Tilly's is a cool enough clothing store located in the Waterford Lakes Town Center. Since it is in the Waterford Lakes Town Center, parking should not be an issue. The service was friendly and the overall experience was a decent enough one. If you are in the area, go check them out. read more

Tillys offers a great mix of clothing that caters to both younger generations and those looking for a more classic, laid-back style. There's a solid selection of surfer and skater-inspired apparel, which brings back memories of my skater days--think 40mm wheels, Believe Alien tees, Vision skateboards, and baggy jeans so oversized you could pull them up to your knees on hot days. While Tillys isn't strictly a skater shop, if you're into clothing, hats, watches, sunglasses, shoes, light gear, or even a retro skateboard, it's definitely worth a visit. Tillys also carries a range of non-skater styles, including band tees and a variety of options for women, with clothing, shoes, and accessories to suit every taste. Although I didn't purchase anything today, I noticed Tillys had a lot of good sales going on. One of the sales was on tee shirts, two shirts for $35, not bad. The store was well organized and very clean. If you need to try on any of the clothes there were several fitting rooms available. Staff were very friendly and accommodating during our visit. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by--it's a fun store with something for just about everyone. read more

Overall it is a good store. But my main beef with Tilly's and not just this location is how long it takes to check out. Tilly's just needs to make it so you can give a phone number instead of email address. I just want to have the cashiers take my phone number, scan the items and take my money. It doesn't have to take 5 minutes to check out. Also they only have maybe 2 people checking out and people looking to check out is always 5-10 people. Again, I like the store, but my beef is the slowness at checkout. read more

A very clean store with nothing out of place. The employees made themselves available without being annoying. I did notice that half-tops seem to be making a come-back so yeah, as a dude, I'm looking forward to all the fit abs being visible again. ;) read more

Love this store! Reminds me of what Pacsun used to be. It's like a "skater/suffer store" with lots to offer when it comes to clothing and accessories. With good prices to offer, both male and female departments and a great clearance selection in the back of the store. I'm always immediately greeted once I step foot inside the store and offered guidance around the sore. If you are into casual clothing, specifically stereotypical skater and suffer clothes, this is your place... And although I am neither of the mentioned, I enjoy these type of clothes. LOL! read more

This was my first time in Tillys, so I was pretty excited. I used to never go into stores like Tillys (the surfer/novelty clothes and shoes) because I thought they wouldn't have anything that I would like or something that would catch my attention. Well I was so wrong and I am glad I was wrong. I found some nice looking t shirts that I can fit and some shoes that I wouldn't mind wearing anywhere in the US especially back home in the DMV area where fashion is super important. The atmosphere is very laid back with some cool music to keep you entertained while you are looking at clothes, trying on clothes, and trying on shoes. The sales associates were kind enough to give me a brief tour of the store seeing as how it waz my first time, which gives them extra cool points with me. Awesome store and staff, can't beat that! I come here very rarely and almost never buy anything. It is quite possible that I have never bought anything, not only here, but ever, anywhere. It is possible that I am typing in a 100-year fit of madness, and that I am really only a floating brain in vat, or perhaps, I do not exist at all. Now - let's get real for a moment and share a few personal experiences. Thanks for keeping me honest, Flags the Clown. My three experiences with Tilly's at Waterford follow, if memory serves and if I am not writing in a fit of insanity that, as it turns out, is my whole existence. 1. Fall, 2013. I entered in search for sunglasses. I'd got a hot tip that they were selling them for $1, this being the end of summer (never mind that summer is probably the least sunny season here). In retrospect I think my friend was thinking of Cottonon. Anyway... I was working nearby, it was midday and the store abandoned. They had no sunglasses, or if they did I didn't find them. There was one employee, as far as I could tell. That probably makes for a problem if multiple people need help, but I didn't really. 2. Fall 2013 (2). It was later, and must have been a weekend. I like to refer to malls as Hell where you can go shopping, but Waterford was only slightly busy. My partner was shopping inside Tillys. I entered, having been elsewhere, found it to be difficult to navigate amid a sea of gibbering millenials, and left a minute later. That's not necessarily a bad thing; for me, a middle-aged guy with no kids, it doesn't work. For masses of teenagers, it's probably what you're looking for. 3. Four weeks ago - Summer 2014. I was looking for a very specific kind of socks... some kind of blended fabric (denounced in the Bible), short-cut, perfect for all manner of athletic activity. I did not find them. My husband and I regularly refer to Tilly's as "that store for 14 year olds in Waterford." It's chock full of tacky t-shirts with weird logos and bright 80's looking clothes. The clothing is your typical Pacific Sunwear/Inland Ocean type stuff. I didn't find anything that really drew too much of my attention. They had a couple of tank tops that were pretty average that were basically the only thing I'd wear. I'd say that if you're in your 20's - your probably a little too old for the stuff that they sell here. read more

I like shopping at Tilly's as this is the first store I try to find something I'm looking for. In the past I have been told by cashiers that they will honor expired coupons as many other stores do. This occasion I was purchasing sunglasses for almost $130 trying to use an expired 20% off coupon that I get monthly. Having stated the coupon was expired but I was told they honor them the manager acted as if he couldn't believe I would try to use an expired coupon. Anyway, the mark ups at Tilly's isn't exactly nominal so obviously I'll shop elsewhere. It just sucks to wait in line forever for nothing because I believed what a previous employee had told me. Whether it's a corporate policy or bit it doesn't seem cost effective to turn away a $100+ sale because a monthly coupon is expired by a month and a half. I guess I should have waited another week for the new catalogue to come in. read more

I went into the store today looking for a bathing suit from about 5:30-7pm. I picked out various tops and bottoms and made my way to the fitting rooms. An employee approached me and let me into a room, only to have the door unlocked and opened by another employee as I was undressed and topless trying on bathing suits. The employees started snickering and gave me a laughing "sorry". I did not see anything funny with being humiliated in front of other customers and employees. Apparently the employee who let me into the room forgot to write my name on the door. But why didn't the employee who opened the door on me knock first or even check to see if someone was in the room??? The final straw was when I had asked the employee working the fitting rooms if she could hold some clothes that I wanted while I tried on other clothes. She said of course and put them to the side for me. When I came out from the fitting room and asked for the clothes, she gave a little laugh and said she "accidentally" put the clothes back??? At this point I was over her horrendous service and had to go through the store again to find the clothes I wanted. Long story short, I have never experienced worse customer service from a clothing store. The employees are nothing but unmoral, ignorant little girls. read more
