Great service. I went in to buy a watch for a birthday gift and the staff was courteous and very helpful. I would definitely go back again.

That was Hamilton Jewelers, and to my surprise it was a Ms. Cassandra McBride who was their Rolex liaison, located in their main Store in Princeton, New Jersey. I followed up with a phone call to her , at the Princeton NJ location It was a very delightful and informative experience . Ms. McBride reviewed my information and explained to me , all the great details about the watch and it's current market availability , but assured that my interest in the watch would be noted and would keep me informed. I told her I frequently visit New Jersey several times a year. On, one trip I went to the store and personally introduced myself to her, had a very nice informative and friendly conversation with her, a very nice customer service experience . I would during the 18 months, text her to reaffirm my interest, and she would always reply quickly , reassuring me, and expressing hope for good news in the future. On December 3,2025, she texted me. And asked if I was still interested in the SS Submariner Date, ironically I was in New Jersey for a social event. I called her back , and reaffirmed my interest, and we laughed that I was in New Jersey. She said she hoped to have good news in the upcoming year. The next day she called and to my surprise said the watch was available. I was ecstatic, we made plans for me to come to their Hamilton Jewelers store in Princeton on the 5th of December. At that time she made me a wonderful presentation of the watch, explaining all the details. It was like Christmas with an old friend. My dealings with Ms. McBride and the Staff at Hamilton Jewelers, was a wonderful experience. The Extraordinary Customer Service, I experienced with Ms. McBride and Hamilton Jewelers, is very rare these days, and I will not forget it.

While the staff is courteous and the store is well maintained, access to desirable Rolex models is clearly tied to prior spending on unrelated items rather than genuine brand loyalty or expressed interest. This expectation is neither transparent nor consistently communicated, leaving customers to guess how much they need to spend before being "considered." For an authorized dealer representing a brand like Rolex, this practice feels exclusionary and undermines trust. I recognize that demand exceeds supply, but using vague spending thresholds instead of a clear, equitable allocation process creates a poor customer experience. Greater honesty and fairness would significantly improve confidence in this store. *Update: Thank you for taking the time to call and explain your Rolex allocation process. I understand how allocations work, however my review reflects my personal experience as a customer, including communication and overall transparency during the process. It was written honestly and without malice. At this time, I don't feel it would be appropriate to remove the review unless my experience itself meaningfully changes. I hope you can understand my position. I do appreciate you reaching out and wish you and your team the best moving forward.

We had initially worked with Alena to get my engagement ring, which had belonged to my grandmother, restored. When it was time to look for a wedding band, I knew I had to visit her again. I left the store simply over the moon with my vintage ring, which was not only gorgeous, but priced fairly. We will be lifelong customers of H1912 and Hamilton!

A cute redhead sized us up causally-spotting Nancy's JL Reverso watch immediately-and knew we could be buyers! She's been jonesing for a Cape Cod 'double tour' watch for a while, and while I generally save Hermes gifts for Xmas/birthdays I hadn't pulled the trigger on a watch yet. Lo and behold, they had several in one of the showcases. Jo, the redhead, walked us through trying on several of the watches-and Nancy really liked the Cape Cod on the double wrap blue strap. H1912 were well priced on the piece anyway (never worn, strap 100% perfect, caseback never touched since it left the factory-original Hermes battery date sticker, casing screws perfect) yet did give us a small accommodation on the already discounted price. Box, no papers, but they also added a second year to the warranty. A few minutes later and we were back on Nassau Street, Nancy happy, Damian's wallet a bit lighter! She bought lunch, though! H1912-the goods are well selected and high quality, prices fair, staff (at least the gal, Jo, we dealt with) knowledgeable-I recommend it.

Recently, I brought in my old diamond engagement ring that I felt needed a new setting. Marlene took what was once a blah piece of jewelry and turned it into the most extraordinary ring I've ever owned. I was pleasantly surprised with the price and blown away with the quality of work. Yes, it took a few weeks to get my 'new' ring, but worth every minute that this lovely, friendly woman put into making my dream ring happen. Highly recommend this local jeweler. It's a gem....pun intended

Can of hairspray in her grey hair, black and silver glitter polish on her ridiculously long nails, the most uncomfy looking fake eyelashes ever. She looked like the world's coolest, most over the top grandma, or like a cross between Joan Rivers and Cruella DeVille. I was looking for a gift for a friend and I told her I don't want to spend more than $50. She showed me several pieces that were exactly $50 and a few that were $60 to $65. That's exactly what she should have done! That's what you would do too, right, as you know these self-imposed price caps are somewhat arbitrary? I bought a nifty bracelet with an adjustable chain thingy for just over $60. She wrapped it beautifully in a box with a fancy bow. Marlene of Marlowe's is cool, she's old school and no nonsense and her look is unique and it's so un-Princeton, where everyone looks perfect and constrained and conformist. I would like to find other occasions to shop here to support this little shop.
