DO NOT purchase a car from Witt Ford!…read more A family member purchased a car for me from Witt Ford end of 2019. A warranty policy was purchased at the time of sale from a third party company. Since we bought the car, it's been in the shop 4 times for the same transmission issue. They pulled my transmission 3 times in one year. This has been a seemingly unfixable issue among other part failures as well. Some examples are coolant leaks, oil leaks, etc. after it was put back together. Fast forward to September of this year when my car broke down while moving across the country. The car was brought to a local and reputable Ford dealership where I live now and was diagnosed. The original transmission issue it was in the shop for over the last 4 years had come up again. The car breaking down was a result of Witt improperly replacing a seal required to be replaced each time the transmission is taken out. Witt refused to take blame for this. Witt replaced genuine Ford parts in December 2021 which automatically come with a 2 year warranty from Ford if they fail. Ford refused to warranty the parts because a seal failed that was reused by Witt in December 2021. The Ford dealership where I live now attempted to get Witt to pay for the repairs and Witt was completely unprofessional and unwilling to assist. When contact was made a week later, The service manager at Witt said he would get in contact with the warranty company with whom we purchased the original policy. This was a lie. This employee kept stringing us along and giving us false hope that my car would be back on the road at little to no cost to us. Ultimately, many attempts were made for Witt to make this issue right. It should have been covered under Ford's policy seeing as the issue was a result of Witt Ford's service team incorrectly reinstalling the transmission (the two parts replaced come with a 2 year warranty from Ford, which should've been covered regardless), or under our third party warranty company which the service manager claimed to try to contact. We ended up having to pay $1,000 for just the labor to diagnose and reassemble as the car wasn't worth what it costs to fix it ($4,500 to repair). Witt Ford should be absolutely ashamed of themselves and I hope you steer clear of purchasing a car from them as they will sell you a car they know will breakdown, "fix" the issue only for it to breakdown months later, and refuse to assist in the biggest time of need.

What did i get a free oil change on my other vehicle, it gets better because that wasn't free. Also had the attempt to fit the ac and e break after then telling me what was wrong with my e break the oil change before that- told me about $70. Well guess what just over $130 later nothing fixed and now I need a whole new ac unit and new rear pads both outrageously priced. Never going back. I don't think the mechanic that was working on it was smart enough to figure it out so they just said it needs to be all new.

We'd been taking our pristine 1999 Dodge Ram V10 4x4 truck to a local mechanic who we had been…read morepleased with up until recently. We brought it in because it had a loud rattling sound coming from the muffler. They fixed it by putting on new generic catalytic converters because Dodge no longer makes them for our model. On the way home, I noticed that the speedometer wasn't working at low RPMs, and a ABS brake warning light had come on and wouldn't go off. Returning the truck to the mechanic, they said the truck needed a new $600 part in the control panel, but they were having trouble finding it. Several weeks went by while our truck sat at home, not being driven. When I inquired about the part, they said they'd forgotten and would call us when they found it. No calls came after several more weeks went by. We started driving the truck and soon discovered that the rattle was back, louder than ever. Then the engine started choking and almost left my husband stranded. I decided it was time to change mechanics. I read an online review stating that Nadler was the best and that they were very honest. We drove 30 miles from our home in order to try them. What a wonderful experience. They took the time to track down all the problems and fix all of them. The supposed $600 part wasn't what was wrong with the truck. It was a $79 sensor in the back that fixed both the speedometer and brake light issues. The rattle was coming from one of the new catalytic converters. It was broken, most likely damaged during installation. The engine problems were caused by the converters, also. They were only rated for V6 or V8, not a V10 like my truck. The back pressure on the engine was causing a host of problems. Using high-performance parts made for a V10 Dodge Viper, Nadler custom built a new exhaust system for us. They also put in a new oxygen sensor and gave it a tuneup. The owner Ted kept us in the loop during the whole process and always explained in detail what their diagnostic procedures were and what needed to be done to fix the truck before proceeding, cost being a factor. Now, our truck runs better than it ever did. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly, it has lots of power, and no rattle! Ted more than earned our trust, he earned our respect. We are grateful to have found Nadler Auto and HIGHLY recommend them. This was my best experience dealing with an auto repair shop, ever.
