Let me give this place a 3 stars. First, there is this hype for eating Japanese, and Japanese curry plus meat and nice cool tiger logo design is just so cool. I have wanted to come here for a while.
It happened I am alone tonight and wandered around here. This is a good type of food to even eat alone. And they did design the place to serve some lone wolf, or lone tiger in this case.
I have to say, the menu is not easy to understand. But soon when you figured out, it is actually not bad. I have picked the recommended Hungry Tiger to feed myself of my hunger. It looked kind of small, but it actually pretty filling. The Japanese rice is round and soft. Curry well cooked like he usual curry sauce, different from want the Sama curry at central, this is the traditional Japanese curry. Surprised that they did not ask for spicy level, probably not adjustable.
The hungry tiger was actually only so so, I trusted that individually order would have been better. The problem with the dish is that they put fries on top. The fries are nothing special, but it fills you up, mob your rice and meat of the curry sauce and making it hard to navigate the food around.
Chicken tastes good. Beef burger meat is ok. Pork was nothing special. The sausage taste okay but too little too few. And way add a bone back when sausage is designed to remove the bone.
They serve beers and wine and sake. Probably best to avoid it. Don't think the environment is that targeted for alcohol. If you really want to drink, beer is okay, but standard Japanese draft is expected.
Service is so so. Efficiency oriented. However, the food took longer than expected to arrive.
Overall, I might come back but not too amazing. read more
