Time Zone came from Australia. It's this franchise of arcades that use a card system instead of a token system. I think that the people who franchised it here decided that this would be better since replacing the tokens of typical arcade machines would've been more expensive hence the more expensive long term upkeep.
The Time Zone in Alabang Town Center is special to me as is the case with a lot of people who grew up in the south. Back when Dance Dance Revolution was all the rage, people lined up to play the game here. This was also the arcade for miles around that usually had the newest games available.
I for one preferred the gun games like Time Crisis or Silent Scope. Those were the good old days. Another draw of Time Zone is that it's an excellent place for couples. A lot of the old games involved two players like this game where a couple had to paddle their way through rapids to clear a stage.
I'm not sure what new games were added to their collection since I haven't gone their for the longest time, but I'm sure it's still an exciting place to go to given that it's still standing. read more
