This is going to be a long one so.... TLDR: Tim blew away any expectations I had for a realtor. I would highly recommend anyone to go to him. I guarantee you'll be happy with him and the results. Going into the home buying process as a first timer can be scary when you realize there just SO MUCH that goes into buying a home. From visiting multiple locations, to putting in the best possible offer, learning about the different strategies that go into making a good offer, and hoping your's gets picked, it's a lot. Only after going through the process did I realize how critical having a great realtor is to help with the learning curve and take on that burden of responsibility. We gave Tim the tough task of helping us close in on a home we would be happy with within a month's time. In the seller's market we were in earlier this year, it would be tough for anyone but he made it happen. We probably toured close to a dozen homes and in each home, he pointed out the pros and cons, short term and long term benefits of said houses, all of which made it abundantly clear that he's not the realtor that is looking to make a quick buck. He genuinely cares about making sure his clients are happy. His demeanor, quick responses, and sound advise really solidifies that Although it's awesome having a realtor that is genuinely a great person and easy to work with, at the end of the day, it's the results that matter. Boy did he deliver. From the start of the negotiating process, it's abundantly clear Tim has the expertise, confidence, and sheer guts to get the best deal for his clients. He gave us tips on how to provide a great offer, provided in depth reasons and explanations for his suggestions and from there he was able to be our liaison and be the tough negotiator to get us the house. He saved us twice in this process. First, without his insights on providing a good offer, we would have lost to prospective buyers willing to easily pay $20-$30K above asking prices. Second, without his negotiation experience and charisma, even if we came up with a solid offer we wouldn't have been able to tactfully deliver it well enough to get it past the finish line. I was a bit apprehensive about looking for a place as a first time buyer, but Tim was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and even after! He pointed out things in properties we toured that would be problematic; it was clear he wasn't just trying to make a quick purchase. My husband and I were introduced to Tim and ended up hopping on a video call with him the very same day. He was very proactive and wasted no time getting in touch with us.
