If you drive by this store, from the outside it just looks like a run down store in an old building…read morein an older part of town, tho it's surrounded by a lot of newness. Dickies Arena is across the street.
Inside, it's still old, a bit dusty, the aisles are tight and the space is small. I did find a few items that we out of date, matter of fact, on Twix bar I purchased was just past the date, but it had clearly been sitting a while.
The staff is super nice and friendly. One of the gems is the little kitchen inside that serves breakfast burritos and lunch items from 7 am to 2 pm. The breakfast burritos are really good. They make them to order. Eggs, has browns, cheese, bacon.... and they cook a LOT of bacon. I came in one day and it was stacked up waiting to be cooked. The bacon is good, on the thinner side, tho still good. The burritos are on 12 inch tortillas and rolled up on all ends, filled really well. The green sauce that they make in house, is amazing!
Working a project across the street, I saw a lot of locals as well as others come and go, from all demographics and both ends of the financial spectrum. The kitchen makes good food, and the staff is fabulous.
