Jackson J Robert - Shunt removed and I've been cleared and don't need a new one. Completely unexpected and I'll take it.

I have a narrowed spinal cord that disappears in places. I also have compressed discs slip discs discs that are hardly there. Basically a hot mess. Dr. Jackson is an architect who came up with a plan to save me from a wheelchair and paralysis. I have heard from my doctors that he is the doctor's doctor. My experience with him so far has been excellent. His surgery coordinator Wida is absolutely wonderful and gets the business of getting you surgery done. She is on point. The spinal class that I took were very informative. They were able to get me into surgery pretty quick and my appointment is next week. I'll update the review after the surgery.

When I contacted his office, I was repeatedly told that it would take time for the pain to improve. However, the pain continued. I later consulted eight other orthopedic surgeons and showed them my MRI and CT scans from before and after the surgery. Every one of them told me that, in their opinion, the surgery had been poorly performed. I continue to live with significant pain and require injections every few months to manage it. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend being very careful when choosing a surgeon and seeking more than one opinion before undergoing back surgery.

I've never left a hospital review in my life and never thought I would, but I feel like I…read moreabsolutely have to for this place. For the past week, I couldn't walk or sit properly because of severe pain, so I had no choice but to visit. From the moment I made the appointment over the phone, they were so kind and professional that my expectations were already high. After visiting, their exceptional kindness made me feel compelled to leave this review. The doctor initially said that surgery would quickly solve the problem, but the pain I had endured over the past week made it hard for me to believe. However, now that the anesthesia has worn off, I can confidently say the doctor was absolutely right. If you're experiencing similar pain, I highly recommend coming here. Everything about this place is flawless!

Two weeks have gone by and still no phone calls. I called today to ask to speak to a manager. Savannah tells me she is the manager and when I told her that I was not happy that she had not called me to schedule the appointment, even though it got approved on Monday. Today is Friday. Her excuse she was of town Tuesday and Wednesday. She had Monday, Thursday and Friday to call. What bunch of excuses. So at the end of the phone call when I asked her if there's anybody else I could speak to she was very snarky on the phone and told me no that she was the manager. I asked her again to repeat her name since I was going to leave a review on yelp. She lied to me and told me her name is Veronica. I will not be returning to this office to the unprofessionalism of the staff. I hope Dr realizes that he's losing patients do to the unprofessionalism of Savannah. Even the day I was in she was so unprofessional in the office answering phone calls. She is so loud, obnoxious, and zero professionalism. I have never felt such an unprofessional environment as I did when I walked into that office.

Tuesday, 8-25-2026: I'm here bright and early @ 5:00 am for my partial mastectomy, lift &…read morereduction. It was incomprehensible to me that I had DCIS as it doesn't run in the family. Anyhow, this day was inevitable to resolve the cancer. We came here previously to get a consult with a nurse from the Admitting Office. She was very nice & cordial. The hospital is pristine and everything was clean & orderly. As always, my devoted husband accompanied me today as he's been with me this entire journey. I checked in at the Admitting office then stayed in the waiting room. I was then brought back to the prep room, where we met Jade, nurse assistant. She was very nice, funny, but exuded professionalism. She took down notes, verified all my information, and was thorough. Then came Dana, the intake nurse, who went over my information again to confirm. Then we met the anesthesiologist whose name I forgot but she was very nice & professional. She set up the anesthesia and I vaguely remember being wheeled into the operating room before I went into LaLa Land. My 2 doctors: Dr. Amy Bremner & Dr. Justin West skillfully operated on me. Dr. Bremner removed the cancer while Dr. West did the lift/reduction. After 4.5 hours, I was wheeled into the recovery room. Unsure of how long it was before I woke up. It was about 2:00 pm when I woke up very groggy & cotton mouthed with very chapped lips. Nurse Kevin attended to me. He thankfully gave me water with ice & gave me a spirometer. I hate that contraption but it is necessary. It was difficult at first but it finally became easier to consequently hit my target. Another nurse whose name I didn't capture gave me a chap stick. Thank God! Everybody was kind. I want to thank Memorial Care for having such a high caliber, professional medical team. I know I was in perfectly capable hands. I was treated with dignity, respect, and compassion while receiving such competent care. On a side note, out of all my multiple surgeries this has been the most painful! I highly recommend this hospital!

DO NOT GO TO THIS ER! Hands down the worst ER experience of my life. I cannot explain the…read moreunprofessionalism and rudeness I have experienced here. My first visit here was on Sunday, I had some tests, one came back and I called to find out when the others would be back and I needed to know exactly what tests we were waiting on, I was told many times by the charge nurse that she couldn't give me that information and to look on 'my chart' - I looked in my chart and it was never documented on there the tests I had done. I explained to her how can I just wait on tests I don't even know what I'm waiting on and I need to know if I'm on the right course of antibiotics. She kept repeating 'due to HIPPA I can't give you that information' I told her I am literally the patient asking for my OWN information...... eventually escalated to Jason Snow the ER Director who was apologetic and helpful.... I ended up back in the ER last night and Dr Edwards was also very helpful and kind however the running of the ER itself is a mess.... The first tests we were waiting on apparently got sent out to Utah where they had been trying to contact the ER to let them know the wrong swabs were taken and they couldn't use them.... So I was waiting for days on tests I was never going to get back all the while being unwell and not knowing what was wrong.... They re did the swabs last night then came back again to tell me they used the wrong ones and needed to re do them..... I called again today to be put through to the ER, the operator Aveline literally argued with me and refused to put me through then hung up on me!!!! This hospital is a total joke, a disorganised mess with the rudest staff and nurses with horrible bed side manner. Thankfully I don't have anything seriously wrong with me but I would NEVER ever bring my children here because they are incompetent and I would not trust the care given. Go to Mission at Mission Viejo instead if you need a professional and competent ER.
