Terrible service, especially from the managers. Used to love it here, in the past year or so the manager Logan has been nothing but rude and unpleasant and makes me feel uncomfortable going back. If you order "too much" in the drive thru, he'll get angry cause it's messing up his drive thru times and he'll tell you not to use the drive thru anymore. If you ask for things and they don't have it at the moment, he'll yell at you about not having it like it's YOUR fault. 0/10, don't recommend. Store manager is also terribly rude. read more

Very bad customer service from this store. The worst part is that the Manager Logan was working the Drive-thru payment with a very sour attitude, and when I complained about the Drive-thru order-taker about her crappy customer service, Miserable Logan tells me that in fact, the person taking orders from Drive-thru is actually an Area Manager. She is very rude and impatient. They could both use some better training on Customer service. They shouldn't even be doing frontline, let alone morning shifts, coz they obviously are incapable of handling frontline service professionally. It was very inappropriate and unacceptable. The worst. Stay away from this store if you want to enjoy coffee coz after the terrible service, we didn't even enjoy the coffees that we got and the bad experience left an awkward, negative feeling in our car. What a way to start people's workday. I thought I was doing a good thing stopping there to get my crew some coffee, but it just ruined our day. Never again. I regret going there. In hindsight, we should have just left and went somewhere else after the way they treated us. I sincerely hope that the owner can see this review and would care enough to fix this issue coz looking at the other reviews of this store, something is terribly wrong with the people managing this branch. read more

I'm not in the habit of putting people on blast. A lot of times when servers or restaurants get an order wrong, I try my best to be understanding and stay level headed. Not today. The picture below was supposed to be a Medium Cappuccino ordered at this location. I also ordered a half dozen donuts. I understand a cappuccino order will not have coffee to the brim because of the froth but this much froth?? I ordered and didn't check until I got home because I wanted to drink it when I got home while relaxing. Imagine my horror upon seeing this. Also, the donuts were at least a day old! AT LEAST! And any excuse to the contrary is unacceptable. When you eat donuts as frequent as I do, believe me, I know if the donuts aren't fresh. I didn't expect them to be hot fresh off the conveyor but my goodness, a day old? C'mon guys. Negative experience. If Zero stars were possible, that's what they would've gotten. This Tim Hortons has gone downhill since I first moved to Mill Bay 4 years ago. It takes forever to be served at the order counter. The seating area is always in a mess. Tables not being cleaned, junk and food waste on the floor. The noise level made from the workers behind the counter is often loud and disturbing. I don't understand the negative reviews at all. My family and I put in a large order on Sunday morning--two different tea lattes, two different breakfast sandwiches, three donuts, timbits, and an orange juice--and it was correct and ready in 5 minutes. Yes, the staff is mostly young, like any service job, and they were all fast, polite, and efficient. The food was hot and cooked well. The restaurant was very clean. I live within blocks of this Tim Hortons and it is pretty bad as TH goes. I used to go inside but find it somewhat dirty and badly organized. The bathrooms are pretty disgusting. So now I do not go inside anymore and have turned myself into a "Timbot" as someone has described. The two different approaches to the drivethru are only successful in enraging drivers. The final straw for me however for abandoning this spot altogether is their new policy of the upsale.. "would you like a shot of espresso with that" . . If I wanted a shot of espresso, I would have ordered it. I now get my morning coffee at the Serious coffee at Frayne rd.. by the way.. the Timmys at Goldstream on West Shore Blvd. is the fastest in the world.. just saying.. and they don't upsale. My teens and I often stop by Tim's for a lunch take out order, and we use the App as often my son needs a customization on his sandwich (ie: no sauce). I'm so frustrated that MOST times our order is incorrect, and the sauce is added, which makes it that by the time we get home, we see the mistake and my son can't eat it. So much wasted $$ and food. I tried to leave a comment on the corporate site but there were technical glitches. Why can't the food preparers look more closely on the comments for the order? I went through this Tim Hortons drive-thru on the morning of Good Friday. I ordered a breakfast item and was told that breakfast was closed. I asked when breakfast ended and the girl on the other end said 12 noon. I asked her what time it was presently, and she said 11:58. I then made my breakfast order again. She then told me that they ran out of eggs. Ran out of eggs on Good Friday morning going in to a 4-day a long weekend? If this is true, the Manager of this Tim Hortons should be summarily fired. Total management incompetence! The other problem with his Tim Hortons location, as other reviewers have pointed out, is the insane 2 lane approach to the drive-thru. It's hard to imagine how stupid the person must have been who devised this method. It was probably the same idiot manager who couldn't order enough eggs going into a four-day long weekend! Total management incompetence! Finally, another Management fail at this Tim Hortons is the inability to teach those who prepare food for the drive-thru, to actually cut whatever it is they're serving, completely in half. If you've ever tried to order a sandwich that will be cut in half, or a bagel that is supposed to be cut in half, you will notice that the same Management who can't order enough eggs, and who devices and insane two lane approach to the drive-through, must also higher sub standard people who are incapable of using a knife to cut something completely in half. Either that, or they do it on purpose because they know that when you drive away and are heading out on the highway and want to try and eat something that you have to struggle with pulling the two halves apart because they haven't been cut it in half properly. It's sheer laziness, sheer substandard hiring of employees, by a totally incompetent Manager. How the franchise owner has allowed this Manager to continue to screw up their business is beyond me, and beyond logic. It must be a family member! Avoid this shithole at all costs!! The staff was very young and seemed inexperienced. The cashier did not know what sauce is on the burger, they mixed up orders and the place was dirty and sticky everywhere. It looked like a hurricane just came through and spread newspapers, fries and tissues all over the floor. read more

Typical Tim Horton's; crappy coffee, mediocre doughnuts, food that tastes like you're in the hospital. But what makes this Tim's really bad is the layout of their drive thru; it's set up so that the Timbots that are too lazy to get out of their cars for their crappy coffee etc can line up in two places and block the entrance and the traffic within the little shopping centre. They don't give a damn about anybody or anything other than their crappy coffee etc. They're like crappy-coffee-crazed lemmings. Of course Timmy's could fix it but they don't give a shit either. One day I'm going to snap when I go to the bank and it's blocked by Timbots and I'll park in the drive thru! That'll fix 'em, their little Timbot brains will explode! read more

Worst T. Horton's visit ever! Placed my order as usual and got my coffees ... so far so good. 10+ pimply faced teenagers running around behind the counter, but only one actually making sandwiches and ladling soup. After 15 minutes finally got my sandwich. Another 10 minutes got my companions soup served up... . Told my elderly companion to get eating as I did not know when I would get my chili. While waiting my companion fished up a chicken egg sized gelatinous mass from her bowl ( it was chicken noodle soup, after all!). Unsure of what it might be, I took it back to the counter where 11 of the 10 employees eyeballed me but were too busy (?) to question what my issue was. At this point, glancing over at prep counter I spied a lone bowl of chili (minus the bun, tray, etc), ...obviously mine and growing cold by the minute. Having had my fill at this point, I barked out to one of the employees that I wanted to talk to the manager. A few minutes later, a pimply faced teenager came to the front and introduced himself as the 'shift supervisor'. He was kind enough to return my money as I had torn the full order of food away from my companion and plopped it in front of 'pimply supervisor'. Almost end of story. Thinking I could leave some feedback for the manager, I went to fill out a feedback form. Surprise of surprises, there was a distinct absence of paper close to the feedback box. At home, went on my computer but was unable to access T.Hortons online feedback (WTF!!!). End of story! ...Except that the composition of the gelatinous egg remains unidentified! read more
