Calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and tasks require constant reminders to be completed--if they ever get done at all. At the beginning, they talked a big game and made it seem like they were committed to helping our community. But as soon as they announced their departure, they essentially abandoned us. Our property manager, Patricia Bravo, has to be constantly reminded to complete even the most basic tasks, and even then, they either take forever or never follow through. We are still paying them for services, yet it feels like we're being ignored. The lack of professionalism and accountability is beyond frustrating, especially when our community still relies on them until their contract officially ends. They left us scrambling to pick up the pieces while still taking our money. To make matters worse, when they do respond, it's either with excuses or empty promises. Simple requests that should take a few minutes drag on for weeks with no resolution. Their failure to communicate and properly transition responsibilities has only added unnecessary stress to our HOA board and residents. Even the owner, Gustavo Terrones, has been no help in addressing these issues. I personally emailed him numerous times regarding the ongoing problems with his company and his manager, Patricia Bravo, and he never once responded. He simply did not care and could not be bothered to even acknowledge the concerns. Once you sign the contract, he washes his hands of everything and moves on. Now, even after they're gone, their mismanagement continues to affect us. A month after our contract expired, PMI still had not resolved a $3,600 reimbursement owed to our HOA. There was no clear explanation--just vague excuses--and now our new manager has to clean up the mess. On top of that, our HOA landscaper called me today and mentioned that he was never paid for several months of service while PMI was in charge. Frankly, I'm not surprised--Patricia Bravo seemed to have mentally checked out a long time ago. I had to apologize on behalf of the HOA and assure the landscaper that our new manager, Norma from Streamline Management, would settle our debt with him. This is yet another lingering problem left behind by PMI. Even after parting ways with them, their poor business practices continue to haunt us. I honestly wonder how many more surprises we'll uncover. PMI is turning out to be a mistake we regret deeply--too much big talk and empty promises, just to be let down hard. At this point, it looks like we may never recover the $3,600 they owe us unless we take legal action. We may have to sue them in court just to get our money back. If they're willing to do this to our community--and to me, the representative of our HOA, a Marine Corps combat veteran and retired law enforcement officer--imagine what they're willing to do to a regular civilian like you. They have no integrity, no accountability, and no respect for the people they are supposed to serve. Don't be fooled by their promises. PMI RGV may seem professional at first, but once they have your contract, you'll see their true colors. If you're considering them for HOA management, or any kind of property management--home, apartment, or otherwise--save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

When we moved in, the house had been vacant for many months; we left this property in better condition than when we moved in. It was clear from the move out walk-through inspection that Rene and the Maverick Realty team were intent on not returning all of my security deposit. We made an agreement but, after I move to Fort Bliss, I received a security deposit refund that had an additional $220 of additional charges taken out. One of these charges was an illegal $125 charge to re-key the home. Under Tex. Prop. Code § 92.156(a)., keys "shall be rekeyed by the landlord at the landlord's expense not later than the seventh day after each tenant turnover date." Rene and the Maverick Realty knew I was an active duty service member who would not be returning to McAllen. They stopped responding to emails and phone calls from me and from the Fort Bliss legal assistance office. My only recourse is to hire a local private attorney at my own expense - which would be expensive and difficult to do while stationed at Fort Bliss.

Later I found a house I wanted to buy and I figured I want to give more business to the same agent. So I asked him if he would offer a buyers credit rebate if I use him, he promised me 2% rebate, so of course I said yes. Well a day before closing I was informed that Joyce Toombs said it was illegal for an agent to help out with a buyers rebate/credit. Its not illegal. So then Joyce Toombs turns around and says I never had the rebate in writing. I provided Joyce Toombs from Keller Williams emails from the agent in writing that he would rebate me 2%. She completely ignored my email which clearly shows I was not lying. I have filled a complaint against Joyce Toombs Keller Williams with TREC, BBB and I am taking legal action. I would recommend not doing any business with a broker so unethical.
