I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Rodriguez during my pediatrics rotation. She is incredibly kind, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to teaching. She always took the time to guide me, share her knowledge, and create a positive and encouraging learning environment. Dr. Rodriguez is highly professional, passionate about her work, and truly cares for her young patients. Her patience and compassion with children are remarkable, and it is clear that she genuinely loves what she does. I strongly believe that she is one of the physicians you can fully trust to provide the highest level of care for your children. The entire staff is also very professional and welcoming. It was truly an honor to work with such a dedicated team. Rafy, the manager, is very organized and has created a structured, professional, and efficient environment within the clinic. Love Dr Rodriguez. She has been my kid's physician for years. She is the only doctor that has taken the time to and helped my daughter.

Our first visit to the office was absolutely awesome. Everyone was so very helpful and hands-on. They walked us through the process of filling out the application online which made it very smooth. Dr. Austria Rodriquez is such a sweet heart and such a great doctor. It's a shame the facility doesn't match. The front desk ladies are a little spicy with the way they talk and they can be rude/unhelpful. Also every time I went for my baby's appointments they took about 1hr 30min to 2hrs from my appointment time. Most of it is spent with me waiting in that tiny room and my baby would start getting super fussy and impatient. The nurse lady who helped was kind but wow she is so slow at giving shots!! She was so slow she lightly scratched my baby's leg with the tip of the needle and always takes her time inserting it in and taking it out. I stopped going because of those reasons. Mostly because the waiting time is unbearable with a baby. I can't be in a tiny room for almost 2 hours every time. read more

Very rude front desk staff. They assumed I didn't speak Spanish and proceeded to say some very nasty things about me and the other mother and child in the waiting room. Not to mention that it takes at LEAST two and a half hours past your appointment time to get out of there, even if you are the only one there. Very disappointing experience! Their front desk staff was very rude, I wish I could give them 0 stars. Very impolite, they have no customer service training at all, not to mention they don't know how to deal or talk to sick children! Maybe today was a bad day for 3 of their staff, they looked to me dissatisfied and unhappy. I brought my daughter in Nov 7th 2019 for an appointment because she was a little sick, opened the door and smiled to the receptionist, she looked at me and totally ignored my smile, I was like, wow, maybe she is having a bad day? Ok! I approached the table and said GOOD AFTERNOON, again was ignored! She gave me paper work to fill in and my daughter grabbed the FLOWER pen and started playing with it, she told me to please be careful with the pen because it was the only one they had, (it is not what she said, but the way she said and looked at my 3 years old), I gave her the pen back. Then she told me the price of the appointment and I told her I was told another price and her and her team mate team up to say that I was wrong, (almost like I was cheap for saying that) I can`t really put into words because it was really their voice tone and face that made me feel bad, like it was wrong of me to mention that my insurance told me another price, but anyways I paid whatever they asked and while paying for the service my daughter was trying to see through the door because she was very excited to see the doctor, this nurse opens the door and say: please be very careful because somebody can open the door and hurt your daughter (again it is not what she said but how she said). I just felt although this is a children's office, they are not Kids friendly, their staff definitely do not know how to approach kids, our entire time there and we didn't get a smile, I was shocked. After waiting a little while we were called by the same "mad" nurse, it looked like she didn't like to work there or with kids, couldn't tell what, she measured my daughter and we were taken to another room to wait for doctor Rodriguez, who is a sweet heart. Very nice and friendly she was the only good part of the experience :-) I wish I could give her 5 stars. I hope this review serves the purpose to get her front desk staff to be more kind, CHEERFUL and friendly. In the end I was not given a paper with my daughter measures or weight, like other places do, I was going to ask the lady in the front desk, but her: "is there anything else you need" was so rude, (again is not what she said but how) that I just decide to leave very fast, this place made me feel very uneasy! UPDATE: I took my daughter to the pediatrician due to a severe eczema with blisters, swelling and spreading everywhere to the point she couldn't walk. Dr. RODRIGUEZ sent me to the EMERGENCY ROOM and it ended up being worse than what we thought. It was a potentially LIFE THREATENING VIRAL SUPERINFECTION that can spread quickly and had to be treated ASAP. Fast forward the EMERGENCY told me I have to see my doctor in 48 hours and that they must take me since they needed an update and paper work to test her for allergies if not I would have to return to the emergency if she wasn't doing better and flush her blood system. I called and the front desk denied me the appointment until the following week. The secretary was very rude and did not care to consider the severity of this situation. She refused to connect me with the doctor as well as to communicate this information to the doctor to see if she can escalate my appointment. I understand it was short notice but it was truly an emergency. I sincerely hope people choose their doctor carefully so this doesn't happen to anyone else. I ultimately decided to call the POLICE for help because this wasn't getting anywhere. A man I've never seen before came out of the doctor's office and claimed he's the OWNER. He denied my appointment and said I can never take my kids there and filed a restraining order. It shocks me that the "owner" of a pediatric office didn't ask me questions on what happened, didn't apologize or try to understand my frustration. This office is a A JOKE OF A FACILITY! I have been taking all three of my kids to see Dr. Austria Rodriguez at Timber Creek Pediatrics since they were born. Let me start off by saying that it pains me greatly that we are going to have to find another pedictrician for the children because of the way both myself and my family have been treated by her office manager "Marie" and the rest of her staff. On my daughter's six month anniversary we did what all parents due and scheduled her six month shots and wellness check. My husband arrived a half hour early because I advised him that sometimes at these appointments if you come in early you might get to be seen early. This was not the case. He spent a total of three hours in their office, most of which was waiting in the exam room with nobody looking in on him or updating him as to why they were so tardy with his appointment. At the very end of the appointment the make doctor Dr. Rodriguez hired came in and informed my husband that their office did not have the vaccines we required for her six month immunization and that there was a nationwide shortage. That means his staff including their office manager was aware of that and did not bother to alert him of that information when he walked in intially. Essentially they weighed her and got her measurements and there he sat for three hours. A week later I called to their office to set up a follow up appointment because he was unwilling to wait any longer for them to schedule it while he was there. I called the lady upfront at the desk and after she put us on the schedule I told her what happened when we were in there last and to make sure that this time when we came down the vaccines were ready. She apologized profusely, stated she wasnt working the day he was in there (2/24/17) and she would make sure we didnt have to wait long on our follow up appointment. Today was the follow up appointment, and we were there an additional two hours. My other two kids were in the exam room with me and the baby waiting again.........My son needed to use the restroom and so i cracked the door open to let him out and get some fresh air and the office manager came by and slammed the door shut so hard my hair literally blew back and my baby jolted up and screamed. When I opened the door she was standing at the front of the hallway and said "Someone will be right with you" as rudely as possible. I told her my son was using the restroom and that we had already spent two hours here and this was our follow up visit to another three hour visit a month ago. This is when it got insane: She said and I quote "Nobody has ever been made to wait three hours for a visit before". I told her I personally have been here on several occasions as well as my husband where we were made to wait anywhere between 2-3 hours for ONE child to be seen. I said mt husband signed in when he came in the last time. She asked my daughters name, I told her, then she came back to the exam room and saw that the nurse had FINALLY made it into us with the shots. She excused herself and the moment the nurse left she comes barreling back into the exam room, blocking me from the door and proceeds to tell me that not only the last time we were in the office was for my daughters FOUR month shots but th at she REVIEWED their surveillance tape and it shows my husband in the office from 10-10;42 am so therefor how on earth could he have been there for for three hours? I said "surveillance tape? How would you even to know who to look for, you have NO idea what he looks like!!" Why would you need to pull footage from a month ago when you can pull the sign in sheet for 2/24?? She didnt give me a chance to even place my kid in her carseat.....She was on my tail from the exam room, through the hallway and out the door into the waiting room and was arguing with me not only infront of the other patients but all three of my children. I told her that I didnt appreciate her attitude, that she was extremely unprofessional to even be having this conversation in public view and around children. I told her that her office as well as staff have had lots of reviews on several social media sites calling their long waiting times and attitude in question. She essentially said "Your husband is a liar, novidy is ever made to wait that long. If you dont like three hour wait times to appointments that we dont have the vaccinations to then you can go somewhere else. She told the lady upfront to give me a "Release Form" releasing me of being their patient to which i told her under no circumstances did I agree to that nor request one but that I would like to request a one on one meeting with Dr. Rodriguez and myself and my husband. Loyalty means nothing apparently. You don't need extra manpower to notify your patients that you're out of vaccines, you just need ones that CARE. If you don't want feedback on how to run your office then don't make your decade long patients wait THREE HOURS, make them reschedule because of incompetence. read more

Timber Creek has been my son's pediatrician since he was 7 months old and he is now 9 years old. Dr. Rodriguez is now also the pediatrician for my youngest, now 2 years old. Dr. Rodriguez has been like family to my babies, she has always been there and has listened to my concerns. She addresses the root of the concerns and is not about trial and error. I have taken my kids to other emergency clinics and I have had to come back to Dr. Rodriguez, because as a parent you know when your child was not giving the right diagnosis or something it's just not right. I have stopped wasting my time going to other clinics because to me, there is no other like Dr. Rodriguez. Staff and nurses have always been very nice. read more

This a Pediatrics Office with excellent staff, they are really helpful and passionate with their job, my kids love Dr. Rodríguez and Dr. S as well, The Director is always asking us about what we need and when I call for an appointment I always get a spot for my kids, recommended 100%. Front office is horrible. The office manager could care less about you or your rights as patients. Complain about long wait times and get greeted with your walking papers. What a joke. Dr doesn't even follow up to find out why patients are leaving their practice. This place would benefit from regular surveys from patients. read more

I have been taking my children to this office for sometime; and I absolutely love Dr Rodriguez, she is caring and very understanding. My children love her and they always look forward to going see her. They have great customer service and when I have asked for any documentation or referrals or even a call back I get a quick response, comparing it to other facilities I have contacted or requested anything from. I love that it is a kid friendly environment clean and they always look for ways to make the kids feel better. We always leave with a smile on our faces. Not to mention times I have called for same day appointment they always look for a way to fit us in either the same day or the next day in morning depending on the situation. I can't say enough good things about this practice. Over the last 8 years, I have brought multiple children to Dr Rodriguez as my husband and I are foster parents. I drive an hour to see her because she is so kind and attentive to each and every child. She lets me be a part of my children's healthcare and always listens to my concerns. The staff members are very pleasant and have been wonderful in helping us in any way they can, including assisting with insurance issues that some of our foster children have when they first come into care. The office director has gone above and beyond to help us in any way she can and makes it a point to come greet us every time we come to the office. Dr S is an amazing Dr as well and shows genuine concern for his patients. You won't be disappointed in choosing this practice! read more

I'm not sure what the front desk actually does. Because they don't call to remind you of appointments, they don't call you to inform you of important immunization records you've been waiting on, they don't return your calls when you ask about them either. Everyone has been friendly, but i would rather my children's health come first if I had to choose competence over charm. I'm not sure if it's a management issue or if its staff. read more

The office staff and doctors are fabulous! They are warm, loving, and very cooperative. Dr. Rodriguez and Dr. Schlekeway are extremely knowledgeable and my 4-year-old and 8 month old are always happy to see them. If they ask me questions about my children's development and I'm unsure, they have the cutest ways of assessing my boys and finding out the answer for themselves on the spot. It teaches my husband and I so much from a medical & developmental standpoint. They return my calls if I have any questions promptly and they are loving to my entire family! As long as we live in this area, there's no other place we want to take our children! read more

My kids have seen Dr. Rodriguez for 8 years, ever since we moved to Avalon Park. It used to be going there was a pleasure, a place where you knew you'd get genuine care for your child, a place where you'd be welcomed and you knew that the doctor was listening to you and cared about your concern for your child. Ever since her office moved to their other location, all you get is delayed waiting in a room, no communication whats-so-ever, and a non personal visit where they rush you out the door. I don't mind waiting to be seen if I know the care is going to be there but to wait for hours and then be carted off like a dollar sign, not my thing. I am so beyond done with this place. I highly suggest you find somewhere else to go. read more

I am extremely disappointment with a recent visit my family experienced when they arrived for a medical appointment on August 2, 2016. The events were very frustrating and quite embarrassing. The level of customer support provided by the individual at the front desk was quite possibly the most unprofessional I have witnessed in the past 23+ years. Everyone in the office, including other patients, staff and even the medical professionals cringed with discomfort at the tone of the conversation, and the events which followed. I'm the father of 6 children (ages ranging from 15 to 23), and the grandfather of 1 newborn; I am also a Disabled Veteran, and a current Department of Defense Civilian employee who has excellent Medical Insurance through Blue Cross/Blue Shield Federal. I've also been a patron of Timber Creek Pediatric for over 2 years, in which we've had 4 children serve as patients. We have always paid our copays, and ensured we maintained a $0 balance (That was until a recent clerical error that could have been resolved by simply resubmitting a claim to Medicaid). My wife and daughter arrived to an appointment for my Granddaughter. She was born early May and has been seen by the medical staff on numerous occasions. On her first visit, a couple days after her birth, we accidently provided Timber Creek Pediatrics the wrong insurance information. We thought the baby would be covered under BCBS, but she was not. Instead, she was being covered under Medicaid, which covered her since the day of her birth. By her 2nd appointment all the insurance confusion was corrected, and we were informed that the office would reprocess the 1st claim through Medicaid (we had no balance to worry about). Fast forward a few additional medical appointments, to August 2016. We walked into the office and were refused service until we paid a high $ balance from the first visit. The front desk confirmed that they did NOT reprocess the claim through Medicaid, and also acknowledged that Medicaid would most likely cover that balance, but they still wanted us to front the expense. We were informed that since we initially provided the wrong insurance information, we were responsible for paying the bill in full, and that they would reimburse us the money after they reprocessed the initial claim (note: it has been nearly 3 months since the processing error was identified and it still has not been corrected). Needless to say, we were surprised and not prepared to pay an additional high $ that day (especially after being informed that the original clerical error was being corrected). That's when we simply asked them to please resubmit the claim through Medicaid, or to contact Medicaid via telephone to resolve this issue so that the baby could receive her needed medical attention. That's when the elevated tone and shameful scolding started. So, standing there at the Pediatric Office, with a sick infant, we were being refused service because the office employee did not reprocess the claim to the proper insurance company as they said they would, and instead of taking responsibility for not filing the paperwork properly a couple visits ago, she proceeded to "loudly" blame us for the mishap, attempting to shame us into paying the erroneous bill. At one point my wife, daughter and grandchild were taken to the back to receive the medical attention she needed, but was escorted back out into the lobby, where they were further embarrassed, and further pressured and harassed. By this time, other patients were staring at the show, commenting on how unprofessional and disrespectful the employee was being, and how shocked they were that the office refused to see this sick infant knowing that she had medical coverage for that day. One patron even mouthed the word "Disgraceful". We were NOT late with a payment. We did NOT bounce a check. We did NOT have a history of insufficient funds. We were NOT new patience. And we have a history of being in good standing with the office. But on this day, we were treated disrespectfully; like low class citizens that couldn't afford decent healthcare. It's as if because my grandchild was on Medicaid, she was not deserving of the professional medical care and attention we are accustomed to having under BCBS. If that truly was the reason we were treated so disrespectfully. If my daughter and my grandchild being on Medicaid is the stereotypical reason why they did not get the same professional treatment they would have gotten if this was being processed through BCBS; then this truly is a sad Nation we live in, of which I defended with my life. Let me be clear. The medical staff is excellent! We love the doctors; and it's very obvious that they love children. But the customer service provided by the front office/billing was horrendous, and I can't help but feel that the insurance we carried resulted in a stereotypical reaction by that front office/billing. Now we'll be looking for a new Pediatric Office. read more

Dr. Rodriguez is very compassionate and caring. I have been taking my son to Timber Creek Pediatrics for about ten years now. The wait times are generally not too bad, and the staff is very friendly. I wouldn't want to take my son any where else! read more
