And I was able to transfer over funds from checking and savings seamlessly. Since then, I've felt pretty comfortable being a member since I was working at NNSY as a Contractor at the time. Recently, NFCU came through for me for two separate situations. First one was withdrawing money for the trip home to Louisiana. Keeping my debit card in my wallet was a must due to a possibility of being scammed. The transaction went without a hitch. After coming back, I requested a cashiers check via their mobile app for rent payment with the complex going through an acquisition. Just like the withdrawal from a week before, seamless. I chose to pick it up at this branch right after New Years with no problems at all. NFCU truly came through for yours truly. I am very fortunate to be a member. Highly recommended :)

Bank undergoing renovations, all transactions done via drive-thru…read more I pulled up on a Saturday morning and saw a line of 2 people at the door. Spent 5 minutes in line until it was my turn to step in only to be told by a guard that all transactions are to be done via the drive-up windows. He should have been standing outside the door so people wouldn't loiter in line thinking they could get some banking done. There were 3 teller stations open in the drive through and all lines went smoothly.

There was no waiting in line to see a teller which was a plus! I was there only to cash a check that was drawn on Navy Federal Credit Union. I am tempted to join them, however, they do not have a local branch here in Smithfield, VA. If they did I would definitely join!

I drove all the way from VA Beach to the DMV just to get sent back out within 10 minutes. I had to…read morevisit NFCU to clarify a few things because I've been going back and forth with them and the DMV for months but the Coronavirus really interrupted my plans entirely. Came in for some loan/vehicle title things and barely waited 2 minutes. The staff was quick, efficient and patient. I want to say a special thanks to Erica and Craig for being incredibly helpful as well. I was especially happy to see an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser at the front being a nurse and what not. Haha, if I didn't live 45 minutes away I would definitely visit again for any inquiries with my NFCU account.

Also the parking is terrible because there are great restaurants around this location. The wait in line even if it is a long line is max 15 minutes, the staff at this location want to assist you as quickly and professionally as possible.
