Worst service I've ever received at a cleaning establishment. I brought in an important item of clothing that was "dry clean only" and they ruined it and won't accept any responsibility. The stand-in manager passed the buck saying the real manager who could do anything about it was on vacation and would be returning at the beginning of December. I've been trying to get in contact with that manager since then beginning of December and nobody is returning phone calls. Don't bring your stuff to this location specifically. This is beyond ridiculous. My name is Kimberly. I took my runner rug to Tides cleaners in June.When I got it home upon unwrapping it, I noticed it was damage I immediately went back to the cleaners. The young lady apologize to me then placed my contact inf for the Manager David to contact me. He never did I end up speaking to him face to face he never apologize informed me he would put a claim to corporate for the amount of 50.00 to replace it.I never receive anything I waited patiently I informed David that something needed to be done I have waited patiently. I have hesitated - but after three years I decided everyone should know. We were fired as a customers. It's the only time in my life I have been fired! I used them every week for several years. (Spending many $s week. (My wife and I are professionals.). Two different times they ruined something. We didn't throw a fit - but quietly asked for replacement. I dropped my blanket off at Tide Cleaners in Colorado Springs in early July and had one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever dealt with. When I went to pick it up, they told me they couldn't find it. I was made to wait several weeks before they would even file a claim, and then told it could take months to receive a reimbursement check. In September, I suddenly got a call that my blanket had been "returned" by someone, so they canceled the claim and told me to come pick it up. I assumed it would at least be freshly cleaned, but when I opened the packaging at home, it reeked of cigarette smoke--worse than when I dropped it off. Nobody in my household smokes, so clearly it had been in someone else's possession. When I reached out to corporate to request compensation, they refused and only offered to clean it again "free of charge." I finally got my blanket back on 9/15, two months later, with the smoke smell gone, but I have no idea where it's been all this time. This entire situation was mishandled from start to finish, and I will never bring anything to Tide Cleaners again. read more

Tide never returns phone calls about lost products. First they only gave me half my sleeping bag back. Next product we took in was two comforters. They only returned one comforter. They lost my expensive comforter then never returned my phone calls about filing a claim. The manager is never there. The staff leaves notes for the manager to call you back and they never returned my phone calls. I went to the business to speak to the manager Tori and come to find out they never actually filed a claim for my lost product. NEVER SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! Wow, I can honestly say that I am shocked. I have worked in the dry cleaning industry for over 20 years and during that time, as anyone else who has been in the industry can tell you, that from time to time you encounter mechanical issues, short staff issues, and an inability to achieve a certain outcome on a garment that you know can be achieved at a different different place due to the different chemicals that they use. All of these issues can keep you from getting production done for the day so as a manager and as a business owner, you do your best to still get the job done for the day even if that requires you taking your clothes to another business. In all of my years it has been a standard practice at each dry cleaning place I have ever worked. I have worked for Tide in the past and I love what they stand for, well at least until today, I loved their ethics and their mission statement but today that all came tumbling down. I currently own another dry cleaning establishment here in the Springs and will sometimes use Tide or other establishments from time to time because I know what their chemicals are capable of achieving . If a customer drops off at my front counter and the issue that I am facing is made aware of at that time, I will send that Customer to the other establishments, and I will explain to them that the stains that they have would be better in a different solvent. That is a great compliment coming from another Cleaners but sometimes after a customer has dropped off at my front counter and I see the issue, I have to find a way to make that Customer happy, so I will usually drop off at another cleaners, not all the time but sometimes. I do not ask for discount because I know the amount of time and the amount of work that is required to get the job done and I appreciate the job that they will do. While I worked for Tide , this was a practice that I was encouraged to do by my upper management. We dropped off clothes at different Cleaners because they used perk which is good for certain stains and we also utilized other Cleaners to press our shirts when our machines were down. I have sent dry cleaning out to be cleaned at different cleaners because the dry cleaning machine was down. I have sent laundered shirt out to be cleaned and pressed at different cleaners because our shirt press was down. I have even taken laundry to a laundromat to be washed, sometimes up to a month because we had no washing machines. So today it shocked me when I sent an employee to drop off a few items. The general manager lectured him and told him he would not do the items. My employee was dropping off in our work van so there was nothing underhanded being done. The items were 10 shirts to be pressed only, as I had already cleaned and addressed all of my stains and two leather coat, which I had encouraged the customer to drop off on their own although they requested I dropped them off for them. This is nothing different than I have ever done while I worked for them. This is the same practice that they still do when they send out alterations to be done somewhere else and charge the customer as if they had done the job themselves . While at Tide , I used to drop off certain greasy and oily items to be cleaned at another cleaners because they use a solvent called perk, which is really good on oily stains. Like I said, I take it as a compliment when another cleaner sends their customer my way. In fact when my employee got back and told me what it happened, I had a Customer walk in and needed same-day service and I could not provide the service so I sent the customer to Tide even after the nasty exchange I am still willing to send Customers their way, because at the end of the day I want to make somebody's day. I can appreciate Tide and the service they provide, as well as the other cleaners that I utilize and who are willing to assist me. This really saddens me that my employee was treated in this manner for practicing the same as they would in an emergency. My Cleaners is not here to step on anyone's toes nor is it here to abolish or cripple anyone. We are here to uplift And celebrate our customers as well as other Cleaners in the industry. We already live in an ugly world, and I choose to give a helping hand to all. I am positive that this was personal and for that I am truly saddened. I was giving you business, but I was not capable of doing at the moment and you chose to spit it back in my face. Tide , please do better because this is not what you stand for........ in fact, you took your mission statement and stained it. read more

I just dropped off 5 linen blouses and a pair of linen pants to another dry cleaners to be repressed. My clothes looked like they had been hung to dry and, maybe, hit in a few places with a steamer. The pants have a seam where there should be no seam. I will never use this dry cleaners again. read more

Very dissatisfied in this company after three days and and receiving a confirmation email, my order was not ready for pick-up. The order was not even at the store. The worker was unable to get an ETA in delivery time from her manager. In addition I was told to pick it up after 5 on Tuesday, which I did. This company is unreliable, unorganized and not worth the price. For the price I expect high quality service. I expect this wash/fold to be free of charge due to their errors and waste of my time. read more

Really disappointed in the quality of cleaning I received on a recent visit to this cleaners. First, I am bald, zero hair! My blazer jacket comes out with hair all over it. Gross! So being that I am in a hurry I think, no big deal I'll use a lint roller. I pull out a dry cleaned white shirt from an entirely different bag and it is covered in black hairs, looks both human and maybe lint from other items. Anyways, I am not sure what the hype is with this place. Yes service was friendly. Yes it's nice to drive up, but if you don't inspect your clothes this could happen. Two of my jackets were messed up. I pulled them out of the bag for the first time since I received them from here and one has a HUGE tear on the inside and the other has a button that was damaged & cannot be fixed due to the leather around it. How does this even happen...I'm so sad. My favorite coat has been ruined and it was a coat that sentimental value to me. read more

JUST STOP and find another cleaners...worst experience I have ever had (and I am an avid user of dry cleaners and before I moved the the Springs I had the same cleaners for 10 years). The quality of dry cleaning was far below what I am use to (not to mention the customer service) and I had a sweater that was damaged under the Colorado Springs Centennial location and the manager (did not get his name) was not apologetic for this, instead took the a defensive approach; how he just couldn't understand where the damage was on them. I had a few other issues with my cashmere sweaters (they didn't shave them as I had requested and paid for) but nothing else was damaged thankfully. I did want to put a claim through but the manager was making it sound like it's a drawn out process and it could take up to 3 weeks and what would be fair a store credit...I told him I felt sorry for him and how he would treat a customer; a new customer at that so rudely and I will never return! read more

We have been using Tide for the last 4 years but about a year ago everything changed. They have lost our items, given us someone else's items several times which we returned, told us by email that items are ready only to have to return several times for all items and ruined husbands suits. I've been using tide for years. Lately it's been pretty rough. We utilize the pick up/ delivery service. This is the third time now that they have not returned our items. We pay for the convenience of having dry cleaning delivered, it has been weeks without our returned items. Apparently they've changed from being one of the premiere dry cleaners to just shuffling shirts and simple laundry. They do NOT do alterations and they do NOT do any specialty items that need attention or handling. This is ok except they were so highly rated for doing these things. Worst of all was that the girls in there seemed almost gleeful in telling me what they can't do. They promised if we got them there by 9:00am they would be ready by 3:00. We go back little after 4:00 and they say won't be ready until Monday. I do not live here and will not be here on Monday. It clearly says on the ticket Saturday before 5:00. The manager said it was not communicated we needed it today how can that be if the ticket says today. I missed my pick up at my house (which is free btw), and dropped off my bag of clothes at the drive through in the middle of the night a couple of days ago. I have to be on a plane tomorrow and haven't had time to pick up my clothes. I managed to wait so long to get my cleaning in, I was out of shirts! Door-to-Door Solicitation in a Non-Solicitation Neighborhood. My wonderful wife sent my business clothes to be laundered and cleaned as a surprise to try out this service. Today when I arrived home I discovered my business clothes hanging on the door knob from Tide Dry Cleaners, my wife and children were at the Y, so I called her to inquire about my discovery. My wife acknowledged that she sent some of my business clothes out for dry cleaning by Tide Dry Cleaners. She also acknowledged that she did not ask nor did she receive a price listing for services before having the clothes picked up for dry cleaning. Well needless to say I was in sticker shock when I saw the price charged for a simple dry cleaning and pressing. I checked the website and discovered there was not a price listing on the cookie cutter website. I then proceeded to contact Tide Dry Cleaners to inquire as the pricing for the dry cleaning services. The price is exorbitant, and the service, in my opinion, isn't an upgrade to my usual dry cleaning service.The hangers were standard fair, and I could not detect any starch in my pressed trousers. Also, I did not detect a "fresh" scent; although I admit, I was a little irritated so that I may have missed the Tide Fresh Scent. I thank my awesome wife for the "surprise"; however, I could have had an entire week's worth of clothes professionally laundered, starched, and pressed for the price of the five articles of clothing that Tide Dry Cleaners serviced. I'm not for cliche's but "If you have to ask ... You probably don't want to know". If you are short on time or just don't want the "bother" of dropping your clothes off at the cleaners, enjoy the "service". Understand that you are paying extra for the convenience of curbside service for the same or lesser service that you can receive at a local dry cleaner that doesn't have the need to go door-to-door to sell its expensive services. I think once the novelty of having your clothes picked up curbside and the realization of the exorbitant pricing; even my caring wife would agree that the "service" isn't worth the price and convenience of not having to drop business clothes off at the dry cleaners on the way to running errands. read more

You'll receive your own dry cleaning bag, coupons and occasional discounts (i.e. "birthday suit" discount on your special day). -Open later than most cleaners (Monday-Friday they're open until 7 pm; weekends until 5). -After hours drop off. -Drive thru for both pick up and drop off. -Specialty services like tailoring and color restoration. -Staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly Cons -Holy EXPENSIVE! Skirts and shirts are $5.50, suits are around $10. I've been going here for over a year now after a co-worker recommend it after it became Tide Cleaners. It's a more expensive then my previous cleaners but it's worth the price. No more broken buttons or shirts pressed incorrectly. They also do a great job with stains. I had some melted chocolate land on my shirt and me trying to wipe it off just rubbed it in. They got this stain out completely. I recommend Tide for guys with button up shirts that don't like to iron. I also like the drive through using the bags they give you when you sign up for rewards. Dress shirts were often received with collars smashed even after talking to them repeatedly about the issue. Then they just stopped picking up our bag. When I called, they said we had been dropped from the route for infrequent usage which I guess means we didn't always have something twice a week every week. We were still frequently using them since my husband wears a suit every day. The person that I spoke to at he office was abrupt and unhelpful. Told me to call the route driver myself and try to work things out. read more

I've used Tide Dry cleaners since when they were Summit Cleaners ... Maybe six years now. For most of those years they have been pretty good. But they just ruined a pair of $100 wool dress trousers. The manager on duty said it was due to wear. But the trousers had no signs of "wear" when I dropped them off. They were seriously frayed around the belt line and the material was "pilled" throughout. They were also shorter by1/2". I'm 98% sure they washed these pants which are dry clean only. When I went in to complain I had on the exact pants in a different color, purchased the same day last year which have been worn and cleaned with the same frequency. She agreed that the pants I had on looked new. I was surprised that they wouldn't give a long term customer the benefit of the doubt on a matter like this. The manager was insistent that it was wear and that the pants were handled correctly ... because the computer said so. Sorry, nothing can be done. I'm looking for a new place. read more

I will not be back. First I put a favorite designer dress into cleaners, not because it was spotted or dirty in particular, but I had worn it a few times and wanted it fresh for a business trip. They have no quality control, I don't believe they look at the garments before giving them back to you. I get it home, and there are plate sized spots all over it, front, back, arms! I drive back and the (I believe owner) manager gives me a very skeptical eye, says they must have been there already because nothing they do could cause this. But because he's a great guy, he'll try to get those spots out. Dress comes back without spots, but the fabric no longer feels the same nor draped the same. Different time (glutton for punishment?), pick up but given a return bag for another customer. Had to drop that back off and get another one. I have a favorite blouse by an Italian designer, haven't fit in it for years, but can now, so I take it there to be cleaned because I see a tiny pinhead sized spot on the front. It has open selvage edges, it is not a defect, it is the design. Where apparently they worked to remove the spot, that entire side was completed frayed, whereby it was given back to me as if it was good as new. I pull it out, and discover the damage. The owner would like to say it is a manufacturer defect. Really? NO. Also was cleaned many times by a prior dry cleaner and never incurred any damage. I'm done. You have clothes that are expensive that you care about, avoid this dry cleaners. read more

We've been customers for 10+ years and wouldn't trust anyone else. They are pricey for anything other than men's dress shirts but worth it! I have expensive clothes and it's nice to know that we can trust them. They have, on occasion, had a mishap with my husband's silk shirts, but they always reimbursed us the cost of the shirt without hassle. If a button breaks on one of the men's shirts, they replace all of the buttons at no cost. All in all, a great dry cleaner. oooh, and the biggest bonus- FREE home pick up and delivery. love! read more

I took several costumes in to be cleaned. One came back with food on the front and greasy stains all over and another was shrunk and the trim destroyed. Terrible, terrible, terrible. These were expensive Renaissance court dress costumes and will have to be replaced. I am really angry. read more
