Passion Fruit Green Tea, Dragonfruit Mango Tea
Jennifer A.

Been to ALOT of bubble tea/ cheese foam spots in my life and i must say that this is definitely a "Bronx version". It has a funny smell when you first walk in other than that of the mall. The floor is dirty and they look like they haven't done their delivery order. When i ordered cheese foam in the past it literally was like a dollop of whipped cream. It's decent but only go here when pulled by my daughter or best friend. I like the passion fruit green tea

My favorite Boba tea. Fast service and great tea. The ambiance is cute. Definitely a good to spot.

Fun desserts... looks good to bring home to a special someone.

Went twice...It is a Fun spot for a person on the go (with room to improve): They have great bubble tea (best in the mall) and the snacks of pork buns /desserts are nice... basic sushi is $6+...but there are limited supplies and some $9+ complex rolls in the case... do not expect the sushi restaurant experience...I am waiting for them to build the moving sushi display and will update my review then. My gf liked her tea too. The store and staff are getting organized so make sure to say your sugar and ice levels before hand and expect to sit at the food court unless you want to bring this drink in the car with you as there is not much room inside at this popular location. They are quick and always get the order right btw!

I ordered a salad bowl, and the ordering process is actually kind of interesting. They give you a paper with different options, and you check off what you want in your bowl. Everything came out pretty quickly, but the food isn't exactly hot, more like warm. Only the protein and rice are cooked, while any veggies you add come out cold, which is something to keep in mind. I also tried the pork gyoza, which were just okay. The overall service was also pretty average; the workers weren't particularly friendly. Overall, it was an okay experience, but nothing that really stood out.

You can taste how much love these items are made with. Beautiful colors in the cups and wonderful aroma from the soups and ramen dishes. Truly the service is nice, the ppl at the front are courteous and patient. I appreciate their service. The decor is pretty and the store looks very clean. You can order out or eat in. Prices vary by dish or drink. I wouldve posted pics but I devoured it all.

Went to the mall yesterday and decided to stop by Ugly Dumpling to dine in…read more It was busy but not too busy because I was seated right away. I asked for a booth because I had a few bags, they had one available near the back. I sat at table 77. I was close to the bathroom (not too close where you can see who is in and out). I was able to leave my shopping bags (covered under my coat) to rush the bathroom. It's visible to others would have been aware if I got jacked lol. I ordered a Diet Pepsi with lemon. Sipped on that for awhile and decided to order the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. It was REALLY good. I added some chili oil (already on the tables). I ordered to go the cheesecake with fortune cookies. When i arrived home I realized the fortune cookies were on the side so I smashed them up into crumbles and put on top of the cheesecake. I enjoyed that. Ugly Dumpling is a nice spot to dine after your trip to the mall. They are located a few steps away from the mall entrance. Try em!

Service is a lot to be desired. The staff could be more personable and warm, but the food comes out super quick (almost as if it's cooked in batches). Thing is, the food comes out before the drinks and this occurred on both occasions. They take the drink and food orders simultaneously and the drinks (mango green tea) take entirely too long. While flavorful, the food here is extremely salty. I've had the pork bao buns (the least salty thing I've tried), shrimp fried rice, and garlic string beans. The buns are ok; I've had much better elsewhere. The string beans and shrimp fried rice are very good but, the SALTTTTT. I actually had to send my rice back my second visit and asked them to recook it with less salt. Once it came back, it was actually perfect and my bestie agreed. The peach green tea is really good and the mango green tea, while almost too sweet, is great too. Nothing a lil ice can't fix. Overall, Ugly dumpling is good for a quick and reasonably priced bite.

I walk in, I'm the only customer there, 3 ladies working, all on their phones, not one of them looks up to acknowledge or help me. Finally after a minute or so of me staring at the one who appeared to be the order taker, she looks up and asks if I know what I want, in an annoyed manner since I'd interrupted her Instagramming. I knew I wanted a strawberry milk tea without bubbles, easy enough. I wanted to try something from the crème brûlée series but couldnt think of the name at that moment, she named every coffee drink except that, I ended up going into my phone and finding the name..all while the line is now building behind me. I told her I wanted bubbles in it, she proceeded to tell me how they were 'out of bubbles for now.' This boggled my mind as their entire business is based on BUBBLE tea. Since I was there after driving 20 minutes out of my way to visit, I accepted it without bubbles. As I'm standing there waiting for it to be made, the woman after me orders something with bubbles, was also told they were out but was offered other options. Why wasn't I offered? Not to mention I saw a few cups there waiting to be made, with bubbles in them! And after all that, the drink was NOT tasty at all. This was a very disappointing experience and I likely will not visit this particular location again, but instead would try the one on Fordham Rd which isn't too far away or in Hartsdale on my way home up the Bronx River Pkwy. My words of advice..be conscious of the fact they may be out of bubbles barely halfway into their business day.

They have so many different yummy flavors. They also have many great toppings but be careful it can add up quick! The staff were nice and approachable. The flavors I got were cake batter and dulce de leche and of course it was amazing. And like the other yogurt shops you can also sample these as well. The cheesecake I added didn't taste so fresh so that I didn't like. The way to pay here is by the pound so it's very easy to go over $10 if you get carried away. The place was cleaned and all the tables were occupied. I would come back if I'm at this mall again.

You are then charged according to the weight of the cup. There is no sign anywhere to say what the prices are for the froyo or that the prices are determined by weight or what the rate is ($2 per oz?). I'm not sure how that's legal. I watched as customer after customer was shocked when they were being charged $17 and $20 for frozen yogurt. Also, when another customer was showing my mom how to use the machine, she licked her fingers and then placed them on the same lever that other customers have to touch. That was disgusting. People are licking froyo off their fingers and then touching levers and spoon handles, so keep that in mind when you come to these types of places.
