The fried potato hash towns were tasty and well seasoned, the eggs (however they were cooked) were good enough. Overall the food is what you expect for a traditional breakfast. A sign noted shortened hours due to shortage of staff, but I didn't feel the shortage in any way. Service was prompt and we received our orders almost as soon as we ordered and paid. Since we already had breakfast on our first visit, I opted for a coffee and a marbled rye toast, only to be told the marbled rye toast was discontinued and they really needed to erase that item from the menu. Not a big deal; I got whole wheat toast instead. It was amusing to see the next day, the marbled rye option was still listed on the blackboard, without even having the "sold out" sticky sign taped over it. The hubby ordered one of the most delicious vanilla cold brews I have ever tried: full on vanilla flavour, but not overly sweet. To sound cheesy, this location does coffee very seriously while providing an excellent ambiance and service. I regretted ordering food pretty immediately, as I watched the staff prepare orders while I waited. In the unreasonably long time it took for a hot dog, fries, and hamburger to be made, I witnessed two embarrassing altercations between staff members, and saw a staff recovering from a nose bleed with a tissue in one nostril (and still behind the counter?!). The fries and microwaved hot dog were fine, but the hamburger was inedible. My friend described it as the worst burger she has ever had. We honestly weren't sure if it was beef. This place is clearly a tourist trap. Unfortunately, we didn't have Internet at the time to be able to check Yelp. Maybe the ice cream is okay (we didn't try it), but stay away.
