History

Established in 2002.

Timber Tree Service is owned and operated by Ed Stratton, a self-taught arborist with more than 35 years' experience. He started in the tree industry at the age of 14 years old. He later obtained his arborist license. Continuing to work in the tree industry he at the age of 21 started up his very first tree service business servicing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts areas. Before making the move to Alaska he sold his well-established business to one of his employees in Maine, which is still in operation today. 2002 is when he and his family moved up to Alaska, where he has always wanted to call home. Not too long after being here they made a family decision to start another tree service business in the Matanuska Valley which has become well known as Timber Tree Service.
