The second was soup - and it was served cold! That was a disappointing start to the meal. Singapore style chili crab, while the most expensive (almost 3k for a kilo of shriveled crab), tasted average and wasn't very flavorful. The buchi balls smelled bad off the fryer. But they did quite well on cha misua, fried lapu-lapu, and Peking duck that we ordered. Service is always good, but the kitchen can be very slow to serve. A little on the pricey side, but Cebuanos now have little choice for Chinese seafood restaurants since Choi closed too. Tao Yuan is probably the best from the Manila imports.

All the steamed dumplings were cooked perfectly--not overcooked or spongy like at some other places. They were steamed just right, with the meat remaining moist and juicy. All the other dishes were also well-prepared! The service was good, especially since there were only a few tables occupied when we visited. There are plenty of tables inside, so seating is not an issue for large or small parties. I think this restaurant leans towards the high end in terms of cost, but overall, it's a great place to satisfy your dim sum cravings.

We came in on a Friday morning, and the place was practically empty except for one table with a group of older woman who I swear could have been pulled from Crazy Rich Asians. They offer you a piece of paper with their dim sum offerings, and you check which ones you'd like. They make each batch fresh for you rather than rolling in things on a cart (which makes sense considering the traffic). We were disappointed they didn't have more options, but the options they did have were all delicious and fresh. The price was also very reasonable considering it was all you could eat dim sum. Honestly, the hotel Marco Polo breakfast buffet was overpriced in comparison. Not only was this a cheaper meal for two, but after trying both establishments, this restaurant's quality of food was vastly superior. We wish we had just gotten all you can eat dim sum for brunch both days. The place was clean. The food was great. The service was friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend eating here, especially if you're staying at Marco Polo.

We always get the shrimp dumplings and the soup dumplings. Dip them in chili sauce and wow! Delicious! The seafood is always fresh. May not be a good idea for animal lovers though or for anyone not into that sort of thing, i mean seeing that their meal was alive just a few minutes ago. But anyway, their food is really flavorful. And from what i hear, chefs are really from places such as hongkong etc and so the taste they put into their food is really authentic chinese. I got to try the spinach soup today too and it was surprisingly really good! They added egg, tofu and shrimp so it tasted more like a healthy egg drop! I loved it!
