including shoe polish etc. They do all sorts of shoe repairs and will give advice on the best type of repair and offer very reasonable prices. They also repair other types of leather items such as restitching straps on bags etc. You can give a favourite item a new lease of life and save money too. They also cut keys and are able to cut many different ones. This really is a very useful little shop.

Once in there is a counter ahead and the staff are really friendly and welcoming - you feel like one of their friends. They are brilliant when you need repairs done to your boots and shoes and will try to get your items ready for you as quickly as possible if you are in a hurry, alternatively you can call back for them. They sell laces and shoe creams etc and do repairs to other items such as belts. Shame there isn't one of these on every high street so we didn't have to constantly buy new.

The Sherwood Cobbler not only provided Doc Marten soles onto my shoes but made them look as if they had been originally created that way. My pair of Delicious Junction Rude Boys look fantastic. Now I know why he is a Member of Master Craft Men. P.s the price was actually cheaper than one of the high street cobblers quotes for replacement leather soles and heels so...fantastic service, does the impossible and at reasonable prices. What more could you ask and want for?
