    It's donut day
    Lucy E.

The Sutton location of Tim Hortons is a fairly nice and updated looking establishment. The last few times I've visited this location they have been constantly filling in pot holes and fixing up the parking lot which I can appreciate. The parking lot and drive thru is a little hectic to maneuver through. The only thing I would have to rate them down is the fact that they are always out of items when I stop in. Sometimes it's sausage for their breakfast sandwiches or other times it's donuts like a Boston cream or a bagel. I understand they have breakfast rushes and everything but if you are going to advertise ALL DAY breakfast you should constantly have food being made or at least better estimate the quantity of product.

So this is totally just a standard Tims, but the reason it gets 5 stars is because of the locals. We were out camping in nearby Sibbald Point Park, and we had a little bit of time before we could check in. What better way to spend time than head over to get some coffee? So, like I said, standard Tims. You're going to get the same coffee and the same donuts that you're going to get at any other location. The employees are very friendly, and the locals are amazing. There was an older guy, probably in his 80s, who was poking fun at all of us waiting in line, basically one of those guys that is the unofficial mayor of a town. Everybody knows, him, strangers are charmed by him, and he does not care what anyone thinks. He gave Lee and I some good natured teasing for being so cuddly with each other. So if you like interesting local flavor, this is a Tims to stop into.

It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a hearty meal. The food was the real highlight for me. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and served in very generous portions. You can tell the kitchen puts a lot of care into the preparation. To top it off, the service was top-notch; the staff was attentive, friendly, and really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. If you're on Black River Road and looking for a restaurant that delivers on both taste and vibe, I highly recommend checking this spot out. I'll definitely be back soon!

The menu items are delicious with new items replacing older ones every once in a while. The Caesar salad is a REAL Caesar salad . Once you have one, you won't be able to eat one from another restaurant again. You can tell the dressing is homemade with original ingredients such as lemon juice, egg whites, garlic, anchovy paste, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce. Their risotto is also authentic and they revolve flavours. However , my favourite is the Mama Burger with spicy, peach preserves and Brie. Also treat yourself to one of their martinis Just found out the restaurant and their recipes and techniques were sold to a new owner. I hope the quality is kept up

The plaza itself is such a vibe, reminding me of Unionville Main Street for those familiar with the area. The signage throughout the plaza is excellent, making the place easy to find. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately captivated by the decor. It has such a unique aesthetic that's perfect for photos. I also noticed they have a patio with umbrellas, making it an ideal spot to enjoy on a breezy summer day without worrying about the sun. I originally came intending to order the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap ($15.99), but after spotting a table advertisement for their new Pizza Caesar Salad Wrap, I couldn't resist trying the pepperoni version ($16.99). My sister ended up ordering the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap instead, so we got to sample both. They also offer cookies, croissants, coffee, and matcha, along with 16- and 20-ounce iced drinks that are reasonably priced. I'm definitely intrigued to come back and try one. Even better, they've recently started serving breakfast, giving me even more reasons to return. The portions were generous and satisfying, and both wraps were packed with flavor. They struck the perfect balance of textures; crisp, creamy, and incredibly fresh. Honestly, no notes. They were perfection. I'd happily order them again, though I'm equally tempted to work my way through the rest of the menu. To top it all off, the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making for an all-around excellent experience.

I've never had mortadella before so I ordered the 4 Seasons as well as a hot dog. The hot dog is decent. The sausage is nicely grilled so it enhances that smoky flavor. The bun was a sesame bun but dry - just OK. Not sure it is worth the price or that I'd order it again. But when it comes to the sandwich, the ingredients were so fresh, the meat was delicious, the sauces were yummy, and it is overall composed really well. I'm a very saucy girl so it's slightly on the dry side for me, though. If I had to equate it to another well-known chain, I'd put this up there with Jersey Mike's, but perhaps with an edge because of the curated sauces and freshness. I love you too, Grandma!

Ryan is the founder of the business, which he runs with family and friends. We got to meet Riott, his son, who had a love for skulls and all Halloween decorations at this eatery. This place specializes in sandwiches. Many of their meats are slow-cooked for ten hours. Sauces, soups, and slaw are homemade. We ordered many items off the menu and had what we liked: - Jalapeno and house slaws - Chickpea and ham soup - Roasted garlic and tomato soup - The Brooklyn (Italian) - Hot corned beef - Montreal smoked meat - Slicey's chopped chicken - Chicken club wrap I started with the hot corned beef sandwich. The corned beef was generous and so flavourful. The rye bread held all that tender corned beef together, along with the best grainy mustard aioli. I am a soup girl. I enjoyed the roasted garlic and tomato soup. It had the perfect amount of garlic with tomatoes, along with onions and spices. It was a comforting, smooth soup. The chickpea and ham soup was excellent. It had nice cubes of ham with chickpeas. It was so hearty and delicious. I also love slaw. The jalapeno and house slaws were crunchy. The former was creamy with a touch of heat. The latter was vinegar-based. You get the best of both slaw dressing worlds! I then had the Montreal smoked meat. It was full of the most tender smoked meat on rye bread with mustard. So good! I'm not sure how I managed to down Slicey's chopped chicken sandwich. It was so good that I did! It had slow-cooked chicken that was chopped with tomato, and red onion. It included the jalapeno slaw, along with white cheddar. It was messy to eat, but so worth it. The flavours were outstanding. This business supports other local businesses. The bread comes from a local bakery. It also features Purple Tongue hot sauces. Staff are super friendly and kind. They can craft a sandwich to your liking if you go with The Riott. There were two separate washroom stalls. I used one of them before I left this eatery. It was clean. No complaints. It's a comfortable place to hang out with friends over good food and drinks. I ended up having a Diet Coke and Crush cream soda during the two hours that we were here. They were cold and refreshing. It's street parking for three hours. It's free, which is nice. Alternatively, there is a parking lot across from this eatery. I look forward to returning for more good eats and soup. It's a gem of a sandwich place that happens to have awesome soups and slaw. (391)
