I want to update my review noting that after a very traumatic experience at Mason Dixon ER, I returned to Timberview for a follow-up. Dr. Sara was beyond wonderful! She explained all the findings of the tests the day prior and explained options of medication for my dog. The ER wanted me to put her down right then and there, stating she would not make it through the night. Here we are a day later, and my dog is still here. Dr. Sara found issues that a previous vet should have found, and now that everything has been noted, we are taking a path of medication with hopes that the dog can have some more time in her life. I am so grateful that I did not listen to the ER staff and put her down. I went with my heart, which told me that it was not the time to do that! read more

I called on Friday because I got new puppies who had been treated there to make an appointment for their shots. the first available appointment was July. I was ask to put a deposit down due to many cancellations or no shows, which I did. Since, I didn't want the puppies to wait so long between their vaccinations, I called my vet this morning. They are able to get us on next week. I called this morning to cancel the appointment and was told it may be too late to get my deposit back. Then I was told it would be given to the manager and may take some time to process. I have called a full 2months before their appointment and expect my refund. After this I would not recommend them, not if they treat new patients this way. Puppies can't wait 2 months between vaccines. read more

If I could give a negative score I would. I have been going here for quite some time. Several years. I've never felt great or overly impressed. I should have switched vets a long time ago. My heart and gut told me to but life is busy and I try to be understanding of how tough it must be to run a business involving people and their pets. I made a decision to say goodbye my little elderly dog Bunky. He was fading fast, suffering.I couldn't get an appointment for two days out on a Saturday, which they require a deposit. So many things at play. Gotta get paid, get off work, beg for an appointment. I called and called each day hoping someone might have canceled so we could be seen sooner. The level of compassion, care or concern was so minimal I felt sick even speaking to them. Appalling. I became so distraught and desperate I called several vets. Trying to be seen sooner. Automated message, after message. After refusing to leave a message. I tried Boiling Springs. A person actually answered. Now I have never been a client of Boiling Springs but they had us come right in. Waiting room was full. They took us back to a peaceful room. Never made me feel like I was a bother. Treated us with the most kindness, dignity and respect. It restored my faith a little. I was broken. I was broken from the treatment Timberview showed me. Broken to say goodbye to my friend. My heart hurts from the experience. Saying goodbye. It's really hard. Timberview does NOT care about you or your pet. You are a dollar sign. That's it...bottom line. So to add insult to injury after saying goodbye to Bunky. I called to cancel my appointment. A day in advance. They fought with me about returning my deposit. That was supposed to be 50 dollars. But I checked and they took 80. I'm not sure if it any of it will be returned. I can't speak to them again or they will hear a side of me I won't be proud of. I'm done. I hope that if you read this review will will go elsewhere. My heart tried to warn me. I didn't listen. Stay away. You won't be impressed. Bunky and I promise you that. Just don't do it m. Great service. Kind and caring doctors and staff. They make my dog feel at ease there. You can tell she is much more relaxed at their office, in their waiting room, in the exam room... a much more pleasant experience and environment for her!! I've been a customer of Timberview for over twenty years, we called to find out how much it would cost to have a kitten declawed, the woman could not have been more rude. If you don't believe in the practice of removing the claws then don't do it. Don't get an attitude when asked the price for a service you provide. It seems charging $600-800 eases your conscious because other less judgmental vet's only charge $150 to $200. Won't be going back to Timberview. read more

My most cherished dog Mae was attacked by a neighbors dog. I immediately called Timber View late in the afternoon and they took us on the spot. After examining our pet we formed a plan and Doctor Sara went into surgery. The staff was wonderful and caring in the most sincere manor working after hours without a sign of inconvenience. We now have a normal healthy Doberman back at home Thanks to Dr. Sara and her professional staff!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!! read more

I'm very happy with Dr Sara. I have not met Dr. Shoey yet. I have 2 shar pei and Dr. Sara is great with them both. My female had bloat in the past before I began going to Timber View. She had to have her teeth cleaned and Dr. Sara took steps to make sure my dog wasn't over stressed during this procedure by letting me be with her when she was sedated and when she was waking up (they called me at home to come back in). I've been in the treatment room when ever possible and I like seeing what's happening in lieu of sitting and waiting to get my dog back. I can help keep them calm. The staff is great too! I think Dr. Sara went above and beyond to learn more about shar pei because they have specific health issues and she helps me obtain the medication I need from a 3rd party. read more

John Hamaker Jr. Rest In Peace!November 23 well the day i had been dreading finally came this morning. i lost my best friend. i walked down the steps to notice my babygirl had passed away in her sleep. to think i'm somewhat glad she passed in her sleep makes me feel terrible, but i know she's not in any pain anymore and that's good. don't get me wrong i would still love to have her back, she was and still is my world. she's up in heaven where it's a better place. you have given me 8 years of happiness and i won't forget you. i promise. dogs have a way of finding the people who need them and filling an emptiness we didn't know we even had. i love you so much babygirl. i know you've been sick for awhile, but i thought the medicine would help. we took you to the doctors yesterday and they said you were better. i'm just happy your not in pain, but the doctors didn't know shit if you ask me they just want money, either wise you'd still be here laying next to me. we just got done saying goodbye and barring you, it was harder than you could imagine. you were such a good, loving, loyal dog that would have done anything for us. i know you'll be happy with your green football toy, you little pink dog, and your blanket. i love you so much snowflake. i will miss you dearly. i'm not mad at you. I've never actually received services here, but when I had to put my dog down on a Sunday, the staff at Timber View could not have been more wonderful. My regular vet was not open, and the local emergency vet center was going to take hours. I called Timber View and while there was not a vet available that particular Sunday, the receptionist called another practice and took care of everything so that I could take my dog right in to the other location without any hassle. I think that says a lot about a business that would do that for someone who has never been a customer there. read more

This is an update since my previous review. Fritzi had an acute illness for which I called the answering service & Dr Sara returned my call quickly. I have since had both of my cats (Fritzi & Ginger) to see Dr Sara. Both for urgent visits & for routine visits.The moment you walk in to this facility, you know you are in great hands. From the receptionist all the way up to Dr Sara, caring & concern are evident. I would not go anywhere else. read more

I recently took my four cats to Timberview Vet. It was a great experience. From the receptionist to the tech to the Doc it was very warm and welcome. Before the visit Mike went over all the fees so you were aware of what the charges would be. The one cat needs some special treatment and we were given an estimate with no pressure to have it done.
