What's the point in having a 24 hour drive through if you have no products? We stopped at 2145 on a Saturday night, they had only two kinds of timbits, could not make anything with espresso because "it's late at night" and none of the special items advertised on the sign (timbit buckets, maple cinnamon sugar coffee, chai). At that point, just close and save us the time of trying to find anything that's actually available. read more

I would leave no stars if possible. Tried to meet friends here inside a couple of Sunday afternoons in a row, only to find they were closed due to too many employee call-offs. Yesterday, called before meeting there, was told they would be open inside until four. We arrived around 2 pm., only to find they had already closed the inside. If they intend to begin drive-thru only, then they need to do so. By the way, the last time we were inside, someone had brought their little girl to work with them and letting her run the drive-thru. I took an impromptu trip along the Ohio River and I was needing to stop for a break and was happy to see this place. It was quite unexpected as the Tim Hortons app never showed its existence. I ordered a panini and sweetened iced tea. I had the onset of a migraine and forgot to ask for multi-grain bread and they assumed that I wanted white--they never asked. They took care of things quickly and quietly, while tending the busy drive-thru. The sandwich and tea were good. They could have worked a bit on the friendliness but they weren't nasty, just rushed. I went through after work expecting to get the sprite that I ordered but instead I got carbonated water and when I came through I was at the speaker for over 5 minutes and nobody answered so I drove to the window and asked for a sprite and they said it was out and kind of hesitated to give me a different drink then before they shut the window I could hear them laughing about it and they had pop coming of the side of the cup with the lid hardly on read more

I've been at this location before, a typical Tim Horton's. The coffee is decent, an their are other places in town for sweet treats. Staff is clean and courteous, as at all TH's. The store it self is kind of dirty, no real excuse for it this time of day. I'm in Portsmouth on occasion, this is the last time I'll come in here though, it not a bad location for the area. read more

If you want to order a bagel with cream cheese and a sprite to receive a bagel with a tiny container of cream cheese and a knife to do it yourself and a water, leave it to Tim Hortons. I go through fast food drive thrus for convenience on the go, not to do their job for them. Never have I been given the things to do it myself until now and I just think it's ridiculous. Tim Horton's is a staple whenever I go to visit my family in Porstmouth, Ohio. I enjoy the muffins and hot chocolate. The lunches are kind of not good. Basically, imagine subway... but with smaller portions, harder bread, and saltier soup/ meat. Seriously ,the sandwiches are nothing to sneeze at. I'm a little perplexed as to why Tim Horton's is a canadian dynasty that people seek out when they go to canada (much like in and out burger is to california). I'm wonering if this Ohio version of the place is sub-par? Anyway, I'm not a coffee drinker but per my Mom, their coffee comes in a close second to dunkin donuts! yay? read more

When a person goes and orders a sandwich and says "no mayonnaise and no tomato", that sandwich should be served with no tomato and no mayonnaise. So when it's handed to me through the drive through window, and I check it (a lot of places tend to get my order wrong), and I see mayonnaise and I had it back, I expect it to be fixed. What I didn't like is they attempted to wipe off the mayonnaise leaving some of it still on the turkey, and they picked off pieces of lettuce, and left off the bacon when they handed it back. I walked inside after realizing it was still wrong, and I went up to the counter where another sandwich was waiting because "she realized she forgot the bacon" and handed me another sandwich, and the cashier was very rude to me when I turned to walk away. This Tim Horton's has lost my business because I will never be back. read more

Seriously slapped together sandwiches. I ordered the avocado BLT and it was a mess. Rusted lettuce leaf, what appeared to be a teaspoon of smashed avocado in center of bun, tomatoes looked fine three small pieces of bacon in a little pile again in the center of the big roll that covered a teaspoon blip of mayo nothing was spread, and wouldn't have been enough anyway. I washed my hands and did the best I could to spread stuff out. What a joke for $4.99 read more

Typical overpriced fast food location. However the majority of employees are extremely friendly and great to customers.

I have visited this location numerous times hoping that every time I go back that maybe the service will improve, thinking maybe someone was have a bad day ( because everyone does ) but I went back today finding out today that the ice coffee I normally get has changed, when? I don't know because I don't go all the time maybe twice a month, because it is a treat for me. Not knowing of this change I got a bit confused and the lady was very rude, I could barely here her on the intercom and evidently someone detected that or was getting annoyed my me because she put her mouth as close to the intercom as she could and yelled out, " mam the ice coffee has changed it comes black only unless you want flovor" ok that's fine but you don't have to yell! I don't know if I'll go back at this point! So aggravated to say the least. read more
