This is a full on grocery store. Inside they have a restaurant which is really like three restaurants combined. They have a wine and beer center they have a butcher shop. They also have all the sections of a grocery store that you might see such as produce dry goods, etc.. The staff was very nice and friendly, too. I even had one or two of them asked me if I wanted any assistance with anything and when even asked if I wanted him to take any of the pictures so that I could be in them. Most of the staff seem to be on the younger side probably students in the nearby town. I bought some corn nuts and a root beer and filled up with gasoline And then I was on my way. This particular location is on the smaller side, so I can't even imagine how huge the larger locations are. There's a wide variety of souvenirs from apparel and home goods to even pet items. Towards the back, you'll find a deli, a wall of specialty beef jerky, tons of snacks, plus brisket sandwiches and desserts, including fudge. We ended up spending a good amount of time here before getting back on the road. You can sample the jerky. I really liked the Honey Jalapeño and Maple Cherry (on the sweeter side). It's close to the highway with easy access. There's a hundred gas pumps. There are multiple entrances to the store. Even at 1pm on a weekday, it was BUSY! Inside, there's that Buc-ee's smell that hits you hard. Candied nuts and fresh brisket. And all the other stuff you can see - jerky and fudge and soda fountains and Icees and a wall of candy. It's practically a ritual. Of course, we had to stop to visit the restrooms. Mrs. K. confirmed that the ladies side was excellent and I could see that the men's side was clean. I love the red/green lights to let you know which stalls are available or not. In addition to the fridge magnet, Mrs. K. added a BUC-EE'S ballcap to the collection along with two bags of the caramel drizzled Beaver Nuggets. All I've done so far is filled up on gasoline here. Prices aren't bad, maybe not as low as the prices at Murphy's across the street, but it's a lot more convenient to get in & out of the parking lot here than the Walmart parking lot across the street. I'd come here again.
