This Tims used to be great, but now there are so many refuges working there that cannot speak good english and cannot understand you that you get your order wrong EVERY TIME. I am disappointed that I see no culture diversity there and that infact there is just all indians. There must be a indian manager hiring all their culture because there is NO DIVERSITY HERE. I feel as though Tims are taking advantage of the tax credit that they get from the government for refuges of tims only paying them $10 and the rest goverment funded, but this is not benefiting customers but actually loosing customers. Disappointed as when I went there today i ordered 2 drinks which BOTH were made wrong, I go in to tell them and i am looked at like i have 10 heads. THERE IS A COMMUNICATION BARRIER. By the end of them remaking it it was still wrong. I believe it is because they cannot understand what your asking because they can barely speak english. the food is usually pretty good at Tim's, especially for the money. I love the crispy chicken lime cilantro bowl or wrap, but sometimes they don't have it. Now twice in a row they don't have the crispy chicken- once about 8, an hour before closing on a weeknight, and about 7 on a Saturday. Do they just refuse to make more? read more

It would be nice if they actually provided the customer with the food they paid for. Purchased a chili combo today, and they did not include the bun in the bag. Called to speak to a manager, they tell me to call back tomorrow. I don't have high hopes, but would at least like a partial refund for the food I never received. read more

Went through drive through; the guy taking out order kept messing it up and then when we got our order both drinks were wrong along with the food. Not impressed, this happens almost every time I go to this location, train your staff to be nicer people, who can actually properly do their job. read more

if the owner of the lacewood drive Tim hortons actually knew how much a customer spent at this location per year , to be continually served inaccurate drinks, wrong drinks , talked to rudely by staff, and put up with it for years just for them to bar me for handing out business cards, stickers and magnets at there location when asked not too......and believe me im only one of many doing this. a female working the counter , told me in the drive through im barred for life. if they going to allow the staff to bar business from there property.....i guess the owner will feel the pinch. i hope they all get replaced. read more

I usually go to this Tim Horton location (if I ever go, otherwise I go to the McDonald's next door). The service is very quick (if you go inside). Usually there is a big line up inside and it even goes out the door but within two minutes everyone is served. Employees are very nice as well. Although this Tim Horton might be placed right in the middle of the parking lot, it is in a prime location and their restaurant is running very well. read more

There are two major things wrong with this location: 1. The Drive Thru is an accident waiting to happen. At a busy place like it is, there should be no drive thru there. There is not enough room for more than a few cars and it's right at an intersection. Cars are continously fighting to get into line. 2. They run out of everything. Extra large cups, donuts cookies... The service is possibly the worst in Halifax. Untrained staff, high staff turnover, poor moral. Current Manager is a sullen female, with little to no customer service skills. She wears a perpetual frown and stated it was not her job to train staff! However, they have no training in-house, and new hires are attempting to help train the newer recruits. Much confusion reigns behind the counter. Sometimes more staff are present than customers, but long lineups persist. There is a decided lack of day-to-day management which leads to many customers complaining in line about the ongoing poor service. Some prefer to leave and visit the adjacent MacDonald! The new Husband/Wife owners do nothing to improve the situation, and do not appears to have any real management skills between them. This is a newly renovated store, but nothing has improved except for floor and wall coverings. read more

This isn't the worst Tim's I've ever experienced, but it's not the best either. It has to have one of the WORST drive thru's in the HRM (only second to Starbucks Bedford I think) which is always backed up. If you choose to go inside to grab and go, expect a line up during peak times. I go to school near by and if I show up 20 minutes before class starts I know I can make it through. 10 minutes before class, Tim's is not happening and I'll try on my first 15 minute break. Not to mention the inside line can be confusing. There are 2 doors in, but only one side where the line gets backed up and almost behind the counter and or out the door itself. This one line empties to both registers. It's confusing and people get cranky when you don't know what's going on and appear to be cutting in line when you aren't actually trying it, you're just trying to figure out where you're supposed to go for the end. Some of the staff seem happy to be at work, the rest seem to be uninterested other than pouring your coffee to get you gone to get to the next person in line. It always seems packed to the hilt with customers. There are the odd occasions where you might be able to find a seat, but don't count on it. All in all, get in and get out! read more

We never go through the drive-through, as mentioned - it is a death trap. It's horrible just driving to shoppers or the gas station! There can be huge trucks sticking out of the drive-through and into the rightmost lane. It's quite unbelievable actually, I've never seen a setup this bad haha. After parking though, there's another weird lineup - the line inside is totally horizontal, so there is no way to know which way is the front. Every time you go in it's different - it bothers me quite a bit because I don't want to inconvenience anyone, but no one seems to agree who got there first! Kind of crazy haha, I don't need this weird stress when I get my steeped tea. Anyways! The staff are always super nice and have never messed up my order. If they are ever in a bad mood I haven't seen it, but it's probably because of the horrible setup. Good place to meet for coffee- but definitely makes me wonder why it's the only coffee shop in the general area. What is up with that? read more

First off I'd like to know who decided to put a Tim's right in the middle of the parking lot. Second, it has a screwed up drive thru, which as someone stated is an accident waiting to happen! For the most part the customer service is decent, and the lines move quickly. They fixed the line issue where no one knew where to line up and who was next. I go here often because it's really close to my school (Hair Design Center). It is very busy in the mornings, so make sure you leave lots of time. The staff is usually pretty nice, but I have gotten the occasion person who you can tell really doesn't want to be there, and is really nasty about it. They do run out of stuff quite often, but it's because they are so busy. I usually and just going for a coffee anyway so that doesn't really affect me. The drive thru should be taken away completely. It is an absolute nightmare! People are in a rush, and blocked everyone no matter where you go, it's just an accident waiting to happen. All that being said, it's the only Tim's I can walk to on my school break or lunch so I will still go there. read more

this is the worst Tim Hortons in Halifax. Everytime i order online they mess up the order by forgetting something , making something wrong or its cold. the coffee always taste disgusting and the drive thru is horrid. read more

One late morning to go to this Tim's to grab breakfast and a sandwich for lunch. I figured it may be best to go inside so I don't hold up traffic in the drive-thru. Big mistake! I had to repeat my order 3 times, steak wrap and a sausage breakfast wrap. That was it! I waited 9 mins for this food after ordering it. I could understand if it was busy, it was not overly. I also understand that drive-thru takes priority but come on! I watched 2 staff members argue over who was taking break first, before my food was even put on the grill. Finally I'm served my food and I'm presented with the wrong wrap. I'm handed a chicken wrap instead of steak, so now I've paid more for a wrap I didn't want. She did offer to make me a new one but after 9 minutes wait, I certainly wasn't waiting any longer. read more

I have been going to this tim's on and off for many year's, and each time I go it is ion the hopes that they changed their morning staff. I order the same items day after day and almost every day they get the order wrong. I have had one instance where I took only fifty dollar bills there and when I left I had two less fifties and change. Only because fifties stick together, But when I drove around after stopping at the edge of the drive through I went strait back through and was told that they didn't have it and that I had to check back after the cash was done. And naturally they failed to find my fifty dollar bill. I live on pension and I reported this to head office and they refuse to admit that one of the ladies is a thief.And ever since then I have never gotten an order that was right from the same staff ever. So My opinion is that you give them change only if going and check every item at the window before you drive away. Let the other customers wait. They count on you not taking the time to go back through. read more
