The prices are still great, and the breakfast items are the real highlight here (though lunch is solid too). Their omelettes in particular are fantastic -- hearty, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Service is still as friendly as always, and it's nice to see that the interior seems to have received an upgrade compared to many years ago when I grew up in Brandon. It's comforting to see a local spot like this stay consistent over the years. Komfort Kitchen really lives up to its name.

Low end head lettuce used. Sandwich was Mediocre in Flavor, Home Fries were limp and under cooked ( Cold ). Hamburger Soup (Meat was not drained of Grease ) Needed Slightly more Flavor. Finally got top up of coffee, was asked if I wanted more Water After I was Finished Meal. Overall thought we'd get homemade meals, especially for the Price you Pay!! They are always so friendly, the food is always so great, & we even had several visits from manager, Victoria. We told her how we used to go to The Keg all the time for our anniversary but have now switched to Browns because EVERYTHING is so much BETTER! We ALWAYS enjoy going to Browns, we've been there on several occasions & have NEVER been disappointed! The ambiance is so much better too, it brighter, good music, GREAT service! My husband, who works away, asked the same question and was met with being hung up on and blocked. Upon being hung up on, I explained to my husband what had previously been explained to me about this restaurant being scammed previously and how it's just easier for them to have the extra security. When I called from my own phone to place an order, I was berated about my husband asking this question and barely able to answer for myself. I informed the owner, Chris, multiple times that I wanted to just order pizza and try to diffuse the situation, however he persisted and escalated the situation. When he was finished saying his piece, he hung up on me. The entire interaction was extremely unprofessional. It's unfortunate I will no longer be able to eat locally anymore due to a lack of being able to have a conversation and human understanding with one another. Hopefully they treat their other guests with more understanding when being asked questions about unorthodox procedure. This was a very disappointing interaction.
