I have no words to describe how incredible Sandy is!! Our wedding was more than we ever could have dreamed of and my husband and I owe it all to Sandy and Timeless Event Planning. My husband and I live in Seattle, WA and our wedding was in San Diego, CA. Sandy did full coordination for us, which means she did everything. Initially, I never even considered hiring a wedding planner because I thought it would be totally out of our budget. But when we decided to get married out of state, I was so overwhelmed by how much went into planning a wedding. In my search for venues, I came across Timeless Event Planning on Yelp. Every review for Sandy and her team was so amazing, I decided to reach out to her with an anxiety filled email seeking guidance. Immediately upon hearing back from Sandy, I felt at peace and knew that hiring a wedding planner would be worth it. In the end I couldn't be more right. Let me break this review down by all of the positives Sandy provided for us. Budget: Hiring Sandy for full coordination was key to keeping us on track with our budget. She only set up venue viewings at locations she knew wouldn't put us above our budget. There are so many hidden fees that you don't account for when booking a venue. If I didn't have Sandy I know we would have spent thousands more and gone way over our budget. In addition, the amount of money Sandy saved us with her connections, discounts, and insider knowledge was a huge plus! Anxiety: My husband says that he would have happily paid Sandy 4x what she charged because of the amount of anxiety she saved me. I often perseverate on the details and need to do extensive research before I can make a decision. There are so many things that need to be considered when planning a wedding. Having Sandy to just tell me yes let's do this, or no that is not necessary saved me hours of research and unnecessary worry. The people closest to me describe me as Type A and high stress, but Sandy said I was her chillest client. That is because Sandy is such a professional and excels in her field. It was easy for me to let go and to trust her. I knew that she always had our best interest in mind because we had built a relationship with her. She fully understood who we were as a couple and she could see our wedding vision clearly. Leading up to the Wedding: The months leading up to the wedding I was in awe of Sandy's attention to detail and strong communication skills. She was so thorough in coordinating with all 9 vendor teams and finalizing the finishing touches. Two weeks prior to the wedding she led the walk through with all of the vendors so that my husband and I didn't even have to fly down. Sandy even went above and beyond and helped me plan my rehearsal dinner. Wedding Day: Sandy's organizational skills are incredible. She created a detailed timeline so that everyone knew exactly where they needed to be and when. All calls and questions were directed to Sandy that day so I didn't have to worry about anything! The best part of it all is that Sandy and her team set up all of the decor and details the morning of the wedding so that my family didn't have to do anything. My mom and sister were especially thankful for Sandy because it allowed them to be fully present and to just enjoy the wedding. When I arrived at the venue on the day of the wedding I could have spent hours admiring the perfect details Sandy put together. Everything from our table settings to our 1,001 origami cranes was placed with thoughtfulness and intention. The details of our wedding were perfect. Finally, if anything went wrong during our wedding day Sandy must have handled it because I was completely unaware! Sandy did an amazing job with our wedding at San Diego Zoo & Safari Park last month! To be honest, I think she secretly uses a small herd of magical wiener dogs that help her set up, break down, and handle everything because I don't see how one human can possibly take on so much at once. We originally weren't going to use a planner at all, but we are infinitely glad we had Sandy to support us at our wedding. She did everything we asked for down to the tiniest detail (and then some). There were a good handful of things that she had a handle on before it was even a thought in our minds. Sandy was incredible throughout the planning process. I cannot recommend her enough. She made the planning process fun as she clearly has a passion for weddings. During the day of the wedding, she worked with all the vendors and made the plan work flawlessly. A couple of my vendors were a bit challenging to work with and she was able to wrangle them and keep everything on track. Long story short: You need Sandy and Laura. I wasn't planning on hiring a planner - I can do this myself, right? Wrong. Sure, you can find your own vendors and whatnot, if you want. But as the day comes closer and you become a stressed out frazzle, which you will, you want Timeless Event Planning at your side. Every time I got off the phone with these ladies I felt calmer. They gave me spreadsheets and to do lists which let me know when I was on track and when I was falling behind. When, a week before my wedding, one of my vendors started giving me gray hairs, these ladies essentially said "please dont stress. we will handle this vendor from here on out. let us know if you have issues with them again." Although I was in contact with both planners before my wedding, Laura was the one present at my wedding. She was fantastic at wrangling my large bridal party and family at the rehearsal and wedding itself. She was constantly checking in with both of us and my parents too to make sure we were all happy and having a good time. During my reception, the market lights went out for a minute. By the time I realized it had happened, Laura was waist deep in a bush trying to figure out how to get them back on. With a smile on her face the whole time! I could go on and on but I'll stop here. Sandy, and her day-of team, really worked some magic! I was a stressed out bride worried about literally every any any detail that I could. With an outdoor ceremony and reception there were many things that were complicated (wind moving table runners, flowers in the heat, etc) and she took care of everything without my knowing. Sandy is the best! We hired her to help us coordinate our entire wedding. She helped us take care of everything the day of and she made sure we had nothing to worry about. Day of we had a table delivered and she noticed right away it was the wrong color and had our vendor come back to replace it with the correct one. That's just a small example of how thorough she was. Whenever we had any questions at all Sandy was always their to answer them. Sometimes she would respond to emails within 5 minutes! I couldn't have asked for a better planner/coordinator! Extremely disappointing! Do NOT reccommend! Sandy did not show up for the rehearsal, showed up late for the day of the wedding wearing flip flops, stretch pants and a sweater. Sandy did not complete several of her tasks that were discussed prior to the wedding: - arch flowers were supposed to be moved to bride and grooms table. Never happened. - Kleenex package and bells were supposed to be placed on guests chairs before arrival. Sandy passed out bells to guests while the sat down-some did not receive them. Personalized Kleenex packages also were not used. - extra table set up of decor was not set up ; she simple had placed the decor on the table with other random pieces ( a lighter, towel, empty vases, box, etc) - gue -Sandy began collecting centerpieces and began cleaning up at 930pm when the event ended at 11pm. Mother of the bride and aunt had to request her to stop cleaning tables until the end of the night. - Outdoor heaters were never turned on. It was 57degrees and guests were cold. - Aunt of bride had to request Sandy to light the arch candles. Her response "did you bring a lighter?" She then went around asking quest for a lighter. -Florist asked for guidance, Sandy asked her to hold on and never assisted her. - Sandy's assistant was unaware of how to set up tables upon arrival. It's was clear they had not communicated set up. -Sandy began loading vehicles without knowing what decor went in which vehicle( lack of communication) vehicle owners had to reorganize items and load decor. - gold chiavari chairs that were rented for the event were not utilized on patio. Sandy told the rental company she did not need them, therefore the chairs did not match the indoor chairs. They were paid for and on the seating plan provided yet she made the decision to turn them away. -Sandy said she and the DJ worked together prior however it was not noticed. Together they should have ensured guests signed in- it could have been announced; they should have announced when the smore bar was open; they should have ensured the quests requests for music that was written on their rsvps, was played. - quests commented on how poorly dressed the coordinator was - two bars were paid for however only one bar was set up. This was brought to Sandy's attention however no change occurred. -not all pieces of the centerpieces were set up (little vintage bottles and antique pieces) - Sandy DID NOT complete very simple tasks that were discussed and agreed upon prior to the wedding date. Many details and purchased items were forgotten and disregarded. Waste of money and extremely disappointing service for a very special day; those details /memories can not be made up- it's very unfortunate and disheartening. read more

Sandy is beyond amazing! She went above and beyond every crazy request I had! She was always a phone, text or email away and very quick with responses. Our day could not have been as perfect as it was, without her! She truly understood my vision and I knew I could fully trust her with setting up the day as I imagined. On the day she was by our side checking in frequently that all was going how we wanted, ensured we had our food first and stayed throughout the night (was important to us). Any request or question we had, she took care of it and made it happen! Wow, where to begin... We met Sandy at the bridal bizarre, and hit it off right from the start. Her personality is wonderful, which I think is so important for a wedding coordinator. She is kind, helpful, and professional, but still fun. We hired her for just the "Day-of Wedding Coordinator," but she was so much more!! Sandy met us multiple times to discuss wedding details, view the venue, and for the rehearsal. She responded quickly to emails, phone calls, and texts. She communicates with venders before and after the wedding. She did her best to follow our timeline and still allow me to change it many times! Very organized, but flexible. During the wedding she oversaw the set-up of tables, decor, and arrivals. My wedding was not supposed to be difficult, but of course things go wrong! Sandy handled everything. My caterers really messed up many things, but Sandy fixed them all! When the table cloths came in too short (no joke, only a foot hanging from the top of the table), she herself called the rental company (hired by our caterer!) to get them to bring back the correct linens. This was a huge disadvantage for her as she could not set up tables, but everything got done somehow by dinner. When the caterers refused to help clean (their responsibility), Sandy literally cleaned up plates and napkins and garbage from our venue so we would not get charged late or cleaning fees. She worked so hard at our wedding, and we are so appreciative. Even after the wedding, she called the rental company and caterers to sort out the mistakes. And everything was done with a smile!
