We took a quick afternoon into Canada, so we had to try Tim Hortons. To be honest, I didn't know anything about it other than they sold donuts. We came at supper time so we got some "real" food and it was pretty good! We tried a maple donut and enjoyed that too. I would like to come back and try and iced coffee. Good! I just stopped by for a hot tea, it did the job. The drive through was fast service

We weren't finding a lot of good food options in Fort Frances, so we decided to opt for fast food instead. I had never had Tim Hortons, so I figured I would try it while in Canada. We got a Farmers Market wrap, the Bagel B.E.L.T, 10 TimBits (apple fritter, honey dip, and honey cruller), and a maple dip donut. The wrap was pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of the bagel. It wasn't that warm, the everything bagel was kind of flavorless, and the mayo didn't go well with the egg. The TimBits were pretty good. I liked the honey cruller and apple fritter the best. I wasn't a fan of the maple dip donut. It wasn't glazed at all so it was pretty dry. Overall, I thought the donuts were over rated (Krispy Kreme for me, please). Overall, the food was ok. I'm glad I tried it, but I'd probably choose a different fast food chain over it. read more

And after 22 seasons of hockey "Tim" Horton decided to open a coffee and doughnut chain....I guess that is what they call the Canadian Dream. Coffee, sandwiches, soups, and doughnuts, that's pretty much what you'll find here. Nothing fancy, but all very filling. A great place to stop when you aren't fishing or blowing snow (cause that's what they do in Fort Frances) Tim Hortons: Because you have to get your doughnut coffee fix from some place. read more

I haven't been to this location in years so we decided to swing by. I asked for a 6 pack of donuts with half of a certain kind, I received one of that kind. Understandable if they were out but I wasn't told that. Also the chicken sandwiches were not impressive. Chicken was tough and stringy. "Buffalo" sauce doesn't really have a flavour but I know they don't control that. Drinks were good though so I guess it wasn't a total loss. read more

We stopped in here before we crossed the border going south since we knew this would probably be the last one we would see. There are only a few in the states near us. We stocked up on Tim Bits and donuts so we would have plenty for the next few days, if they last that long. Oh, if only they had stores in Kentucky. We're going to miss TH until our next trip to Canada. read more

I go here regularly after my night shift at club 88, and would highly recommend going through drive through. The food tastes so much better that way, even if you don't have a car. Also make sure to ask if Timothy from the back can prepare your meal, he always cooks it with love read more

Good coffee, that is about it. Bait and switch advertising. You try to order a combo that has a specific price on it only to find out you have to pay extra for one of the items that clearly is shown in the combo. This has happened to us each of the three times we ate here. Why is it so crowded? You got me there. read more

This was an extremely disappointing experience. When we arrived, we waited behind 2 other people for much longer than normal. We walked up to the counter and the kid that was taking our order didn't say much. Not a hello. Nothing. He literally just stared at us and waited for us to order. So we ordered two meals. I got coffee with mine and didn't realize I had to ask for cream and sugar and when I finally got some ue gave me one of each. Personally I like a few of each. Again...something I didn't think I should have had to request... When our food was finished, the lady behind the counter just said "wrap". So i walked up there since that was what I ordered. I asked if that was both of our meals. She very rudely responded, "It's two wraps and a hash brown!" I said we ordered 2 meals. She walked away without saying anything. I went back to my boyfriend to make sure of what he ordered and we had both asked for meals, but we weren't even offered a receipt, nor did we receive one. So I had no proof of what we ordered. I decided that it wasn't even worth it to try and get it fixed since the lady obviously didn't care before. We ate what we had and that was decent. I will not be returning to this location. These people need some serious courses in customer service. But, I will give other Tim Horton's a chance. read more

All Canucks know what Tim Horton's is like - no change from store to store, except the service... The coffee is fine - but if you drink it black, it's nothing special - the full fat cream is where the flavour is! read more
