We recently had our kitchen countertops and backsplash installed and were extremely impressed with…read morethe entire experience. The team was responsive, professional, and easy to work with throughout the process. The craftsmanship was exceptional -- from perfectly aligned seams to a flawless waterfall edge and apron sink detail. The quality, precision, and overall care put into the installation truly exceeded our expectations. We're thrilled with the results and highly recommend this company for anyone looking for beautiful, well-executed stonework.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Northwest Granite has been extremely…read moredisappointing from start to finish. Communication was awful at every level. Any time I raised concerns with the project managers, they were quick to blame me for delays and became defensive and aggressive instead of listening. At no point did anyone take ownership of the issues I was experiencing--I felt constantly questioned, doubted, and talked down to. The demolition crew that removed my old countertops was careless and unprofessional. They never put down any protection on my brand-new floors, and while breaking apart the old stone they crushed pieces of countertop into the flooring, damaging several areas. They also punched a hole in a wall I had just repaired and said nothing--no acknowledgment, no apology, just left it for me to find later. On top of that, they left sharp broken pieces of stone inside the cabinets, on the floors, in adjoining rooms, and even in the driveway. It felt like a rushed job with zero regard for housekeeping, safety, or respect for my home. When it came time to measure for the new countertop, they incorrectly measured the area next to the refrigerator. The new top was cut too wide and is now pushing the cabinet panel out, leaving about a 1/4" gap. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they tried to blame me--saying it was already like that or that the cabinet panel was warped--and spoke to me as if I couldn't see the obvious issue. I waited weeks to hear what the next steps would be, but no one followed up. I always had to call or show up in person to get any kind of response from project managers or sales. The finished product is also poor quality. The seam is bad enough that I can catch a fingernail on it, and the edge looks rough and under-polished. Overall, this feels like a "fast and cheap" operation geared toward large apartment jobs or quick flips--not homeowners who care about quality and detail. If you value craftsmanship, clear communication, and simply getting what you paid for without having to fight for it, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. I regret giving them my business, and by the end I was just willing to accept whatever got me out of dealing with them any longer. I would not recommend Northwest Granite to anyone.

(Something like Huntwood, Homedepot, or Lowes, just better service) Mostly use their custom cabinets because the price is competitive and so many more options. Custom colors or matching existing colors (often too expensive or just not done elsewhere) is never a problem. Family owned, they really work hard to make sure my clients are happy, which makes me very happy!

John Freeze cabinets are simply amazing. I had priced several different companies including one…read morewholesaler and one well-known home improvement store, and Freeze cabinets were easily the far better option both for price but especially for quality. FMI completed cabinets for my entire house in less time than anticipated, and despite a very busy schedule, immediately fixed several small things that came up. They are responsive, helpful with suggestions, accommodating, and so easy to work with. One thing that stood out was how with the other manufacturers, I would spend two hours discussing options and leave feeling like I neither learned nor resolved anything. In meetings with John Freeze, I never needed more than an hour and would always leave feeling like we had made tons of progress. John made the entire process easy for what can be an intimidating series of choices when building (or renovating) a home. I would easily recommend him.
