There were signs but I didn't put two and two together. By the time I found the leak, it was to late there damage to the sheetrock and insulation. There was also mildew and mold in the cabinet and everything was ruined. I called several plumbers that were listed on Yelp who's ads said they did emergency service. But it was after hours so I could only leave messages. Tyler from Todd's plumbing called me back within a few minutes! I told him the situation and that I had shut the water off. We agreed on him coming the next morning. That night I used a heater to dry out the cabinet. Tyler showed up the next morning right on time, I asked him to remove the leaky valve because it was not in use anymore. Tyler literally climbed into the cabinet and completed the repair with no problems. His price was fair, his attitude was great especially considering he was crammed into my kitchen cabinet with barely any room to work. Tyler was prompt, polite and worked very efficiently. He made no mess and was very professional, you can tell he's been in the trade for many years. And on top of everything listed above, he's a genuine down to earth nice guy! As of this review none of the other plumbers I called in South Lake Tahoe have returned my calls. Thank God for Tyler otherwise I'd still be melting snow to get enough water just to flush my toilet. That was a rough night but today I'm happy, I got my water and hot water back thanks to Tyler!!!

The first time we called these guys, we needed a plumber to come and snake the up doing was not…read moresneaking the drain. They snaked the tub, which was not helpful because I was telling him that the snake is not gonna fit down there, but they went ahead they started talking about replacing the infrastructure which I will admit is old, but not needing to be replaced this was the first so because they did not efficiently get rid of the still sent us an invoice for almost $300 which we were not going to pay. I'm not gonna pay somebody money for work. They did not do. We had Lake Tahoe plumbing. come A few days later. they did such a better job and instead of snaking the tub they did so through the clean out pipe, which is underneath the house. Now that is work I am willing to pay for because they got rid of our problem and they did it in a timely fashion, and they did not say anything about the infrastructure underneath the house meaning they weren't gonna try and gauge us by replacing everything underneath the house that didn't need to be replaced. What do you guys think that you're gonna just get over on us then we had you guys come a second time which was not my choice. It was the house choice and I get a hold of them beforehand so not choose you again and this is why we're never gonna choose you because we had you second time to look at what the cost we're gonna be for a demo in the bathroom, taking out the floor down to the subfloor, taking out the tub and taking out the sheet rock beyond the tubs faucet on the wall . We had had a leak from the shower tub and it got behind the tile into the sheet rock and beyond I had mentioned to them I had already fixed the leak and therefore it's not leaking anymore, but there is damage beyond that the guy was not paying attention to what I was saying, nor did he show up in a company vehicle he showed up in his personal vehicle, which that meant he was probably not going back to the shop. He made us wait till the very last minute of their business hours to show up and did a lousy job. guy barely wanted to even the I mean, that's a part of your job dude so I was definitely pissed off about that. I had everything already ready when he got there. I had the water shut off. him I already replaced the cartridge in the shower which if you know what that is, you know, but it controls the hot water and cold water these guys still sent an invoice to the the owners didn't know better and they knew that and they got paid anyways. Y'all business and I will never be calling you again. I don't even know how you guys have a 4.7 stars that shit down to 1.5 my suggestion for folks reading sure you when their guy comes out to assess the situation and hopefully you'll have somebody there with you that knows a little bit about plumbing so they don't try and screw you over because they will.
