I have two girls, ages 7 and 8, and have moved a lot so I've been to many different dentists over…read morethe years. Let me start out by saying from the first initial phone call I have had nothing but over the top amazing customer service. Warm voices over the phone eager to answer any silly questions I had. The waiting room has a fun little area for kids with a spiral staircase for a fort, and the office has a lot of light and chic fun accents. We had our appointment with dr. Katie and she is such a kind, compassionate and energetic person. We absolutely love her!!! Very enthusiastic in her profession and you can tell she enjoys her job (not just going through the motions). My youngest has had to get a lot of work done on her teeth including root canals and fillings. She got to sit back, watch a cartoon and was well cared for by all the staff. Even before leaving the office I was given options for pain management as a precaution so we wouldn't be lost in the middle of the night when office is closed. The other dentists have made a point to come up to us to introduce themselves and shake my hand and welcoming us even though we have never been seen by anyone but Katie. I'm blown away by how welcomed we are here. I've had the pleasure of getting to see smaller children on their first dentist visit when we are waiting and the staff all do such an amazing job educating and making the experience pleasant and fun! I honestly can't say enough good things about this place! This is the place you want to bring your kids to. as corny as it sounds, you leave feeling like as a parent you have done a good job:-)) cause my kids left smiling:-))

Our daughter had a procedure done by Dr. Hargleroad. The crowns fell off of several of her teeth,…read morebut when we took her back in for a follow up, we were shocked by the lack of bedside manner. Dr. Hargleroad literally held our 18 month old down with her screaming, and without numbing agent or pause, jammed a new metal crown into her gums. After being traumatized by the experience, the crown fell off before even reaching home with bloody and bruised gums. To this day almost two years later, our daughter is terrified about going to the dentist or having her mouth touched at all. To add insult to injury, we received a letter from Dr. Hargleroad's office that we are being fired and sent to collections due to many attempts to resolve an outstanding balance. We never received any of those communications and received not a single phone call. We cleared up the bill immediately after receiving this nasty letter. Overall, this is one of the worst medical / professional encounters of my life and I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your child's dental (and mental) health. Dr. Hargleroad and her staff are a joke.

I was in the market for a new pediatric dentist for my two kids, and this practice was in my PPO…read moreinsurance network. The reception said they were accepting patients and took the information for my 13yo daughter. Then when we got to my son's information, I told them he is disabled (Down syndrome and autism) and 19yo. I was put on hold for about 8 minutes, after which another person came on the line and told me they are not accepting patients over 18yrs. He is the height and weight of an average 13 year-old, and receives pediatric medical care and has been in two other pediatric dentistry practices the past two years since he turned 18. The person referred me specifically to another dentist (not in my network) who is known to work well with disabled people. All in all, it appears the key word that got us denied was 'disabled'. Hope this practice becomes more inclusive and understanding of disabilities in the future.
