Dr. Foster was the first one who said she'd give it a shot without general anesthesia, and my girl did GREAT. She ended up getting two crowns and one filling, and it was close to $3500 LESS than what I would have had to pay at any of the other practices. The entire team made my daughter feel at ease, even excited to go to the dentist. Not a single tear was shed (except maybe one by me). Let me start out by saying from the first initial phone call I have had nothing but over the top amazing customer service. Warm voices over the phone eager to answer any silly questions I had. The waiting room has a fun little area for kids with a spiral staircase for a fort, and the office has a lot of light and chic fun accents. We had our appointment with dr. Katie and she is such a kind, compassionate and energetic person. We absolutely love her!!! Very enthusiastic in her profession and you can tell she enjoys her job (not just going through the motions). My youngest has had to get a lot of work done on her teeth including root canals and fillings. She got to sit back, watch a cartoon and was well cared for by all the staff. Even before leaving the office I was given options for pain management as a precaution so we wouldn't be lost in the middle of the night when office is closed. The other dentists have made a point to come up to us to introduce themselves and shake my hand and welcoming us even though we have never been seen by anyone but Katie. I'm blown away by how welcomed we are here. I've had the pleasure of getting to see smaller children on their first dentist visit when we are waiting and the staff all do such an amazing job educating and making the experience pleasant and fun! I honestly can't say enough good things about this place! We were…read moretold upfront there would be some out of pocket being that our insurance was out of network but the amount wouldn't be significant. However turned out both kids' visits were fully denied by our insurance. When inquiring why we were lead to believe there would be partial payment and not be told upfront our insurance would fully denied payment on the work completed. Also asked why was it necessary to complete their insurance forms prior to the visit, in doing so not determine partial or no payment from the insurance company? We assumed they would have been able to inform us if we would fully pay out of pocket instead of informing us there would be partial payment; told that was the chance 'we' took being out of network ... so be warned. Again insurance fully declined payment from their third submitted attempt. In addition to as they re-submitted our claim again to our insurance our daughter returned complaining about her tooth that they worked on; we were again charged for this return visit and they submitted the claim where the insurance fully denied any payment. No corrective work was done but she was looked at and was fully billed for the visit

I showed up on the day of our appointments and they said they didnt have my paperwork so I would need to fill it out again for each child on their tablet. I filled out all the same information again for my first child and the submit button doses not work. The receptionists look it over and decide maybe the system is down. They ask me to fill out 2 huge packets of paper for each kid. It is absolutely ridiculous. They dont value your time at all.

I want to start this by saying that I did have to reschedule a few times. I fully understand that…read morethis is an annoyance, but in my defense I am a teacher, it was towards the end of the school year, I also coach baseball, and I had little control over the things that led me to have to reschedule. However, because of my rescheduling, Dr. Engler would no longer be willing to extract my tooth and referred me somewhere else to have it done. I choose Ledge Rock because I had heard good things and was impressed with the Dentist I had worked with during my initial visit. However, I had a bad tooth, went back in, found out my initial dentist had left, and they only have one dentist on staff. X-rays were done on the tooth, was told no root canal was necessary, that it was a cavity that could be fixed and crowned. After a week I was still in pain, any pressure on that tooth caused a shooting pain, went back in and was told that now I needed to have a root canal. Great, now I was out the money I had spent on the original fix, and now I had to spend more money to have the tooth fixed (she did say "I mentioned that it might need a root canal" well, great, but maybe you should have made sure before I need to now drop $2000 to fix this). She offered to replace the crown that she had initially put on the tooth that now had to be removed because of the root canal needed. This was in February, I have not been able to get the root canal because I don't have the money for it. Two months ago I broke a tooth, went in, scheduled an extraction, but as mentioned, had to reschedule a few times, went in today to finally have it taken care of (I had to make the decision between the two teeth and the one in the most pain won out) and was told that she was not going to do it, and they were going to refer me to someone else. Reason why? I reschedule too many times. Fine, I'm going to another dentist. I would not recommend them. I am now having to drop another $1000 on a tooth that was not fixed to begin with, and because of another tooth issue, I have to choose between the two and being able to also pay my bills. Thanks. Follow-up/Addition: Just to add to my review, the office staff, or at least the one I spoke to, deserves a negative review. Not only were they disrespectful, but they also provided false information (they lied). She stated that the only reason the dentist was going to remove the broken tooth was because "I was going on vacation." Not true for two reasons. First I'm a teacher and we had three weeks left of school, and two, though I did have to drive out to California that was an unplanned trip do to a friends accident (which occurred the last day of school and I left two days later. I have documented hard copy proof of this. I went in two days after the tooth was broken, was provided options for the fix in house and the cost of each, and had an appointment the following week to have it done.

He communicates the plan clearly, but also is very upfront when a result cannot be guaranteed and about the risks of different treatment options. I have seen multiple orthodontists over the years and Dr Timock's compassion and bedside manner is beyond compare. His humor and understanding are just wonderful. I used to hate going to any dentist or ortho appointment, but I always have a great experience here! It's fun listening to him joke with kids in the clinic, so I recommend him for both children and adult patients. Most importantly to me, Dr Timock allows me to have a voice in my treatment plan and actually considers my goals and wishes, which has not been my experience with most of my other doctors in all areas of healthcare. This means more than I can express. When I first came to Dr T, I had zero expectations that the problems with my teeth and beyond would be able to be fixed, as was repeatedly discussed with him and other orthodontic professionals. Two years later, I'm amazed at the progress we have already made. He's a brilliant doctor willing to take risks (if the patient is comfortable, and he explains the risks very clearly in a way you can understand) and definitely knows what he's doing. All of the staff has been wonderful and so so sweet. Jana is an amazing tech and human!!!!!!

The video games and massage chairs in the waiting room are a nice touch... but its lipstick... Estimates are off and insurance suggestions are moot. Look around.
