We were anchored in Montague Harbour with an engine that wouldn't start. After reading numerous…read morereviews online, I'm so glad we called Eagle Eye Marine for help! Nick offered to come right out to help, but we said we were fine for the evening. He and Celine came over early the next morning and he spent a while trying lots of things to get us going by our own power. We have a 30 year old boat with a labyrinthine electrical layout and he helped us understand some of our systems better. When he finally confirmed the problem was the starter he made arrangements with a marina in Sidney to tow us to and also called in a favor with a reputable, but busy, company to have someone come out the next day to replace the starter-- which they did! While Nick and Celine were helping us, they also assisted two other boats. After confirming we were safe, but before the actual tow, they needed to assist the coastguard with a boat that hit a rock and was sinking. Nick dove on the damaged boat and plugged the hole-- then helped them safely get to a marina. The other boat they assisted was mid-tow for us and the family broke down on the water nearby. They flagged down Eagle Eye, Nick got aboard and fixed their boat-- all while Celine continued to expertly tow our 40' sailboat! They then got us safely tied up in a slip in Sidney. So whatever your boat problems are on the water-- we can vouch for their skills and abilities! Plus, they are super nice people and make otherwise stressful situations much easier. We highly recommend Nick and Celine at Eagle Eye Marine!

As well my trade in was devalued due to the Carfax report flagging a discrepancy in the odometer reading which Island Ford said was odometer rollback. After submitting a ticket to Carfax they investigated and found it was a data entry mistake. Island Ford refused to refund the difference in the trade in and actually stated that I lied about the Carfax. Stay clear of this dealership and especially the sales manager.

Booked winter tire change appt on Sep 23 for service on Oct 1 at Kal Tire Duncan. Sep 30 received…read morea call from Kal Tire saying that the wheels I had in storage had not been transported from the Nanaimo shop where storages are apparently kept. This being the case I was rescheduled to Oct 3. On October 5 - a day after the wheels had finally arrived in Duncan, I waited 2 hours for my car to be ready despite the knowledge that I had already been inconvenienced. When the service technician brought the car back 5o me the first time, he noticed that the front office had not indicated that there were locking bolts sitting on the front seat that needed to be used. The service technician then took the car back on the hoist to put the correct bolts on. This took another 30 min - the technician blamed front office staff for not writing on the work order that the bolts were sitting there on the passenger seat. Now I understand that sometimes staff doesn't show up and that can cause delays but shouldn't the customer be called to advise there may be an extreme wait? I am not impressed.

Spent a lot of money for a service to be done right the first time and I'm left with very sub par results. I spent a couple thousand dollars for an engine rebuild with too many issues to list here but will say at 34, 000 km on the rebuild I'm using upwards of 1.5 litres of oil a month! Not to mention Dave had my vehicle sitting for almost 6 weeks at his shop while he made excuse after excuse. My vehicle actually molded on the inside because it sat damp for so long. I had lots of other work done to the vehicle by Dave around this time as well with crappy results. Note: had my clutch swapped out and asked if I could keep the used part that was coming out of the vehicle and he had the odacity to ask why I would want the used part. Made me wonder had I not asked for the old part, would of he actually done the job? I would have been none the wiser. This man will lie through his teeth all while staring you in the eye. I have never been taken advantage of this much in my entire life. Also be aware that he is very passive agressive and can turn on a dime if you confront him.
