The interior is minimally decorated in blue and white, with some of the author's quotes on the walls. The menu has a good selection of omelets, sandwiches and paninis. Both the coffee and the hollandaise is absolutely amazing here. Definitely stop by if you're looking for breakfast. NOTE: Sunday mornings get extremely busy and there are long line-ups.

Coming at around 10am, the place was already packed with locals and regulars. My party of 4 got seated right away at a table that was luckily cleaned and cleared. The couple coming in after us, however, did not have so much luck. As I observed the couple sitting down at a filthy table and pushing trash to the side, I felt bad for them as they were ignored by the waitress for a good 5 minutes. The place is just too understaffed! As my friends all ordered and waited, another friend of mine decided to come last minute. The waitress quickly said "What do you want so I can throw in your order with your friends?" I replied, "She hasn't seen the menu yet, she doesn't even have a menu." The waitress quickly replied, "I was talking to your friend, not you." Ooooooh boy. I can tell the waitress was trying to make it as convenient as possible but there are many ways to portray the message. In the end, I got a western omelette that came with home fries, salad/tomatoes along with toast and coffee/tea. The price is decent for what is given but this is definitely not a place that I'd have first on my mind.

This location off Rue Principal is a popular hangout for the seniors in Rouyn, even on a Sunday evening. There are multiple dining rooms for family dinners, dates or even private parties. You can get a "bambino pizza" that's only 4 inches, or a small for 6, or a regular size at 9. Often, you'll get a pat of butter to eat with your crust, a common way of finishing your pizza in central Quebec. Otherwise, choose one of the four "trempettes", sauces, for 99 cents. I like the "sauce sud-ouest" which has a mild chipotle flavour, to go with my vegetarian pizza. PARKING: Lots of street parking available WINES: The house wines are decent and start at $6 for a glass DESSERT: Save room for dessert, as they are tasty and most are under $5.
