Umnn no. Booked one morning early, couple hours before making the hour trip on out and had a hard time finding parking. Turns out, was a busy Cedar Key festival kind of day. Nothing on their website about it when I booked but good on them; I just Love seeing the city healthy and vibrant and happy, happy, happy again. After about a half hour of nerve wracking hunting, we called them to see what all we could do. We were still about a half an hour early. Turns out, nothing! They got us. @!#?@! Our request to reschedule was warmly yes, we could ...but then was coldly nooo, because we were too late after whatever return window we booked in. So better be sure, if you're booking and coming up on the same day. It's not like we were a no-show, or cancelled on short notice, or even changed our mind; we actually made the two hour round trip and drove around for about half an hour looking for parking. Whatever, that's how they do business here and they can Cedar keep it. We will never know the joys of their tour even though we paid for it. Buyer beware, my friends. read more

Absolutely amazing coastal tour! I went on the 1.5-hour coastal tour with Tidewater Tours and had an incredible experience from start to finish. We were lucky to see tons of dolphins throughout the trip--definitely a highlight! Captain Cyn was fantastic--super knowledgeable, fun, and made everyone feel welcome and engaged. You can tell she really loves what she does, and it made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want to enjoy the beauty of the coast from the water. Prior to my visit, I wanted to book a tour, unfortunately the only sunset tour potentially scheduled that weekend was only available on a Waitlist... I signed up. I had also called and spoke with Captain Justin and talked about the waitlist and also thought I'd see if he knew of any local kayak tours or people who might be into doing that. Although no luck there, Justin was incredibly nice and helpful. Once I got into town and spent the day out and about, I didn't know I had an email from Misti asking that although the sunset tour wasn't available that evening, the earlier 4 pm tour was available and if I wanted to join it, I could.. But I didn't see that email until after the tour had already left. I responded back and was advised that the following day there was a 1:30 pm tour available, so I had a reservation for that. I received an email confirmation soon thereafter and was really glad I went with that option. The tide was soooooo low the day I originally thought I'd go, there likely wasn't much you could see on the 4 pm tour, let alone the sunset tour. I walked from my BnB, showed up 15 minutes early for my scheduled tour, paid my fee in cash, Captain Justin showed up and we all chatted with a few folks going on the same tour... Everyone was very nice. There were so many dolphin......I see dolphin back home all the time but I always feel like it's something special no matter how many times you see them. Seems the waters are less disturbed in these parts. Maybe they are happier and healthier there. That's what I choose to believe. I loved taking so many photos of all the birds (soooo many birds!) and dolphin - we even saw a sea turtle and rays... All in all, I enjoyed this 90 minute tour with all the stories and it was nice to get out on the water. read more

If you are in Cedar key this is a must do! Fabulous tour guide so knowledgeable... You get a great overview of the area, the history, the opportunity to see dolphins up close...! It was a great way to spend a couple of hours and get out on the water read more

Nice people running the trip. The boat is far too cramped with people and with the netting and cover it detracts from the experience. It's a short ride to see a beautiful sunset that one could see easily from shore. If you rarely go on boats and/or are from Ohio or Pennsylvania or some other carpet bagger state perhaps you will enjoy it. Myself being from the Florida Keys, thought "meh". read more

My wife and I had an awesome time on the tour! The boat was clean, and Captain Bob was great story teller and historian (he's a retired history professor!). We learned a lot about Florida history and the history of Cedar Key, as well as Civil War history. We saw dolphins on the tour that were right near the boat, ospreys as well, and got to visit one of the oldest lighthouses in Florida. They were dog friendly, and no one minded our little dog tagging along on the boat. They don't take payment until you are about to get on the boat too just in case of inclement weather, which is nice too. Great value, and a must do for people visiting Cedar Key! read more

Nice tour, a little over the top in the story telling. I live in a tourist town & actually worked at a horse stable ... I know fluff when I hear it...a lot of stories, but some good ones as well. When he tells you about the snakes on Atsena Otie Key, we walked the whole place, did not see one snake...which was a good thing....NOW, when he tells you about the mosquitoes...holy hell, believe him! I think I need a transfusion when I got back in my kayak, I would of loved to take my time reading all the grave stones, but, God help you if you stop moving!! Cover up, even if your kayaking there...you can always take it off, tons of bug spray & move a FAST! Nice crew, saw dolphins in our wake... Lots of bird stories...take those with a grain of sand...but, other then that, worth the $$$$. Nice way to see the other key's/islands if your not a kayaker!! read more

While we hadn't planned to take a boat tour when we headed out on foot this morning we are glad we found this gem (and they had room for us.) we learned a ton! Bill as a Suwanee River tour but it's a the lower Suwanee. Not much to see or do, just a long boat ride. Take the Sunset tour instead.

I had a pontoon boat rented for noon until 3:00 on Saturday June 20th, only to show up at the check in point at the marina and be told there was no such reservation and that they NEVER would make a reservation by email and that I didn't know what I was talking about!! We had friends drive 1 1/2 hours to join us for the day on the boat. This left us high and dry with no other options for the day since EVERYTHING, including golf carts were completely booked. THANKS for ruining our day. ESPECIALLY the attitude of the woman at check in. Such fantastic customer service. NOT!! I forwarded ALL the email correspondence I had with Captain Tom, just so they know I DO KNOW what I'm talking about AND YES Captain Tom DOES take reservations by email. read more

On a trip to FL my family discovered Tide Water Tours, it was amazing.
