Gary and Loren have scoured the Midwest (and probably farther) to bring a unique collection of…read moreantiques to Albia, Iowa. I have always been amazed at the pieces - especially the vintage clothing. Since my last visit, they have opened Antiques and More Consignments at the opposite end of the block in the Love building. The restoration of the building, inside and out, is amazing. I fell in love with a large stain glass piece in the font window - but 'lo - it won't fit into my suitcase.

She carries a line of primitive candles that are poured into mason jars, wrapped with burlap, and smell amazing. I purchased a gift for my mom during this visit.

These guys are the worst I have done businesses with. I bought coins on auction and paid good…read moremoney. They shipped them in a bubble wrap bag!! over ten sets in a bubble wrap bag sent across the country. Some of the sets were not in their envelopes and the ones that were had both sets stacked together so they could grind against each other all the way to Washington. They couldn't take the time to put the card board sheet that comes with each set between the P and D sets. So if you buy coins from these Morons don't expect them to care about your property after they get your money !!! I cant be the only person that this has happened to. So do fellow coin collecters a favor and write a review if this has happened to you.

She's got a variety of old beer stuff- brewery clocks, mirrored signs, neon signs old mugs and the like. Much of her stuff is old advertising memorabilia that someone seemingly had socked away. My favorite section was the belt buckles- she's got so many different John Deere belt buckles! The toys were lots of fun, and it's more of a memorabilia and nostalgia kinda place than a place to go to pawn your welding gun or torque wrench. It was really a big shop, and it seems that Nancy has the room to pack away a lot more inventory! She even has an area of the shop devoted to giant statues! She's got it all. Unfortunately, I wasn't pawning anything. This looks like a reputable place, not a place to come and "see what you've been missing." I'd be happy to pawn my neon sign here! Parking was easy along the street. Nancy herself was in the shop. She was friendly and welcoming!
