Of all the tree services in my area that I called to get an estimate to remove a very large tree…read morefrom my back yard, LA Disaster Relief was the only one that came, gave me an estimate, and removed the tree. The others said they would come but didn't. One came, looked and said he would get an estimate to me...I'm still waiting for that estimate, plus the other services to even show up! LA Relief came the day they said they would, gave me an estimate, explained they had a large job to do so it would be about a week or so before the could come do the job. It was nine business days between the estimate and when they came to do the job. The tree was not easy to get to so it could be removed. I have a fenced yard with only one way to get into the yard, it is not large enough for the truck. The crew removed panels of my fence and one of the posts so they could get the bucket truck closer to the tree. They had the tree down in about six hours. The removal included large limbs near main power lines, over a shed, and one that could hit the house as well as take down the power lines running from the pole to the house if not removed properly. All those limbs were taken down without them hitting anything but the ground. Before they left after taking the tree down, they made sure that the yard was as usable as possible until they could come back the next day to move the tree to the front of the house and take it from there. After the debris was moved to the front, the crew made sure that the back yard was raked and didn't have any holes that were caused by the work. It had been a very wet couple of weeks before they came to do the work and the ground was very wet. Some grass was 'torn up' due to the extremely wet ground but they made sure that it was put back to the best condition possible. The fence panels that were removed were put back in the same condition as when it was taken down and that included digging a hole to put the post back. The truck came to take the debris away about an hour after the crew was done moving it to the front. Kyle, the own, also came about the same time as the truck that was removing the debris to check how the job was progressing. He walked to the back to check as well as asked me how his crew did with the job. He also grabbed a rake to clean up the small debris that the 'picker' couldn't grab. The front of my yard was left in the same condition as before they moved the tree debris to it. NO PAYMENT WAS REQUESTED BEFORE THE JOB WAS STARTED! I paid for the job in full when it was completed, which was after all the debris was removed. The price was very reasonable considering where the tree was and the amount of work involved. I fully recommend this service. They did a great job!

They also agreed to cut the logs into manageable pieces so we could remove them without equipment. The did cut the tree but left the trunk cut into but not through. It was still whole and many very large logs. So my first problem was they didn't cut the tree up in manageable pieces like we agreed too. They came back on July 27th 2018 to grind the stump away. And did so. I asked if they would finish cutting the logs so we can dispose of them and Michael Wilkes said it would be easier for them to bring their claw truck and pick them up instead of cutting them. So we agreed on a price and I paid them additional money for the stump grinding $75.00 and the pick up of the stuff that wasn't cut up for $50.00, $125.00 total cash. They were supposed to come back before the weekend and They never came back or returned any of my calls. I've left many messages. Today is August 13, 2018 and I'm still waiting. We paid them a total of $625.00 for an incomplete job. Mean while my sod is dying because of the logs that are left.

2 Men And A Tree - A tree service company (My review: Being…read moreposted at various sites) INITIAL ESTIMATE DATE: I met with Aubrey in Clearwater after giving him a rough description of what I was looking for job-wise over the phone. He and I did a walk-around on the property as I quickly explained what I would like to see done. He continued to survey the job and wrote me an estimate. Before leaving he went around one more time and, in detail, explained what he could do to give the most curb appeal to the home. I want to note that I felt that the price quoted was quite satisfactory for the tasks performed. PATIENCE: I had some unforseen medical issues arise personally and also with a family member. This saw an unfortunate delay to initiating my desired project. These guys understood my situation and weren't intrusive. I liked that aspect. It was apreciated that I had time to heal and get things right with my family first. HIRED: The guys came out to the site and worked it to beyond expectations. I didn't hound them or oversee all operations. I let them do their thing... it is what they do... and they do it well. AFTERMATH: Here it is, less than 24 hours after the service was rendered and I have already had neighbors call and compliment the visual improvement to the property. I will recommend them to others based on their work ethic. I truly felt that the property was tended to as if it was their own. This defines reason that I chose 2 Men And A Tree over the others. The extra mile that they included in their quote was obvious at the end of the day. What they did in a single session would have easily taken me many times that... plus the hauling away of pre-existing debris extended the value of the deal (f,urthermore I would have had to rent a pick-up or U-haul truck). THE BOTTOM LINE: I look forward to continuing contractor-customer relations with them in the future. Thank you gentlemen! 2 Men And A Truck (813) 567-9349 Holiday, FL
