So in love with this tattoo shop! The staff is so friendly and fun! Felt very comfortable. Getting ready to get started with Loach.

Amazingly talented and friendly people! loach did an awesome job with my tattoo, he was cheering me on when I was ready to call it quits. An amazing experience. Clean, professional, and fun. 10/10 would recommend

I can't say enough great things about my experience with the folks at Time Bomb. From the easy to fill out inquiry form to the quick responses from the friendly and helpful staff who manage the shop to the actual experience of getting tattooed by Chris - everything was fantastic. I've been wanting to get this Coheed and Cambria inspired tattoo for a while, and Chris came up with a design that exceeded my expectations. On top of all that, the shop itself was super rad with its sideshow-like decor, and the comfort, health, and safety of everyone there was put in the forefront. Extra props for having temporary tattoos that I was able to bring home to my kids :-)

I've never had an artist like Makoto that truly cared and took the time out to make sure I was comfortable. Makoto did a piece of my aunt that loved to play and teach Tennis but passed sue to stage 4 lung cancer and knowing that someone as caring and kind as Makoto did my piece meant that world. I hope they see this. You've a new customer! The consultation is online via email, they take ALL necessary precautions because of COVID. Temp check, sanitize your keys phone and etc and wash hands. Everyone wears a mask.

From my very first email inquiry, straight through to my tattoo, my experience was exceptional. The staff eased communication between myself and Makoto so that I was able to easily submit my ideas and wishes, which Makoto then carefully worked into the design I dreamt about. The session itself was an intense (for me) 5ish hours, but a reflection of their seriousness and intensity as an artist. They took care to check in often on my thoughts on progress and adjustments, but truly, I felt so comfortable and confident in the artist's skill and comprehension of my intent that I think I left all decisions to them. The final result, though not finished, is exquisite line work and the boldness and movement that I most wanted. I can't wait to go back ASAP to add my final touches and color to the rail feathers.

    Things just got weird....

Whether you're getting tattooed or pierced here or not, if you're into oddities, a stop by while in the area I feel is one you're going to want to make. They have the craziest collection of all sorts of curiosities with a heavy focus on double-headed animals. They are all for sale and come with a unique story of origin the kind girl behind the counter was willing to give us. The way they had these animals dressed was so unique and quite humorous! They also have some ladies accessories like Ouija board purses and jewelry of all kinds. They have kitschy grab and go items such as tattoo greeting cards as well. My two little girls and I didn't feel like outcasts coming in and just checking out the front of house as if it were a museum. The staff were all very warm and welcoming. *Quarter meter parking out front.

Makoto did an AWESOME job on my tattoo. I gave them a picture of something similar to what I would want, and Makoto did not disappoint with their sketch. All the staff I met were kind and professional (: If I didn't live in California, I would never go to any other tattoo shop.

    Pineapple done by Colin
    Meagan P.

I had a great experience with Time Bomb's tattoo artist, Colin. My friend and I wanted a simple pineapple tattoo about 2 inches in length. Colin sat down with us and sketched it exactly how we pictured it, and then proceeded to get to work. He was very detail oriented and focused, but also friendly and sociable the entire time. His easy-going personality made the process a lot more bearable. A month or two after the initial tattoo was finished (by the way, it turned out great!), I did notice that it could use just a slight touch-up with some of the green ink. Colin was happy to touch it up free of charge and he was just as excellent the second time around. Although I only got a small piece of work done, I would absolutely recommend him for any large pieces you are considering. The overall service of Time Bomb was also impressive. Best customer service I've seen in a tattoo shop.

My daughter went for a cartilage piercing. Staff was courteous, professional, and gave her good information on caring for her piercing.

The quality of the tattoo itself met my expectations. My concern is with the pricing and communication process. Before the appointment, I paid a $300 deposit. The tattoo session lasted approximately four hours, but at no point before the work began was I given a total price or estimate for the sleeve. After the tattoo was completed, I was informed that the total price for the tattoo would be $5,000. We discussed the lack of upfront pricing, the amount was reduced, and we ultimately resolved the matter with a final total payment of $3,300. My issue is not the final amount we ultimately agreed upon. My concern is that the total cost was never disclosed before the tattoo began. Learning the price only after the work was complete put me in a very uncomfortable position because I no longer had the opportunity to decide whether I wanted to move forward at that cost. I believe customers should always receive a clear estimate or total price before any work begins, especially for projects that cost several thousand dollars. If the pricing had been discussed upfront, I could have made an informed decision before committing to the tattoo. I'm sharing my experience so future clients understand the importance of discussing pricing in detail before the tattoo starts. I hope this feedback encourages clearer communication and pricing transparency going forward.

When I arrived I was told the lead piercer was no longer in and I could not be seen by him. I was disappointed since I was not notified prior to coming in, but the apprentice expressed she could do it for $15. It was my birthday, so I was determined to get it pierced... The apprentice asked which ring I preferred and I expressed the smaller one since I have a smaller nose. The apprentice did not feel in my nose prior to piercing and then pierced my nose....she immediately said she missed and it was lopsided. I debated leaving as is because the pain was so bad , but she said she wouldn't be able to live with herself if I left with a lopsided piercing, she took out the jewelry and pierced my nose again, but this time hurt way more. I immediately felt like passing out and throwing up. She wasn't sure how to react and seemed scared. After finally receiving water and catching my breath and paid (and tipped) for my very much $15 worthy piercing - I left. Although it was not ideal, I did pay for what I got... so I thought. A few months later I went into another shop that had jewelry so I could exchange my ring. The piercer at this other location was MORTIFIED. She said the piercing was done incorrectly and would rip my cartilage of not taken out. She advised me to return to where I got pierced and give the lead piercer a chance to fix it. I returned to Snakeman's and the apprentice greeted me. I reminded her I was and expressed what the other piercer told me. As I was telling her, the lead piercer (who I am assuming is Snakeman/owner) and he asked what happened. I told him everything I just typed and immediately it was my fault. He didn't say sorry and started saying it probably occurred when I flipped my piercing, changing my jewelry too soon, and allergies. I expressed that I had done none of those things or have allergies. He then told me the piercer from the other location was being dramatic and told me it was my choice what to do next. I told him I understood that my cartilage probably wouldn't tear, but my nose was clearly was rejecting the piercing due to being done incorrectly twice. He told the apprentice to take out and told me that next time not to focus on what jewelry was "cuter." (Mind you, I was not informed that a smaller ring would do this) It made me believe what occurred was my fault. He never apologized (nor did she) once. I thought they would say sorry or maybe offer to redo my nose once it was healed. Obviously, I know I got what I paid for (a septum for $15) but to not apologize or to take some credibility was hurtful.
