Thanks! I will definitely use this company again with my moving needs . Definitely recommend using them!

DON'T WALK, RUN away from these people. Setup: I had already started packing. So along with sq-ft…read moreof the apartment, I provided a detailed inventory of all the large items, and an estimate of cu-ft in boxed sundry. I also gave them photos and suggestions for off-street parking. On moving day, they arrived 40 min late and had no information about the parking situation (+15 min for moving the moving truck). Either the estimator or dispatch listed me as a single room rather than top-to-bottom 1,000 SF apartment. They only booked a 2-person team for 4 hours (needed to be double), and nowhere near enough packing materials to finish the job. Between the late start and fixing all the problems, we burned 2 hours before even getting started. The guys were complaining TO ME that they wouldn't be paid overtime. Their preferred time-saving method was to simply empty kitchen drawers (including sharps) into huge boxes that also had paper lantern floor lamps, decorative pillows, and random stuff from my office (lamps were trashed). There were only 2 closets; both had gotten the floors cleared, but no one bothered with the overhead shelves. Due to limited space on the truck, I had to make other arrangements to move my couch, 2 living room chairs, and my bed. Once we got to the new place, they ignored the room labels and simply piled everything I own in the middle of living rm/kitchen. Instead of using the rest of my weekend to unpack, it took me TWO WEEKS to dig out, distribute, and get stuff put away. I made several trips back to my old apartment to clean out the closets and rescue other stuff that I discovered. I paid another $900 to have those last 4 pieces of furniture carted out and donated. Hire these idiots at your peril.

But according to their insurance policy, I should have done so before the movers left. I understand that I should have kept the movers waiting and standing around in my house until I went over and inspected every single little piece of my possession (/s), but why and how was my stuff lost in the first place? I clearly saw the jacket go into the boxes along with other jackets and sealed. It was particularly painful to lose this jacket because it was a personal and sentimental item that my mom and I made together. Update: My suddath advocate Benny escalated this issue with his VP to the insurance management company and was able to get them to issue the insurance claim. Although I'm still really sad I lost that jacket, I appreciate the effort that these people went through to make sure I was satisfied.

Theft! Used this…read morecompany as my new job offered them as new hire moving expense option. Always handled my own moves, it was my first time using professional movers. As always, moving out of state with a house full of stuff and a family to a new job is a mess. Found out some months later that collectible sports cards I've had since the 80s were missing from a sports tin. Nothing crazy valuable, a jerry rice rookie and sanders rookies but they were sentimental. Can I prove they were stolen? In everything sense but hard evidence as I didn't list those items on the valuable list. Also, driver suggested I don't insist on inventory for all my items to "save time". Big mistake. I've kept this items in a small sports tin that screams open me if your an opportunist looking for easy pickins to pocket. By the time you realize something is gone, it's past the 90 window to make a claim. You cant even email the sales representative contact that you booked with, email will bounce back. My advice? No matter who you pick, inventory all items, handle valuable including sentimental items yourself, insist they follow all procedures, read the fine print and treat the movers as hired strangers that don't not have your interest as heart. Learn from my mistakes and protect yourself.
