I will admit, I was almost certain that prices would be over the top, but that's not the case at all. The prices were more than reasonable for these original pieces and some made right here in Iowa! I believe the clothes size ranged from newborn to at least toddler, maybe a bit bigger, I didn't inquire. Besides clothes they had other fun gifts as well. I encourage you to support small businesses and this one is a definite must if you have a child or any children in your life.

Staff did not acknowledge our presence or offer to help. All three stayed at the register area discussing their school projects and weekend plans. Customers had to tell one another which dressing rooms were still in use and which were no longer occupied (with all the rejects still hanging in the way of the next shopper). I've never heard Christian music in a clothing store before, and it was taken aback at the effort to indoctrinate retail customers rather than have an environment welcoming all shoppers. We did find a few pieces worth purchasing, and one pair of Italian-made pants that were so awesome I wore them out of the shop.

I always loved walking by the huge stuffed animals in the windows when I lived in Ames! They have classic toys from the 50's, to modern stuff kids today would dig! Great selection of stuffed animals, books, nut crackers, games, toy cars.. you name it they got it! They also do a fantastic job of wrapping those Christmas gifts for the little special ones in your life! I used to be a fan. In fact, in one month recently, I bought almost $1K worth of products…read more Unfortunately, their customer service is awful. An employee helped me to the car with some heavy stuff. In loading my purchases into the trunk, she ripped out the wires to the backup camera. I said immediately to her, "Hey, you just broke my backup camera." She said a quick, "Sorry" and trotted back to the store at closing time. I called in to the management immediately upon getting home. The video apparently told the managers which employee it was. I had to return twice to have two separate managers look at it. I was told that I had to get two estimates for repair--a bit of a hassle, but I did it. Both estimates were hundreds of dollars. The managers offered me a $50 gift certificate. I turned it down. I am shocked that this company has such poor customer service. I will probably have to file in small claims court.
