The Avalon boat was exactly like the pictures on the website and there was room enough for all 10 of us on board. Bring an iPod and a charger so you can DJ your own music and there was a cooler on board to store drinks etc. One of our friends kinda had some trouble swimming back to the boat due to the strong current and umm his current state and Captain Gabriel jumped in the water with a life jacket and saved him. :-) At the end of our rental, he even dropped us off at the Icon dock vs having to go all the way back to South Beach, very convenient! Would definitely sail with them again! This is NOT the same company as Miami Watersports that is panned on Yelp...we were a little worried when we read those reviews but it worked out great since it's a different company.

They took us to an area where Manatees have been spotted, but no luck. It was a scenic view either way. Then we hit the areas around millionaires row and other areas. My BF is a sailing enthusiast so I made a serious compromise. First let me say that Cap'n Russ is awesome. The boat was beautiful and clean. Russ keeps it in tip-top shape. He gave us a quick little tour and off we went! I learned about jibs and masts (oh baby) and it was a beautiful day. Cap'n Russ gave us privacy but was perfectly attentive and accommodating. He made the best little appetizers! So thoughtful. He took us through the little waterways to see the huge/gaudy homes that are everywhere in SoFla -- he showed us Andy Garcia's house and we saw him outside. Cool! Don't have enough nice things to say about Russ and the boat. The experience was fantastic. I didn't get seasick either which was quite a relief for all of us!

From the moment we set foot on their 46 feet long sailboat we know we had made a great choice. We were attended to our needs in every aspect imaginable. The head (restroom) and galley (kitchen) were immaculate. The inside of the boat had accommodating and comfortable leather seats. We sailed across the Miami Bay area and witnessed a beautiful sunset while sipping on some wine and nibbling on crackers, cheese and fruits. As the night fell, they brought some LED candles that accentuated the mood and prepared a delicious meal consisting of three courses: Coconut Shrimp with dipping sauce, Salmon over spinach and wild rice, and carrot cake for dessert. We sailed right past the intercontinental and under the Biscayne bridge and were astonished at the sight of downtown from a different perspective. Russell and Susan were great companions in our short trip. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to our close friends and family if they were looking for a romantic night out in the beautiful bay of Miami.

The good: This was a 3-4 star experience. I booked a…read moresnorkeling tour for 2 for my husband's birthday thru their website. It was easy to book and they had lots of availability. The best part of the trip was how we had the boat exclusively to ourselves! I didn't know it'd be a private tour until the day I came. So, the boat was just a total of 3 people (captain included). The water temperature was great and the clarity was decent. We even saw two dolphins! You meetup at Whiskey Joe's at the marina and you can start your excursion immediately. I liked that you didn't need to wait around much. I was able to see some cool looking fish, a bottom feeder and a crab. You get 2 hours for the snorkeling and you're not required to wear any life vests (in fact, we weren't offered any and I didn't see any). The water is super shallow so it didn't seem dangerous at all. The water is also salty and easy to float in. The boat was nearby the main snorkeling area. The bad: The area for snorkeling was pretty small. It was an artificial reef where the fish were but outside of that area there is just seagrass and there's no living things to observe. The website says snorkeling starts at $75/pp and up but that's misleading b/c that's only the price if you have 8+ people. When I came to the marina, the worker who had me sign paperwork said that "$25/hour tip is required" when I got an email saying 15% tip is optional. My husband clarified and he said "yes, it's required" but later retracted his statement after I clarified that it was strange to give tip upfront before we even went on the excursion. However, I did already give 15% tip upfront on 50% of the value and then Zelled an additional $25 tip to the captain himself afterward. The cost for snorkeling ended up being $407 for 2 people (pricey). The interesting: The captain swam with us to lead us to the reef and then swam back and was mostly on his phone.

Sabrina Parra, Sales & Event Planner with Prime Experiences, was outstanding. She was responsive, patient, and incredibly accommodating--answering every question without ever making us feel pressured. When she wasn't available, Angela Urbano stepped in seamlessly and provided the same excellent service. Their professionalism and genuine care made the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. The yacht itself exceeded our expectations. After touring the Biscayne Lady, we were blown away by how elegant and beautiful it was. Still, we wondered: would the actual event live up to the tour? It absolutely did--and then some. On the night of the ball, Sabrina personally met us and walked us aboard, introducing us to the crew. From start to finish, the staff was exceptional--attentive, professional, and warm. They truly waited on us hand and foot. The cruise was magnificent: perfect weather, a gorgeous full moon, and stunning views of the Miami skyline made the evening magical. A huge thank you to Sabrina, Angela, and the entire crew of the Biscayne Lady. You didn't just deliver--you created an unforgettable experience for our group. We highly recommend them for any special occasion.

We were sold on a boat that looked incredible- nicely decorated, very lit up, ample food/drinks, and none of that was the case or existed. The boat was like a ferry from Disney world with no lighting, no cocktail tables, ran out of beer in the first 20 min. They were less than accommodating to the fact that this was a surprise party and started with guests when they were trying to board the boat AT THE BOARDING time. The bartenders and servers were told not to take tips from any guests as we were taking very generous care of them at the end (well they took tips lied to us and still took our 25% gratuity). The owner of the company promised me all of these things to make it right after the fact via email, and then ghosted me (that was all nonsense too). I have pictures and screenshots to show all of these things. Stay far away from this company.

I started my conversation at 10:33am trying to find something for 12:00pm. (I've chartered a few yachts from Miami - one for my 50th with approximately 100 guests and a private solo tour which was a last minute decision) I was very animate about needing the boat to be on time because my sister needed to get back to Orlando to catch a flight. I initially spoke to Tania Padilla who said they couldn't do 12:00pm however they could accommodate 1:00pm tour. She also quoted me a rate of $2800 which was within my range only to tell me an hour later she misquoted me...by this time we didn't have much time to try to find another vessel so I went for it. I should have known then they were NOT HONEST PEOPLE. We got there at 12:28pm for a 1:00pm charter. Jeff from the dock took my information and at that time told me we had too many people (13 adults and one 2 month old). Tania never told me this until Jeff from the dock said something. She calls me acting as if she told me 12 was the minimum on a 64ft vessel. This was not the case but nonetheless we made a decision to to leave one behind because she said they could push it to 13. Then Jeff inquires about our charter and walks away as he is talking. He proceeds to help another couple who walked up so I ask him when were we leaving he says the charter company said they're not scheduled to get there until 2:00pm. After lengthy conversations from these crooks Tania had someone named Philippe call me...I keep telling them anything after 1:00pm was too late. Jeff (the dock guy) continued to tell me that they were not scheduled until a 2:00pm arrival according to the captain. He even so rudely to said do you see them out there?! At this point we had to leave because of my sister's flight. JUST BEWARE!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

TWO MONTHS IN ADVANCE! The contract I signed on May 25th was for the 60 ft leopard. On May 26th, I received a call from Juan and Milos stating that the boat I rented may not be available due to an incident that happened with the boat ( ran the ground). However, I was offered a 50 ft boat, in case my original one was not ready to sail. I paid more for the original one. This was a classic bait and switch As of 10 am, the morning of Saturday, May 27th, there was no communication from them, so I had to follow up to see if my original boat was ready. It was such a stressful morning, trying to get some information on my original boat. I had a lot of family in town for my birthday weekend. We were offered two extra hours for the inconvenience. I was told one thing by Golden yacht charter regarding help getting our stuff on the boat and then told another thing by the captain of the boat. After I complained, I was then offered $300 and told that was the best that could be done. I tried calling Juan (the booking agent ) back and did not get an answer, I text and did not get a reply. I started calling all the other numbers for Golden Yacht Charter and did not get an answer. I told the captain we were not leaving and I wasn't signing the final paperwork until I spoke with someone from Golden Yacht Charters, that's when I got a callback. The person I spoke with also tried to lowball me. Again BAIT AND SWITCH! The boat did not leave until an hour later when we finally agreed on an offer. As a company, If you do not have what the customer paid for, you should give them something comparable or better. Not something of lesser value.  I had no issues getting in touch with Juan prior to May 27th. He was responsive and helpful. Email sent to the executive team on June 2nd. Waiting for a response
