This is a full on grocery store. Inside they have a restaurant which is really like three restaurants combined. They have a wine and beer center they have a butcher shop. They also have all the sections of a grocery store that you might see such as produce dry goods, etc.. The staff was very nice and friendly, too. I even had one or two of them asked me if I wanted any assistance with anything and when even asked if I wanted him to take any of the pictures so that I could be in them. Most of the staff seem to be on the younger side probably students in the nearby town. I bought some corn nuts and a root beer and filled up with gasoline And then I was on my way. It was an unexpected yet pleasant stop.

I will never stop here again. I suspect they cater to interstate traffic (not repeat business) and not the locals. When QT opens on I20/69 this place will really be hurt. This particular location is on the smaller side, so I can't even imagine how huge the larger locations are. There's a wide variety of souvenirs from apparel and home goods to even pet items. Towards the back, you'll find a deli, a wall of specialty beef jerky, tons of snacks, plus brisket sandwiches and desserts, including fudge. We ended up spending a good amount of time here before getting back on the road. You can sample the jerky. I really liked the Honey Jalapeño and Maple Cherry (on the sweeter side). And don't leave without grabbing the beaver nuggets!

If you're driving on a Texas highway and see a Buc-ee's sign, exit - even if you don't need gas. Service - Hats off to the Buc-ee's staff, because while it's always super crowded, I've never had to wait long because there are so many checkout stations and the staff are so nice and helpful.
