This is a nice location in Richmond. Staff is nice. Nice parking lot. The dispenser in the men's bathroom is broken.

Ok I feel the urge to combat all these negative reviews here. I just don't get it. I have been to this Tim Hortons probably about 300 times. And I've been to about 30-35 different Tim Hortons all over the state and in Canada. First off, no employees have ever been rude nor anything but pleasant, ever. Secondly, I've never seen a drive-thru line (at ANY type of fast-food establishment) move more quickly and efficiently as this one. Like every. Single. Time. I usually go here during the busiest time of day (weekdays around 7:30) and it continually blows my mind how fast the line moves. I mean cars can be wrapped all around the building and back to Main St, and I never hesitate to go even then, because know it's gonna move quickly. And maybe most importantly, when i order my typical breakfast sandwich, it's ALWAYS damn near perfect. It's at the ideal temperature and the cheese is always melted a lil bit, just the way it should be. When I order the same thing at most other Tim's, I'm usually disappointed. Sometimes it's lukewarm and the cheese isn't melted at all, etc. So my point is, do not hesitate to go here with confidence. Reading all these previous reviews, I feel that many Yelpers are either just ignorant, complete and total pansies, or perhaps were just having a bad day so they felt the need to bash this place. No bashing here though, this is THE BEST Tim's I've ever been to all things considered and I'm glad it's my local one. Nice job Tim Hortons of Richmond!! I think it was the manager but she's very rude. On an accident I forgot to mention that I wanted my coffee iced. I got to the window and the cashier handed me a hot coffee and I said I'm sorry it was supposed to be ice. And she said oh... Then the manager comes to the window and tells me you have to say iced because it also comes in hot. Oh I'm sorry I made a mistake You don't have to smack my hand and act like I'm five. Are people not allowed to make mistakes. Very rude woman... I think it would have been more polite if you would have just said That's okay no big deal here's your drink thanks have a great day. Nope instead I get scolded. Needless to say I won't be returning. And I will be sure to let my friends and family to do the same. read more

I'd give 0 if I could. Our family came to the drive thru on our way up north to bury our 14 year old beloved golden retriever. We were all upset and devastated at the loss. When my husband asked for a double double, the manager screamed at him, "what size"! We were so taken aback that my husband asked not be spoken to in that tone. She proceeded to argue with him until we just drove away. I have called "Dave", and asked why nothing is being done and he said (verbatim) "If I did do something, I wouldn't tell you about it." I said no need to tell me, as nothing has changed over the years and the rudeness continues. I guess he couldn't care less. I wonder if a complaint to corporate in Canada will help? Such a shame. Will never go there again unless it's to record how they address customers so I have proof. read more

I'll start by saying I love Tim Hortons. I am quite mobile for my job, so I frequent their stores at least once per day. I'm especially fond of TH now that they have the tea lattes and egg bites. This location is on my way to work (so it is most convenient for me), and they tend to be very speedy, but I often bypass it for other locations due to the incredible rudeness of their morning shift drive thru staff. I recognize I have bad days too and tend to give people a pass, but the consistent condescending attitude I get leads me to leave this review...especially since the drive thru person is often the first person I speak to in the morning. This constant subpar service from them involves everything from being rudely corrected, to making a big deal about an order change, to snapping back at simple requests. In addition, when asked about services other locations provide, there's always a snotty response about how everyone else does it wrong. Ok. My friends who live in this area have made the same comments as well...and I see other reviewers have too. The girls seem to be very efficient at keeping the place going, but that is only one part of the job. Maybe it's time to find new people to interact with the customers. read more

My far my favorite Tim Hortons I have ever been to! Very clean and service is fast. Even at 6pm, the donut I had was still very soft and fluffy. The menu board is all digital so it's easy to read all the items and prices. Plenty of tables and even a couch! Plus there is a fireplace to warm you up and a TV to enjoy while sipping your beverage. First Tim Hortons I have ever been to that actually has free wifi that actually works without any issues. Country music lightly played on the radio. Perfect spot to meet with friends or get homework done. I would actually go out of my way to come back again. read more

Stopped in for the free coffee for veterans day (as the internet said) and of course , like last year they don't know anything about it until the day after veterans day lol so we ordered a coffee and paid , got it home and it tasted so bitter. Worked here for 4 days and I can start by saying... TERRIBLE customer service and terrible mistreatment, I've witnessed so my negativity in such a short timeframe. On my second day I already had people coming up to me telling me that the manager was complaining about me or talking about me, if I'm new and don't know how to do anything how do you expect me to get things right? This makes me wonder about the type of people they look to hire. 12-08-2022 approx 10:10 a.m. Just had the rudest customer experience ever! Pull up to drive thru, was told to go ahead with my order. 2nd Item into my order I was asked to hold on. When she came back on speaker she repeated my initial 1st 2 items but the first was either mis-heard, mis-understood or whatever. I corrected the person to what I heard her say, she then started to argue with me about what she said. I asked her not to argue with me and she became indignant. I then told her to cancel the order, she was not in the least bit phased. I have been going there at least 2 to 3 times a week for our office staff and sometimes on the weekend for myself. I attempted to call a couple of times to speak with the manager but the phone must have been off the hook as a recording said the call cannot go through. I even double checked the number to be sure I was calling the correct number. They have had poor ratings and a history of rude customer service. You would think the owner would care enough to correct this ongoing issue. Needless to say, until I hear otherwise and their ratings improve, Tim Hortons in Richmond MI will no longer be getting any support from me. read more

Hot chocolate, bagel and 1/2 doz doughnuts. Pulled up to the drive through and was told "order" and "pull forward". Get to the window and items were practically thrown in my car. Dropped the bagel and my card on the ground prompting me to get out and retrieve them. When I asked for a new bagel was told it's my property and my fault I dropped it as if it wasn't thrown in my car. read more

This place is the unfriendliest place! At the drive thru I am always told I "can't buy 6 of the same donuts" that I am limited to 2 of a kind!!!! What????? The workers here are extremely rude to their customers. Their business hours are not updated online and I arrived at the allotted time and was told with attitude that "I would be waiting there a while because they don't open for another hour". If there was a lower star I could give I would. How the owner can put up with the manager is hard to figure out. She is the rudest person I have ever dealt with in a retail establishment. Forget about the customer is always right. Not even close. According to the owner who I have complained to admitted that many of the things the manager told me about their policies are not true. This manager makes up the rules and policies as she goes along. She yelled at me because I corrected her on my order and tried to make it look like I was the one that was wrong. The next time I went through the line she said she couldn't wait on me any more because I yelled at her and swore at her. I have never sworn at any store employee. She said they have me on tape swearing at her but she wouldn't show it to me. The owner said there is no tape. It goes on and on. I am probably Tim Horton's number one customer. I love the food and drinks, and I love what they stand for. However, this location is atrocious. In the past year, they have NEVER (as in, not even once) gotten my order right. I've been cheated out of a LOT of money, and they just can't get it together. Some of the workers appear to be high and always give me the same compliment on my car and my tattoos. I wish they'd pay more attention to my order, as a paying customer, than on my appearance. I guess I'll have to travel to the next nearest Tim's to get what I pay for! read more

This location is always a treat to visit. The employees seem to really care and are polite. The menu selection is broad and well stocked. The inside decor is aesthetically pleasing and designed. It's one of the best ones I've been to. The only criticism I have is this... and it applies to literally every Tim Hortons experience in the last six months. I always buy a Farmer's Breakfast Wrap but swap the sausage for bacon. Nobody seems trained that there is a separate button for this and either I get employees trying to add bacon for an additional charge, or there is just a lot of confusion. I don't feel it's a failure on the part of the employees but management must not be training properly regarding these alternate options which are already preprogrammed into the system. Oh well. After a little discussion they always figure it out and this location in particular always manages hot and delicious food. That's a win. read more

The customer service is very poor. The ice caps taste sour. I drive 4 miles out of my way every morning to go to a different location. The employees are very unfriendly and often rude. When trying to place the order they will stop you several times to correct you on the correct way to say an item instead of just asking which donut you meant. I used to go here all the time but the people are just mean now. Never had a sour ice cap before but they are nasty. No other locations ice caps taste like that. read more

Terrible service, wanted to order a sandwich at 1:30pm on a Saturday and was actually advised not to by the person taking my order. The reason being they close a 2:00pm and they start closing procedures at 1:30pm. I couldn't believe it!!! Terrible terrible customer service. The time before I went to this Tim Hortons on a Saturday again I ordered a large coffee with one cream and I got a large coffee it seemed with half cream and half coffee which also made the coffee cold. I couldn't get back in the drive thru line to exchange it because the line was to long and I was on my way to an appointment (their dining room is still closed couldn't go in there either)!!!! Rude customer service. Part of my order, due to gluten issues was bacon as a side, same as ordered 3 other locations regularly. Rang up as bacon biscuit minus biscuit, $1.79. Other locations ring as a la carte, $1.10. I tried telling her, but said 'nope, this is how we do it and she did it right.' Sixty nine cents won't break me, but the combination of not caring that they're overcharging customers and the tone of the response will ensure I don't return. read more

I will start out by saying I love Tim Hortons Food and coffee.. What I don't understand is why when I order 8 bakery items they cram them into a bag! You get the items home and they are half squished and chocolate smeared on everything. I even asked the girl " Why do you cram all the items into a bag?" She looked at me like I was an alien. What do you mean she says. I was like they are all squished.. she did not understand at all. Same with the coffee they hand you a cup of coffee without a hot sleeve and 30 seconds later you can't hold the cup because the heat has now warmed the cup too hot. At every other location, if you have two different people in the car who want to have two separate orders you can use two coupons (one per order) because the coupons themselves state that you can use one per guest. This location never allows us to use one coupon per order only one per day essentially which isn't what's stated in the fine print. The staff used to be great and friendly but it went down the past few years since they've been staffing more and more high schoolers or people who don't exactly have the best work ethic. I'm a local and I choose to drive the extra ten minutes just to get Tim Hortons because when I go here it's not always the best experience. I bought six specialty donuts and the next morning they were so dried out that they didn't taste good at all. Their donuts are frequently on the drier side compared to other locations. If you want a drink I haven't had too many problems here with those but with food items and all I suggest you try a different location. Very sad this isn't the place it used to be. read more
