While on a visit to Pennsylvania, a friend brought me to this gem of a shoppe. From the moment you…read morewalk in, you feel at home. I was greeted by the owner, Sherri, who is a wonderful soul. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and very welcoming. The shoppe itself has something for everyone. It's set up beautifully and there are little surprises everywhere you look. As if that wasn't enough, there are beautiful treatment rooms for massage, crystal healing, reiki, etc. Another separate large room has the shoppe being able to offer classes on various subjects. There is plenty of parking, which is absolutely a fabulous bonus. I've been to similar shoppes around the country, but I have to say the Tree of Life Shoppe is the most diverse with their products and most welcoming. Sherri is happy to ship if you are not local or if you prefer to shop from home. (Fabulous website!) Now that I have moved to the area, I am so happy to be able to visit the Shoppe on a more regular basis. Thank you Sherri for the hospitality and sharing this gift with us all.

This shop is great. I am new to purchasing crystals. I went in with a list of what I wanted and…read morethey had every single one with little cards saying what each does. The store has so many amazing items. We took time to look at every display. The owners are also very kind. We will definitely be back soon!

I am sure the classes are good, if only I was able to get there. So I was visiting from out of…read moretown, and booked a class with this studio on the MINDBODY app. I followed the directions of Google Map to try to get to the studio (518 Mill Street). However, Google Map led me to a building where there were no yoga studios. It took me a few minutes and asking around to figure out that the studio was down the street (the street numbers must have shifted on this street). When I finally reached the studio, the class was already in session and the studio was locked. So I did not get to go to the class. I called the business number listed on MINDBODY (both before and after the class start time), the number was either invalid or unreachable. Then afterwards I called the number listed under the business on google, it went to voicemail. I left a message and asked for a call back, but no one called me back. The studio looks really nice from outside. I really wish I had been able to take that class. But I think the business is somewhat responsible for making sure customers can find them, and when confusion occurred, they should be responsible for closed loop communication. I ended up doing yoga with a YouTube video in my hotel room. ADDENDUM: the business reached out to me via email and offered a refund. I guess they now just need to contact google maps to update their location.

Let me just PREFACE: I have been to yoga classes with instructors that would leave much to be…read moredesired - would chat about their children or upcoming trip to OBX with their students IN CLASS, countdown to savaasana (don't we all? But what about the rest of the class culminating up to savaasana?), or would treat someone that passed gas during downward dog as some kind of rude anathema, just unprofessional overall. It's no wonder I hesitated a bit before finding another yoga studio in NEPA. I would resort to doing yoga at home. By the way, Tara Stiles is fabulous! I started working in Danville not too long after the infancy of this equally fabulous and beautiful yoga studio. Hardwood floors, nice clean and fun vibe, Lululemon yoga mats (Oh, I just get tickled with delight over Lulu!), and knowledgeable, seemingly grounded yoga instructors make this studio a breath of fresh air. There's a variety of classes for your needs...would love to drop in to a rooftop class when it's warmer out. There's a gift shop in the reception area that sells beautiful jewelry made by women in developing countries to clothing and candles. Now if only my budget allowed, I would happily be here more. Until then, Tara Stiles shall do but hey - at least I have been keeping up my weekly practice.
