My wife and I were evaluating several Sarasota-area contractors for a complete kitchen remodel. We began with a shortlist of companies, but as we progressed through the selection process, several were eliminated for various reasons. We discovered Royal Remodeling & Design through a Google search and decided to stop by their Main Street showroom without an appointment. From the moment we walked in, Stan welcomed us as though we were repeat customers. He spent nearly an hour answering our questions, discussing our project, and helping us understand the remodeling process. We told him ours was not a large kitchen, although we wanted a complete renovation. Stan assured us no job was too small for them. By the end of that meeting, we had scheduled a visit to our condo for Stan to see it first-hand. After seeing our existing kitchen, Stan developed an initial design for us to review. We requested several changes that differed from his original vision. Rather than trying to persuade us otherwise, Stan emphasized that it was our kitchen and that we were the ones who would be living with it. His philosophy was simple: he would design and build the kitchen that best suited our needs and preferences. We found that approach very reassuring.
