After church my brothers and I decided to try the place that my friends speak highly of, to check it out and see if it lives up to it's hype. True enough there is authenticity in its Chinese cuisine, dishes that has rich and diversified but harmonious color, aromatic flavor, and excellent taste. I came for their dimsum, The choices are limited but I must say, by far, it's the best dimsum I ever had in Cebu City. I'm done eating dimsum at the mall. I also tried the other dishes my brothers ordered, and I say this place has the best Chinese food I ever had in Cebu City, The place was packed but we got there just 5 minutes before all tables were taken. The servers were quite efficient, patient and friendly. The place was kinda noisy during lunch time. Happy diners maybe?

We always get the shrimp dumplings and the soup dumplings. Dip them in chili sauce and wow! Delicious! The seafood is always fresh. They have live fish, lobster, and even eel that you can pick from outside. May not be a good idea for animal lovers though or for anyone not into that sort of thing, i mean seeing that their meal was alive just a few minutes ago. But anyway, their food is really flavorful. And from what i hear, chefs are really from places such as hongkong etc and so the taste they put into their food is really authentic chinese. I got to try the spinach soup today too and it was surprisingly really good! They added egg, tofu and shrimp so it tasted more like a healthy egg drop! I loved it! Gotta check this place out if you havent yet.

I haven't had good chinese food in a while except maybe for tsay cheng at the grand majestic convention center which is kinda upscale.

It was your typical "McDonald's" style thin patty but with a massive one inch pineapple slice. Needless to say, the burger was cold which is probably due to the pineapple slice. Two night later, I tried their spaghetti & Chickenjoy combo. It was horrible. Lukewarm spaghetti with ketchup & chopped hotdogs. Too bad the Philippines doesn't have a Fazoli's. Also, the chicken leg was warm, but it was kind of dry. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Even when we were ordering our food, it was disappointing since they didn't have three different dishes that we wanted to try. We ended up opting for the siu mai, shrimp rice rolls, bbq pork buns, and wonton noodle soup. The bbq pork bun was great. The rest of the food was worse than mediocre and as a comparison, I've had much better dim sum in Vancouver and Toronto. They didn't offer any hot tea with our meal which is interesting since dim sum translates to "yum cha" in Cantonese which literally translates to "drink tea". They didn't even offer water. The service was not good since there was no service. This was my last meal before I got crazy food poisoning that lasted several days. I can only suspect that something was bad in their food which made me feel extremely sick several hours later.

Since we spent most of the day traveling, we didn't eat lunch,;so came here for a late meal around 4pm. Because of so, we were the only ones dining in and as we were deliberating about what size of lechon to order, our server overheard us and told us that lechon is only available at dinner, an hour and a half away. NOOO! We clearly started to panic, which is when another employee got scared and said to our server that they had it so could serve it. Thank the lawwwd. Although the menu recommends a small lechon for two people, we ordered the medium size because we are fat Americans. We also ordered a side of Pancit with Lechon and Eggplant Salad. Nothing took long to make. Pancit with Lechon is Pancit Canton with pieces of lechon tossed throughout, and it was sooo good! Obviously, I loved the bites of lechon the most, but the the egg noodles and veggies were scrumptious. And it wasn't too salty or heavily sauced, which I appreciated. Eggplant Salad was also very good, with a nice citrus flavor that complemented the smokiness of all the roasted pig we ate. And speaking of, the lechon was uh-may-zzziiiing! I knew it was gonna be good, but I didn't know it was gonna be THAT good! The lechon was perfectly roasted, creating a tender, juicy meat with every morsel of a bite, and I loved that it was not overly salted, letting the pig do its thang. And do not even think about skipping out on the crispy skin. The crackle with the meat makes it all the more heavenly. Like I said before, we ordered the medium size for two of us. But pretttttty sure we coulda slaughtered a large size. Do yourself a favor and just get the large size lechon. Don't live in regret like me. Zubuchon was one of the best meals I had in the Philippines! The lechon is what to order. A large size at that. Actually, scratch that. Order a whole roasted pig, which you can actually do here! Pork it up and get some of the wonderful sides to go with. And lightly add some vinegar and calamansi to top it off. Peace. *Mic drop*
