Pros: Admission for adults was only $4.50 and our 8 month old was free. Concessions and tube…read morerentals were also on the cheaper/average side. There was plenty of seating, which included tables under the huge umbrellas, lounge chairs in the pool and then sun bathing chairs. There was a sandy area for kids to play in, a small jungle gym in the water and then a lazy river, which lead into a deeper part of the pool (almost 4 ft). Random sprinklers and water falls also came off the jungle gym. There was plenty of parking even as we were leaving. Cons: The water was FULL of dead bugs, feathers and little twig/leaf pieces. It wasn't until someone complained that the life guards actually started to filter some of it out. And this after being open for over an hour. In the middle of the larger pool there was a huge swirl of dead bugs. GROSS!!!! Also, we had to keep constant watch on our stuff after we caught someone using our sunscreen and then laughing about with her friend after I walked back to our table. It was really strange and completely shocked me that someone would do that. Coming here with a baby and then up to maybe 4 year old would be fine but any older there wasn't much to do. Finally, once the pool started to get busy there was hardly any room to walk or kick your feet without touching someone and the older kids who were goofing off kept bumping into us. Not a huge deal, but with an 8 month old it became a safety concern. Would we go back? DEFINITELY not. Not a chance. Being covered in dead bugs, maneuvering a small, packed pool and then having to worry that no one steal will your belongings isn't a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Worth checking out for yourself? I guess...

This is the best waterpark we have been to! We came here twice in our week vacation, it was so fun…read morefor kids and adults alike! It's clean, lots of lifeguards, and they do allow you to bring in your own water bottles which is so helpful to stay hydrated. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the park and staff. We had a blast both days! I was disappointed in many parents. This is a Christian establishment which is obvious when you get here. If you do not want to respect that, then do not come. There are other water parks in the area. Besides the Bible verses posted when you come in there is a sign explicitly stating that thong bathing suits are not allowed. Unfortunately, there were still plenty of thong bathing suits. Shame on you grown adults who feel like you need to wear that type of a swimming suit in front of hundreds of children and as a grown adult cannot follow rules. Those of you who do this are horrible role models for your own children and others. I do not blame the establishment at all, or expect the teenage staff to have to reprimand and turn away grown adults for their clothing. It's a sad state of the world when adults feel like they need to show off everything to elementary aged children.

A few rides were closed down, I messed up my ankle but this will forever be a cherished memory…read more This was our first time here. The staff/life guards were very wonderful and watched everyone in the water. Seeing my husband and son enjoying life and living in the moment then looking around and seeing everyone having that same moment in their own ways, was beautiful. Our son can't wait to go back. Thank you all for a core memory

Although a small water park, it's a lot of fun. The setting is perfect along the river. The staff…read moreis friendly and there are plenty of lounge seats to sunbathe on. Don't miss out. Hit those water slides, the toilet bowl slide, lazy river, and the wave pool for a good water logging kind of day. We normally grab some snacks too.

We have been season pass holders for many years & I can't believe I've never reviewed this place!…read more Here's the scoop: Tickets: it's expensive to go one time, season passes are where it's at. If you don't have a season pass & a friend or family member does they can get you in 1/2 off! Season passes are cheapest around Christmas for the next summer. Parking does cost a few bucks but is included in certain season passes if you plan to go often. You can also get slightly discounted tickets online if you pick your day in advance. Drinks & food: if you buy a reusable cup you can refill it all season, definitely worth it! Goes on sale preseason. Food lines get long and quality goes downhill later in the day, we have the best luck at Surfside right at noon. The chicken tenders and burgers come with fries and a drink for around $10 & both are decent! You can't bring anything but water in, but you can pack a lunch and enjoy it outside the gates at picnic tables! Best time to go: 10am, right when the doors open! You can get a good chair and have some time without a million other people in the pool, slides and lazy river. What's there: wave pool (waves go off at regular intervals), lazy river (tube provided but can't take it out of there), several slides, & a kid area. If you want a tube for the wave pool you can rent one (or get a pass for the season!). There isn't a ton of shade near water, and on busy days there may be a wait for a shaded table. Bring your sunscreen! Overall - it's totally worth season pass prices to my family, we've had lots of fun here & enjoy many days in the sun! The food can be pretty hit or miss, but when we stick with ordering early we are happy!
